Laurel Homes Historic District is a registered historic district in Cincinnati, Ohio, listed in the National Register of Historic Places on May 19, 1987. It contained 29 contributing buildings. All but three of the historic low-income public housing projects was razed between 2000–02 to make way for new condominiums.

Taft Information Technology High School is a public high school located in the West End area of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Cincinnati Public Schools district (CPS).

Liberty Street is an abandoned and never used subway station of the Cincinnati Subway. The station is the subject to a legend of it being retrofitted to be a fallout shelter capable of holding the entire population of Cincinnati. Fencing and lights were installed during this time period. The station was planned in 1916, but lacked funding to complete.

West End is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, located northwest of downtown, east of Queensgate, west of Over-the-Rhine, and southeast of Fairview. The population was 6,627 at the 2010 census.The historic West End was largely razed in the 1950s as part of a series of urban renewal projects, including the construction of Interstate 75.The West End is the location of City West, the largest housing development project in Cincinnati since World War II. The project transformed the once low-income area into mixed-income development. In 1999 many of the blighted, cramped buildings were leveled to make way for new townhomes with ample parking. In 2007, part 1 crimes were down by 30% when compared to 1999.Controversy erupted in 2005 when plans were announced to open a $15-million "one-stop" social services facility at 800 Bank Street. The project, known as CityLink, would be the largest such facility in Cincinnati. Some argued that it would increase crime and poverty in the West End, decrease property value, and undermine the redevelopment there. Some even accused the city of trying to relocate the poor from the thriving Over-the-Rhine neighborhood to the West End. However, proponents argued that the West End's central location makes it easy for the poor to access. A lawsuit to stop the CityLink project failed, as did the subsequent appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court. CityLink Center has since launched in 2013, serving over 3,000 Cincinnati residents since that time including over 250 from the West End neighborhood. Individuals engage in the center to advance their lives holistically through the integrated support of over 14 on-site agencies. The development of CityLink Center has not resulted in crime, development has actually further continued, and property values have increased. The West End is served by a branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.TQL Stadium, the home stadium of Major League Soccer team FC Cincinnati, is located in the neighborhood.

Colored Industrial School of Cincinnati (also known McCall School and McCall Colored Industrial School) was a school for African Americans in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was established in 1914 at 724 W. Sixth Street.The school was established on property donated by Sallie J. McCall in her 1909 will. A trade school, courses included carpentry, masonry, cement work, automobile mechanics, driving, domestic science, dressmaking, and millinery. Through a $400,000 endowment McCall established, equivalent to $11,686,379 in 2022, the school did not charge tuition. Between 1914 and 1926 it had 600 graduates. In the 1930s it was relocated to 1301 John Street. Several years after Robert A. Taft Information Technology High School opened nearby, in 1962 Colored Industrial School of Cincinnati closed. Scholarships were established for African American students with the endowment's remaining funds.

The Betts House, built in 1804, is the oldest surviving building in Cincinnati and the oldest brick home in Ohio. This remarkable survivor of Cincinnati's period of settlement offers exhibits and programs that focus on Cincinnati history, historic preservation, and the built environment. In addition to be being a house museum, the Betts House is also the headquarters of The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Ohio.

Music Hall, commonly known as Cincinnati Music Hall, is a classical music performance hall in Cincinnati, Ohio, completed in 1878. It serves as the home for the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, May Festival Chorus, and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. In January 1975, it was recognized as a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior for its distinctive Venetian Gothic architecture. The building was designed with a dual purpose – to house musical activities in its central auditorium and industrial exhibitions in its side wings. It is located at 1241 Elm Street, across from the historic Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine, minutes from the center of the downtown area. Music Hall was built over a pauper's cemetery, which has helped fuel its reputation as one of the most haunted places in America.In June 2014, Music Hall was included on the National Trust for Historic Preservation's annual list of America's 11 most endangered historic places.

The Betts–Longworth Historic District is located just northwest of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The district consists of a ten-block sub-neighborhood of the historic West End of Cincinnati that contains Federal, Italianate and Queen Anne styles. The Betts House located at 416 Clark Street was built in 1804 and is the oldest brick house in Ohio. The Old Jewish Cemetery, Cincinnati is also located in the district. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 because of its architecture and because of a potential archaeological site within its boundaries.

The Old Jewish Cemetery (also known as the Chestnut Street Cemetery and Bene Israel Burying Ground) in Cincinnati, Ohio, is the oldest Jewish cemetery west of the Allegheny Mountains. Opened in 1821, it is located just northwest of Downtown Cincinnati in the Betts-Longworth Historic District. It is situated just west of Central Avenue on the north side of Chestnut Street, in the historic West End. The cemetery is sited on a tiny plot enclosed by high walls and a locked gate. In 1821, when Benjamin Lieb was dying, he begged to be buried as a Jew. Morris Moses and Joseph Jonas, two of Cincinnati's six Jews, purchased the lot for Cincinnati's first Jewish cemetery from Nicholas Longworth for $75.00, and then buried Lieb there. The cemetery has 85 graves and has been closed since 1849 after the cholera epidemic filled the cemetery.This cemetery is now part of Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati (JCGC), a non-profit organization that resulted in the merger of almost all of the 26 Jewish cemeteries in the area. JCGC is governed by a board which began as representatives of the former cemetery owners, but is morphing into a pure community-based board, on the recognition by its founders that the care of the graves of ancestors should be a function of the entire Jewish community. This merger solved the problem of caring for cemeteries created by synagogues and other organizations that no longer exist.

St. Paulus Kirche is a former German Evangelical Protestant church located at the corner of 15th and Race Streets in the Over-the-Rhine historic district of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is one block from the headquarters of 3CDC which are located in Saengerhalle. Built in 1850, it is the oldest surviving Protestant church in the city and the second oldest church in Cincinnati.

The Hamilton County Memorial Building, more commonly called Memorial Hall, is located at Elm & Grant Streets, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The building is next to Cincinnati's Music Hall and across from Washington Park in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. It was built by the Grand Army of the Republic and Hamilton County in 1908, as a memorial to the military of the city and county. The building was built in the Beaux-Arts style. The building, including the Annie W and Elizabeth M Anderson Theater, is used for 300+ events per year. Constructed according to a design by Samuel Hannaford and Sons, the Memorial Building was intended to commemorate members of all branches of the U.S. armed services, as well as the pioneers who had established the United States. The hall contains a 556-seat theater that was designed for speaking, but is also used as a venue for concerts, film screenings and theatrical events. The theater's small size produces a sense of intimacy among the audience, and its acoustics are exceptional: words spoken on stage in a normal voice can easily be understood even at the back of the balcony.In late 1978, the Memorial Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, qualifying for inclusion both because of its architecture and because of its place in the area's history. Its location on Washington Park places it in the historic district that embraces most of Over-the-Rhine, which was added to the Register five years after the Memorial Building was individually added.An $11 million renovation to the building was completed in December 2016 and allowed for the preservation of its historic character. Additionally, extensive improvements have been made to increase audience and performer comfort, modernize amenities, and enhance performances. The renovations include new, larger restroom facilities, a new HVAC system to accommodate year-round events, new and more comfortable seating, the addition of a contemporary catering kitchen and backstage crossover space for performers. Lastly, the acquisition of new equipment, audio/visual components, and technology to ensure the best possible event experience.

The Apostolic Bethlehem Temple Church is a historic church building in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. A German Gothic Revival structure built in 1868, it was constructed as the home of the German Evangelical and Reformed Church, Cincinnati's oldest German Reformed Church. Founded in 1814, the church changed its name to "St. John's German Protestant Church" in 1874, although it remained in the German Reformed Church. This situation continued until 1924, when it departed for the American Unitarian Association and changed its name to "St. John's Unitarian Church." Little more than twenty years later, the congregation abandoned its old building, leaving it vacant until it was purchased by the present owners, a Pentecostal church.The church building is a rectangular two-story structure facing to the east. Worshippers enter through doors in a prominent tower that occupies the center of the façade. Such a tower is characteristic of the German Gothic churches that this church was built to emulate, as are the transepts on either side of the tower.Located at 1205 Elm Street, the church lies on the edge of the city's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Among the properties surrounding it are Music Hall, located at 1243 Elm Street, and a community park whose southwestern corner lies on the other side of Elm Street. In 1973, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its place in local history and because of its distinctive and well-preserved historic architecture. Ten years later, most of Over-the-Rhine was added to the Register as a historic district, and the Apostolic Bethlehem Temple Church qualified as one of its hundreds of contributing properties.
