Rushmore Farm is a historic home located at Athens in Greene County, New York. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, six-bay-wide by two-bay-deep stone dwelling surmounted by a steep gable roof. It was built in two sections during the late 18th century and early 19th century and features an overlay of Greek Revival details. Also on the property is a contributing stone smokehouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Inmates at this facility are also responsible for numerous assaults on staff. Additionally, it was revealed that in 2016, prison guards instigated an attack on an inmate and covered it up.

The Bronck House, also known as the Pieter Bronck House, is a historic house museum west of Coxsackie in Greene County, New York. With a construction history dating to 1663, it is believed to be the oldest surviving building in Upstate New York, and is a well-preserved example of early Dutch and Swedish Colonial architecture. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1967. It is now a museum property managed by the county historical society.

Bronck Farm 13-Sided Barn is a historic barn located at Coxsackie in Greene County, New York. It was built about 1832 and is a 13 sided frame structure with a hipped roof surmounted by an octagonal cupola. It has an overall diameter of 70 feet and the one story interior is open in plan. It is related to, but listed separately from the Bronck House.It meets the definition of a round barn, as a polygon shape approaching circular. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Coxsackie is a village in Greene County, New York, United States. The population was 2,746 at the 2020 census.The village name comes from the native word mak-kachs-hack-ing. When the land was purchased by the Dutch settlers, the name was written as Koxhackung. It is generally translated as "Hoot-owl place" or "place of many owls" from an Algonquin word believed to mean "Place of Owls" or "Owl's Hoot". The village is in the eastern part of the town of Coxsackie along the Hudson River. The "downstreet," or downtown area, along Reed Street is home to a Post Office branch, a town Library (Heermance Memorial Library), the main offices of the State Telephone Company (internet and telephone services), National Bank of Coxsackie's main branch office, and a growing group of active, small businesses. Reed Street is two blocks long and ends at Riverside Park with panoramic views of the Hudson River. A local developer has recently bought the decaying but historic buildings and warehouses along the river in order to re-develop them for new use.

They are a collection of mid-19th century, two and three story commercial buildings. The district displays a uniformity of style in its Italianate style brick facades with ornate brackets and overhanging eaves. It also includes three late Federal style residences.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Sleepy Hollow Lake is both a recreational lake and residential community (and census-designated place) in Greene County, New York, United States, located 120 miles north of New York City and 28 miles south of Albany in the Hudson River Valley. The lake is a two and one-half mile long, 324 acre, 70 foot deep man-made, Class “A” drinking water reservoir for the neighboring communities. The community is within the viewshed of the Taconic Mountains to the east and the Catskill Mountains to the west.
