The Entrance Bridge

The Entrance North (colloquially "North Entrance") is a coastal village in The Entrance District of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is at the end of a peninsula with Tuggerah Lake to the west and the Tasman Sea to the east. To the south is The Entrance Channel in which flows Tuggerah Lake and on the southern shore is The Entrance. Crossing the channel by foot or road is via The Entrance Bridge. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area.

The Entrance Ocean Pools is a heritage-listed swimming pool and beach located at Ocean Parade, The Entrance in the Central Coast local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The pools were built from 1938 to 1965 by the Erina Shire. It is also known as The Entrance Ocean Baths. The property is owned by the Central Coast Council and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 22 August 2003.

Tuggerah Lake, an intermittently open intermediate wave dominated barrier estuary that is part of the Tuggerah Lakes, is located within the Central Coast Council local government area in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The lake is located near Wyong and is situated about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Sydney.

Shelly Beach is considered one of the most popular surfing beaches on the Central Coast. Shelly Beach Golf Club (previously Tuggerah Lakes Gold Club) is an 18-hole golf course located at the eastern end of Shelly Beach Road, overlooking Shelly Beach. It was formally established in 1930, originally being located at Killarney Vale until 1954 when it moved to its present location. Within the suburb there is the Shelly Beach Surf Club and the Shelly Beach Fossils soccer club.

Killarney Vale is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located approximately 5 kilometres south of The Entrance. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The Entrance – Long Jetty hospital is located in Killarney Vale. It is a Community Health Centre of NSW Department of Health. It does not have an Accident or Emergency service. The hospital is located in buildings that were originally built as the club house for Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club. Killarney Vale contains two public primary schools. Wyong Road is the main road that runs through Killarney Vale linking The Entrance to Wyong. A second main road running along the south western edge is Eastern Road. Along Wyong Road, there are Killarney Vale shops which includes a small Coles supermarket. Originally a branch of the Newcastle value orientated Shoey's Food Barn chain, the supermarket was converted to a Bi-Lo and then most recently converted into a Coles supermarket. Previously sub-branches from The Entrance of Commonwealth Bank (where the cycle shop is currently located) and Westpac were located in the shopping area. Both banks have closed and been replaced by cash machines. As a local shopping area there is a pharmacy, medical, bakery, and other specialist retail. It was named after the town of Killarney in Ireland.

Chittaway Bay is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The main road through the suburb, Chittaway Road, has on it a four star motel, service station, and a shopping centre known as Chittaway Centre, it also has a pub called Chittaway Bay Tavern, but more commonly known to locals as "The Tav".

Tacoma is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Tacoma is located on the northern bank of the Wyong River where it opens up onto Tuggerah Lake. It has a general store, a school, Tacoma Public School and a Fishermans Co-operative. It is also the home of the Wyong Lakes Magpies Australian Football Club.
