Clive Evatt Reserve and Turiban Reserve are two forest remnants situated on Burns Road, Wahroonga, in Sydney, Australia. Both are of a high conservation status, being some of the last remnants of the critically endangered Blue Gum High Forest in the Sydney basin. Turiban has some of the tallest forest trees in Sydney, some blackbutt exceeding 45 metres tall. Forest restoration programs have been in progress for many years. The weeds ochna and privet being particularly troublesome. Foxes are an invasive mammal species. "Turiban" is said to be a clan of Indigenous Australians who lived north of Sydney.

St John's Uniting Church is a heritage-listed Uniting church located at Coonanbarra Road in the Sydney suburb of Wahroonga in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. Established as a Presbyterian church, the building was designed by John Shedden Adam (of Sulman and Power and Adam) and built from 1929 to 1930. It is also known as St. John's Uniting Church, Hall and Manse, Knox Church, Wahroonga Presbyterian Church, St John's Presbyterian Church, WPS and Wahroonga Preparatory School. The property is owned by the Uniting Church in Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 19 September 2003.

Rose Seidler House is a heritage-listed former residence and now house museum located at 69–71 Clissold Road in the Sydney suburb of Wahroonga in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Harry Seidler and built from 1948 to 1950 by Bret R. Lake. It is also known as In neighbourhood precinct with Marcus Seidler House and Teplitzky House or Rose House. The property is owned by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.The mid-century modern house was designed for both of Seidler's parents – Rose and Max Seidler, however since Rose Seidler was the person who initiated and drove the commission, making all the main client decisions, the house is named after only her.

As a provider of care since 1933, the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is a major metropolitan hospital, and is a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney. It provides hospital care for around 300,000 people living in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai area. The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service also incorporates six Community Health Centres and ten Early Childhood Centres. The hospital is under the control of the Northern Sydney Local Health District having previously been a part of the Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service. While much of the hospital is of a ramshackle design, the main building is a two-storey circular design (named the Lumby Building for its benefactor), which forms the emblem of the hospital.

The Briars is a heritage-listed residence located at 14 Woonona Avenue, in the Sydney suburb of Wahroonga in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Charles H. Halstead. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.William Alexander Balcombe, for whom the house was built, was the grandson of William Balcombe (Snr) a Naval Agent and Purveyor for the East India Company on the island of St Helena during the exile of Napoleon Bonaparte on the island. The house is named, and has resemblance to, the building where Napoleon first stayed upon his arrival in St Helena.
