Watson Island

Jungle Island, formerly Parrot Jungle, is a relaunched eco-adventure park on Watson Island, Miami, Florida, United States. The park is re-opened following a series of major renovations after the park incurred damage from Hurricane Irma. The park features new pop-up waterslides, an outdoor wind tunnel flight experience, zip lines, escape rooms, a Nerf battle stadium and other attractions. Originally named Parrot Jungle, it was moved from its original suburban location in Pinecrest, Florida to its present location just east of downtown Miami and after the site was purchased for Pinecrest Gardens in 2002. It was renamed as Parrot Jungle Island. In 2007, the park was again renamed to Jungle Island.

As of 2023, Royal Caribbean Group fully owns three cruise lines: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea Cruises. They also hold a 50% stake in TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

The Venetian Marina & Yacht Club is a full-service marina located in Downtown Miami's Arts & Entertainment District, Florida, United States. It is located north of the Venetian Causeway on Biscayne Bay. Until 2014 it was one of three venues that previously hosted the Miami International Boat Show.

The Miami International Boat Show is an annual event in February, produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association in Miami, Florida, United States. It had previously been held in three separate venues; two in Downtown Miami, and the other in Miami Beach. In 2016 through 2021 it was held at Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin on Virginia Key, while Strictly Sail remained at Miamarina at Bayside Marketplace Marina. Over 1,700 companies that are NMMA members, produce more than 80% of the marine products used by recreational boaters and anglers in the United States. The North American pleasure boat market represents fully half of the global demand for these products and services, roughly $39.5 billion annually in just the United States alone.

On May 26, 2012, Rudy Eugene attacked and maimed Ronald Poppo, a homeless man, on the MacArthur Causeway in Miami, Florida, U.S. During the 18-minute filmed encounter, Eugene accused Poppo of stealing his Bible, beat him unconscious, removed Poppo's pants (trousers), and bit off most of Poppo's face above his beard (including his left eye), leaving him blind in both eyes. As a result of the incident's shocking nature and subsequent worldwide media coverage, Eugene came to be dubbed the "Miami Zombie" and the "Causeway Cannibal". The attack ended when Eugene was fatally shot by an officer of the Miami Police Department. Although friends and family filled in details of Eugene's life, the reason for the attack remains unclear. Eugene, 31, employed at a car wash at the time, was divorced and had a series of petty criminal arrests from age 16, with the last in 2009. While police sources speculated that the use of a street drug like "bath salts" might have been a factor, experts expressed doubt, since toxicology reports were only able to identify small amounts of marijuana in Eugene's system, leaving the ultimate cause of his behavior unknown. Poppo, 65, a graduate of Manhattan's Stuyvesant High School, was homeless and had long been presumed dead by his estranged family.

Ultra Music Festival (UMF) is an annual outdoor electronic music festival that takes place during March in Miami, Florida, United States. The festival was founded in 1999 by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. It was first held on Miami Beach, but besides a tenure at Bicentennial Park, and briefly being held at Virginia Key in 2019, it has primarily been held at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. It was a two-day festival from 1998 to 2006.Since 2011, Ultra has taken place across three days (Friday through Sunday) during the month of March. In 2012, it had a record attendance, of 155,000 people at the Ultra Main Stage. In 2013, the festival took place across two consecutive weekends to celebrate its 15th anniversary, with a combined attendance of 330,000 people. In 2014, the festival returned to its original single-weekend format, selling out pre-sale tickets in under five minutes. The city of Miami has estimated that since 2012, Ultra has "generated approximately $995 million of economic impact", with $168 million in 2018 alone. The festival was suspended in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but resumed in 2022. The festival is held alongside the Winter Music Conference—an event focusing on the electronic music industry (which was acquired by Ultra outright in 2018), and Miami Music Week—a larger program of electronic music concerts and parties held across the region, with both events usually leading into Ultra.Although they share names, Ultra Music Festival was not directly tied to Ultra Records, an electronic music record label. However, the two entities did announce a "global alliance" in August 2012, which would allow them to collaborate on marketing and cross-promotion.Alongside the flagship event in Miami, Ultra has spawned a larger series of international franchises under the blanket branding Ultra Worldwide, which have included locations such as Croatia, South Africa, South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and others.

Maurice A. Ferré Park (formerly Museum Park) is a 30-acre (0.12 km2) public, urban park in downtown Miami, Florida. The park opened in 1976 on the site of several slips served by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad. It was originally named "Bicentennial Park" to celebrate the bicentennial of the United States in that same year. Today, the park is maintained by the Bayfront Park Management Trust. The park is bordered on the north by I-395, Metromover, and the former Miami Herald headquarters, on the south by the American Airlines Arena and Bayside Marketplace, on the west by Biscayne Boulevard and on the east by Biscayne Bay.

The Episcopal Diocese of South Florida was a diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America, which was created in 1922 out of what had been the Missionary Jurisdiction of Southern Florida, sometimes called the Missionary District of Southern Florida. which had been split off in 1892 from the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. Its northern line was the southern boundaries of the counties of Levy. Alachua, Putnam and St. Johns. and covered the southern two-thirds of the Florida peninsula. Its see city was Orlando, Florida. In 1969, it was divided into three new dioceses as follows: the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida with its see at Orlando, the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida with its see at Miami and the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida, with its see at St. Petersburg.

The Episcopal Church in Southeast Florida is a diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America (ECUSA) which extends from Key West, Florida on the south, to Jensen Beach on the north and inland to Clewiston on the west. Major cities in the diocese are Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The diocese takes in all of Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, and Martin County, along with the Florida Keys portion of Monroe County and the eastern part of Hendry County. The diocese is a part of Province IV of the Episcopal Church. The current diocesan bishop of Southeast Florida is Peter Eaton. The cathedral church of the diocese is Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Miami. The diocese currently comprises 83 churches. The philanthropic outreach arm of the Episcopal Church in Southeast Florida is Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida.

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (formerly known as the Miami Science Museum or Miami Science Museum and Space Transit Planetarium) is a science museum, planetarium, and aquarium located in Miami, Florida, United States. The museum originally opened its Coconut Grove location across from Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in 1960. It relocated to Museum Park in the downtown area adjacent to the Perez Art Museum Miami in 2017 after the closing of the Coconut Grove location in 2015.

Museum Park is a Metromover station located on the southeast corner of Biscayne Boulevard and I-395 in Miami, Florida. Originally opened as Bicentennial Park in 1994 and closed in 1996, the station reopened with the completion of the Pérez Art Museum Miami at the newly renamed eponymous park in 2013. The station is located near the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard (US 1) and Northeast 11th Street, adjacent to the MacArthur Causeway (I-395/Florida A1A).

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Miami, Florida is the cathedral church of the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida. It is located at North Bayshore Drive a short distance north of the Venetian Causeway, near the Carnival Center in Miami (464 NE 16th Street, 33132). On October 10, 1980, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
