Solarpark Finow Tower is located in Finowfurth, northeast of Berlin, Germany and is equipped with Suntech modules. The first phase of the project, FinowTower I (24.3 MW) was commissioned in 2010, and the second, FinowTower II (60.4 MW) in 2011.

Every summer since 2004, a two-day music festival called Inselleuchten takes place in Marienwerder in mid-July. From 2007 on the popular actor and musician Axel Prahl hosted it as presenter and figurehead. In 2016 Suzanne Vega gave a stage show here. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 festival was canceled and rescheduled to 2021.

The Forstbotanischer Garten Eberswalde (8 hectares) is a botanical garden and arboretum located at Am Zainhammer 5, Eberswalde, Brandenburg, Germany. It is open daily without charge. The garden was established in 1830 as part of the Royal Prussian Higher Forestry College by Friedrich Wilhelm Leopold Pfeil (1783-1859) with Wilhelm von Humboldt (1767-1835). By 1835 its plant list included more than 600 types of trees. Between 1868 and 1874, under the direction of Bernhard Danckelmann (1831-1901), the garden moved to its current location. It was severely damaged during World War II but restored in subsequent years. Today the garden contains over 1200 native and exotic trees and shrubs, with major sections including perennial flower beds; a root laboratory; alpine garden; African and East Asian gardens; trial garden; systematic garden; herb garden; and a Salicetum containing 230 types of willow trees. A special feature is the garden's geological trail highlighting representative crystalline sedimentary rocks deposited in this location by ice age glaciers.

Eberswalde Hauptbahnhof is historically the most important and now the only remaining station in the city of Eberswalde in the German state of Brandenburg. It was opened in the summer of 1842 outside the then city limits on the Berlin–Szczecin railway. The city fathers of Eberswalde did not want a modern railway in their city, so the station was built three kilometres west of the city centre in a wooded area where the Westend district is today.
