Bronck Farm 13-Sided Barn is a historic barn located at Coxsackie in Greene County, New York. It was built about 1832 and is a 13 sided frame structure with a hipped roof surmounted by an octagonal cupola. It has an overall diameter of 70 feet and the one story interior is open in plan. It is related to, but listed separately from the Bronck House.It meets the definition of a round barn, as a polygon shape approaching circular. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Bronck House, also known as the Pieter Bronck House, is a historic house museum west of Coxsackie in Greene County, New York. With a construction history dating to 1663, it is believed to be the oldest surviving building in Upstate New York, and is a well-preserved example of early Dutch and Swedish Colonial architecture. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1967. It is now a museum property managed by the county historical society.

Peter Houghtaling Farm and Lime Kiln is a national historic district located at West Coxsackie in Greene County, New York. The district contains eight contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two contributing structures. The property includes a 1794 stone house, a well and smokehouse dated to about 1794, a 19th-century privy, three 19th-century barns, an early 20th-century equipment barn and chicken coop, and 19th-century burial ground. The lime kiln is constructed of battered walls of mortared rubble limestone. It was built between 1850 and 1880.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Rushmore Farm is a historic home located at Athens in Greene County, New York. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, six-bay-wide by two-bay-deep stone dwelling surmounted by a steep gable roof. It was built in two sections during the late 18th century and early 19th century and features an overlay of Greek Revival details. Also on the property is a contributing stone smokehouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The Greene Correctional Facility is a state prison for men located in Coxsackie, Greene County, New York, owned and operated by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.The facility opened in 1989 and holds 1582 inmates at medium security, which includes 171 held in a maximum security unit. Greene is adjacent to the state's Coxsackie Correctional Facility, originally built in 1935. Several incarcerated individuals have been killed by other inmates while in custody at this facility. Inmates at this facility are also responsible for numerous assaults on staff. Additionally, it was revealed that in 2016, prison guards instigated an attack on an inmate and covered it up.

Coxsackie ( kuuk-SAK-ee) is a town in Greene County, New York, United States. The population in the 2020 census was 8,382, a decrease from the 2010 census. The name of the town is said to be derived from a Native American term, but it has various translations ("owl's hoot" is locally common).Within the area governed as a town, there is also a village called Coxsackie. The town is in the northeastern part of the county. The town of Coxsackie is notable for being the namesake of the Coxsackievirus (a type of enterovirus), which was first isolated in this town.

Coxsackie is a village in Greene County, New York, United States. The population was 2,746 at the 2020 census.The village name comes from the native word mak-kachs-hack-ing. When the land was purchased by the Dutch settlers, the name was written as Koxhackung. It is generally translated as "Hoot-owl place" or "place of many owls" from an Algonquin word believed to mean "Place of Owls" or "Owl's Hoot". The village is in the eastern part of the town of Coxsackie along the Hudson River. The "downstreet," or downtown area, along Reed Street is home to a Post Office branch, a town Library (Heermance Memorial Library), the main offices of the State Telephone Company (internet and telephone services), National Bank of Coxsackie's main branch office, and a growing group of active, small businesses. Reed Street is two blocks long and ends at Riverside Park with panoramic views of the Hudson River. A local developer has recently bought the decaying but historic buildings and warehouses along the river in order to re-develop them for new use.
