Horb station

Horb am Neckar is a town in the southwest of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is located on the Neckar river, between Offenburg to the west (about 56 kilometres (35 mi) away) and Tübingen to the east (about 29 kilometres (18 mi) away). It has around 25,000 inhabitants, of whom about 6,000 live in the main town of Horb, and the remainder in 18 associated villages and districts which form part of the same municipality. If the entire municipality is counted, it is the largest town in the District of Freudenstadt. Since 1 January 1981 Horb am Neckar has had the status of a Große Kreisstadt, serving as a mid-sized center within the Northern Black Forest Region of the Karlsruhe Administrative Region. It also belongs to the "Cooperative Zone" of the Stuttgart Metropolitan Region. Horb am Neckar operates a combined administration with the neighbouring communities of Empfingen and Eutingen im Gäu.

Empfingen is a municipality in the district Freudenstadt in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. Empfingen itself comprises two local districts, Wiesenstetten and Dommelsberg. Empfingen is close to the federal motorway 81 Stuttgart – Singen (A 81).

Glatt (in its upper course: Kübelbach) is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. On its shore is the village Glatt, known for its watercastle. It ends in the territory of Horb am Neckar in the Neckar river.

Mühringen is a district of Horb am Neckar. The village is located approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from the main town and stretches from the valley of the Eyach at an altitude of 401 metres (1,316 ft) above sea level up to the hill of Castle Hohenmühringen. Mühringen has about 1,000 inhabitants. There is a railway station of the Hohenzollerische Landesbahn in the valley; Mühringen is a station of a German Camino de Santiago.

Eutingen is a municipality in the district of Freudenstadt in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany.

The Neckar Viaduct at Weitingen is a bridge that crosses the valley of the River Neckar, near the town Horb am Neckar. The bridge is an important part of motorway A81's section Stuttgart - Singen.

Eyach is a river of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It flows for 50 kilometres. It is a right tributary of the Neckar. It passes through Balingen and Haigerloch, and flows into the Neckar near Starzach.

Haiterbach is a town in the district of Calw, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Sulz am Neckar is a town in the district of Rottweil, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated on the river Neckar, 22 km north of Rottweil, and 19 km southeast of Freudenstadt. Sulz am Neckar came in the possession of the Hohengeroldseck in AD 1242. At Sulz a powerline for traction current crosses the Neckar Valley in a large span, which is mounted on two 61-metre-tall electricity pylons.

Eutingen im Gäu station is located in the town of Eutingen im Gäu in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is at the junction of the Plochingen–Immendingen railway, connecting Stuttgart and Singen, and the Eutingen im Gäu–Schiltach railway, connecting Eutingen and Freudenstadt.

Baisingen is a suburban district of Rottenburg am Neckar in the administrative district of Tübingen in Baden-Württemberg (Germany).
