360 Market Square

Market Square Arena was an indoor arena in Indianapolis. Completed in 1974, at a cost of $23 million, it seated 16,530 for basketball and 15,993 for ice hockey. Seating capacity for concerts and other events was adjusted by the use of large curtains which sealed off the upper rows. The arena closed down in 1999 and was demolished two years later.

The Cadle Tabernacle was a church established in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1921 by its founder, E. Howard Cadle. Named in honor of Cadle's mother, Loretta "Etta" Cadle, the building served as a center for evangelical programs and broadcasts on the Cincinnati, Ohio, radio station WLW in the 1930s, reaching listeners throughout the Midwest and parts of the South. The building's seating capacity of 10,000 made it the largest of its kind in the United States when it was built. Cadle Tabernacle was demolished in 1968 and the site was used for other purposes.

Old Indianapolis City Hall, formerly known as the Indiana State Museum, is a historic city hall located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1909–1910, and is a four-story, Classical Revival style brick building sheathed in Indiana limestone. It measures 188 by 133 feet (57 by 41 m).: 2–4 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Indianapolis City Market is a historic public market located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was founded in 1821 and officially opened in its current facility in 1886. The market building is a one-story, rectangular brick building trimmed in limestone. It has a front gable center section flanked by square towers. While it was originally a farmers market, it is now a food hall. The Indianapolis City Market also hosted some events for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. The market was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.On June 15, 2022, the city of Indianapolis announced plans to replace the east wing of the market that had been added in the 1980s with an 11-story, 60-unit apartment building that includes 8,000 square feet (740 m2) of office space and 22,000 square feet (2,000 m2) of retail space. The $175 million project will also include converting the office building at 151 N. Delaware Street into a 350-unit multi-family housing tower and would result in the block having the highest population density in the state of Indiana.

The Harriett was a historic apartment building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built about 1905, and was a three-story, U-shaped, Classical Revival style yellow brick and grey limestone building.: Part 2, p. 14–15  It has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and delisted in 2011.

Indianapolis Fire Headquarters and Municipal Garage is a historic fire station and garage located at Indianapolis, Indiana. The Fire Headquarters was built in 1913 for the Indianapolis Fire Department, and is a three-story, Classical Revival style orange-brown glazed brick building with limestone detailing. It sits on a concrete foundation and has a square brick parapet. The Classical Revival style Municipal Garage was built in 1913, and expanded in 1925 with two Tudor Revival style additions.: 5–8 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Heier's Hotel is a historic hotel building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1915–1916, and is a three-story, five-bay, brick building. It features two tall brick piers and terra cotta cornice-like projecting elements. The building houses commercial storefronts on the first floor.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Jackson Buildings, also known as the Standard Grocery/Capital Furnace, were two historic commercial buildings located at Indianapolis, Indiana. One was a four-story brick building built about 1882–83, and the other, a five-story building built about 1923. The older building exhibited Italianate and Beaux-Arts style design elements. The buildings housed a variety of commercial enterprises, including the Standard Grocery Company.: 2–3  The two buildings were demolished and replaced by a bank building. The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and delisted in 1993.

The City–County Building is a 28-story building at 200 East Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, that houses the offices of the consolidated city-county government of Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana, known as Unigov.

The Julia M. Carson Transit Center is the hub for public transit in Indianapolis, Indiana. Opened in 2016, it is sited in downtown Indianapolis at 201 East Washington Street and is near the Cultural Trail and YMCA Bike Hub. The center received awards for "Excellence in Built Environment" at the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce's Monumental Awards ceremony in 2017.A waiting pavilion and IndyGo services center comprise the northeastern portion of the facility. The center is named after Julia M. Carson, a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1997 until her death in 2007.

Tomlinson Hall was a public meeting hall in Indianapolis, Indiana, on the northeast corner of Market and Delaware streets adjacent to the Indianapolis City Market. It hosted a variety of public events from 1886 until January 30, 1958, when it was destroyed in a fire. The building was named for Stephen D. Tomlinson, an Indianapolis druggist, whose will had bequeathed the money to build it.

The Indianapolis Catacombs are approximately 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) of underground passageways on the northeast corner of Market and Delaware streets in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.The passages and walkways include brick archways and limestone columns that were part of Tomlinson Hall, a building that opened in 1886 and was destroyed by fire in 1958. Tomlinson Hall was a public auditorium located immediately west of the Indianapolis City Market. The catacombs served as a more convenient way to transport and store goods from the above-ground marketplace and contains pits used to store ice. Indiana Landmarks offers 30-minute tours on various Saturdays during the year.
