St Philip Parish is one of the 57 parishes of Cumberland County, New South Wales, a cadastral unit for use on land titles. It is located on the western part of the original colony at Sydney Cove, which was to the west of the Tank Stream. It is one of the four small parishes in the Sydney city area (together with St Andrew, St Lawrence and St James) and is named after the church of St Philip's. It includes the southern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Dawes Point and Millers Point. It is bounded by Sydney Harbour in the north, King Street in the south, George Street in the south-east, and what was once the Tank Stream in the east (now near a small part of Hunter Street, Milton street and part of Pitt Street in the east, near but not including Circular Quay). The northern end of Darling Harbour is the boundary in the west. It includes Wynyard railway station.

Wynyard () is an urban locality adjacent to Wynyard railway station in the Sydney central business district of New South Wales, Australia. Wynyard was named in honour of Major-General Edward Buckley Wynyard, a former British Army officer who, in September 1847, was put in command of the troops in New South Wales, Van Diemen's Land and New Zealand.Wynyard railway station is located underground and is a major Sydney Trains railway station, serviced by six lines. It is also a major bus terminal, serving as the CBD terminus for many routes from the Northern Beaches and North Shore.

The Wynyard Walk is a 180-metre-long (590 ft) pedestrian link and tunnel between Wynyard station and Barangaroo in the Sydney central business district. The walkway was officially opened on 20 September 2016. Wynyard Walk provides a quick and safe route and has increased the entry and exit capacity of Wynyard station to meet demand as Barangaroo is redeveloped. An estimated 20,000 pedestrians per hour can walk through the tunnel. In 2009, prior to construction of Barangaroo, the pedestrian tunnel was estimated to cost $100 million.

Suncorp Place (formerly AAPT Centre) is a Sydney skyscraper located at Grosvernor and Lang Streets Sydney NSW Australia. It was designed for Qantas by Joseland & Gilling architects, and was completed in 1982. The Centre is used for commercial offices and is 182m tall, and 42 levels high, to the roof, although the rooftop structure brings the total height to 193m. The majority of floor space is occupied by Suncorp; the remainder by a mix of mainly financial businesses.

Wynyard Park is a 0.7-hectare (2-acre) urban park in the Sydney central business district, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Wynyard Park is bounded by York, Carrington, Margaret and Wynyard Streets. Surrounded by modern high-rise buildings it is one of the most densely built-up and intensively used parks in Sydney. Entrances to Wynyard railway station are located on the north-eastern and north-western corners of the park. Wynyard Park is the site of the first military barracks in Australia, the present park having its location, form and dimensions from the space of the original parade ground that the barracks occupied. The site is one Australia's oldest parks to be continuously set aside as open space for public use in an urban context. The park has maintained its role as an open square for public meetings, political protests, entertainment, assembly and passive recreation since its dedication as a public park in 1887.Wynyard Park is a popular place for office workers to eat lunch. Also, many bus services to the northern suburbs originate their journeys in the streets bordering the park.

Hunter Street is a street in the Sydney central business district in New South Wales, Australia. It runs from George Street in the west to Macquarie Street in the east. The street was originally named Bell Street. It is named after Governor Hunter, the second Governor of New South Wales. Hunter Street is perhaps most famous for housing the Frankie's Pizza By The Slice, a famous rock music bar and nightclub. Originally two-way throughout, in February 1987 the Pitt to George Street section was converted to one-way in a westerly direction.

The NSW Housing Board Building is a heritage-listed former police station and government building and now commercial offices located at 16-18 Grosvenor Street in the inner city Sydney suburb of The Rocks in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by William Henry Foggitt and built in 1921 by J. McCarthy. It is also known as NSW Housing Board Building (former) and Charlotte House. The property is owned by Property NSW, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 10 May 2002.

The St Patrick's Catholic Church is the oldest surviving Catholic church in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Opened in 1844, it is located at the junction of Grosvenor and Gloucester Streets in the inner city suburb of The Rocks in the City of Sydney. It is also known as St Patrick's, Church Hill or St Pat's Church Hill. The property is owned by the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. The Marist Fathers, a religious order, have administered the parish since 1868.
