Franklin Avenue Presbyterian Church (also known as North Presbyterian Church) is a historic church at 108 W. Grand River Avenue in Lansing, Michigan. It was built in 1916 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Brown-Price House is a former single-family home located at 1003 North Washington Avenue in Lansing, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. As of 2018, it was used as offices for a law firm.

The Smith–Turner House is an Italianate and Queen Anne-styled house located at 326 West Grand River Avenue in Lansing, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Dodge Mansion, also known as Turner-Dodge House, is a historic house in Lansing, Michigan that was built in 1855. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1972 as Dodge Mansion.The Turner-Dodge House is now a museum and historical center dedicated to Lansing's early pioneers. The house sits in the Classical Revival-styled Turner-Dodge Mansion, built in 1858 for James and Marion Turner, and later expanded by their daughter Abigail Turner-Dodge and her husband Frank Dodge at the turn of the century.

Saint Mary Church of Lansing was the first Catholic church built in Lansing, Michigan, as well as having the distinction of the first brick church edifice, brick parsonage and church bells in the city. It was part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. The church was dedicated in 1866 and served the parish until 1904. It was demolished in 1905 and eventually replaced by the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in 1913.

Lansing Community College is a public community college with its main campus in Lansing, Michigan. Founded in 1957, the college's main campus is located on an urban, 42-acre (0.17 km2) site in downtown Lansing spanning seven city blocks approximately two blocks from the state capitol. A West Campus opened in 2004 in Delta Township, southwest of Lansing. There is also an East Campus located in the Eyde Plaza in East Lansing. The school is the third largest community college in Michigan by enrollment, with a fall 2013 enrollment of 18,551, a decrease from 20,394 in 2008.

The Michigan School for the Blind (MSB) was a state-operated school for blind children in Michigan. Its former academic campus is at 715 W. Willow Street in Lansing, Michigan, and is now The Abigail, a senior apartment complex. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. For other portions of its history the school was in Flint.

Motor Wheel Lofts (formerly the Prudden Wheel Company Building or the Motor Wheel Corporation Building) is an apartment building converted from a former industrial building. It was listed it on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of metropolitan Archdiocese of Detroit. The mother church of the Diocese of Lansing is St. Mary's Cathedral in Lansing. As of 2023, the bishop of Lansing is Earl Boyea.
