Chiselborough is a village in the South Somerset district of Somerset, England. It is situated on the River Parrett, 5 miles (8 km) west of Yeovil, and has a population of 275.The village consists largely of small cottages built in the local golden hamstone quarried at the local Ham Hill.

The village has a population of 743.The village of Chiselborough is 0.5 miles (0.8 km) to the south, and the village of Stoke-sub-Hamdon 1 mile (1.6 km) to the north.

The Church of St Mary the Virgin in Norton Sub Hamdon, Somerset, England, has 13th-century origins but was rebuilt around 1510. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building.Restoration was undertaken by Henry Wilson in 1894 and again in 1904. The five-stage tower, dating from around 1485, which rises 98.5 feet (30 m) was damaged by lightning and fire on 29 July 1894, but restored within a year preserving the original design. It has a double plinth, offset corner buttresses, dividing strings, battlemented parapet with pairs of corner pinnacles extended from buttresses, and central paired pinnacles corbelled off gargoyles.The dovecote in the churchyard dates from the 17th century, and was associated with a manor house which was demolished around 1850.Former leader of the Liberal Democrats and High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Paddy Ashdown is buried in the church's cemetery.

West Chinnock is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of West and Middle Chinnock, in the Somerset district, in the ceremonial county of Somerset, England. It is 4 miles (6.4 km) north east of Crewkerne. It occupies a central position east of the road that links Crewkerne to the A303 road and is mainly south of a brook that feeds nearby into the Parrett. The village forms the civil parish of West and Middle Chinnock with the neighbouring village of Middle Chinnock. The parish has a population of 592 (2011 census).West Chinnock was a separate civil parish until 1884. It then absorbed the parish of Middle Chinnock. In 2003 the parish was renamed West and Middle Chinnock. In 1881 the parish (prior to the merge) had a population of 418.

The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Church of England church in West Chinnock, Somerset, England. It has 13th-century origins but was largely rebuilt in 1889–90 to the design of Charles Kirk. It is a Grade II listed building and now forms part of the Ham Hill Churches Benefice.

Middle Chinnock is a village in the civil parish of West and Middle Chinnock, in Somerset, England, 3 miles (4.8 km) north east of Crewkerne. It lies 0.3 miles (0.5 km) east of the larger village of West Chinnock. In 1881 the parish had a population of 150. Middle Chinnock was an ancient parish, which became a civil parish in 1866. The civil parish was abolished on 25 March 1885 and absorbed into the parish of West Chinnock. In 2003 the parish was renamed West and Middle Chinnock.

Ham Hill Hillfort is an Iron Age hillfort located on Ham Hill, Somerset, England. It was also occupied during the mesolithic and neolithic periods and later during Roman and medieval eras. The fort is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and the whole of the hill is a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest, a country park operated by South Somerset Council, and is visited by over 250,000 people each year.It covers an area of 210 acres (85 ha), making it one of the largest hillforts in Britain. It is the only one with a public house in its interior.

Stoke-sub-Hamdon (or Stoke sub Hamdon), also known as Stoke under Ham, is a large village and civil parish in the South Somerset district of Somerset, England. It is situated 5 miles (8 km) west of Yeovil, with which it is linked by the A3088 road. The parish is located near the River Parrett, and includes the village of East Stoke.

Stoke sub Hamdon Priory is a complex of buildings and ruins which initially formed a 14th-century college for the chantry chapel of St Nicholas, and later was the site of a farm in Stoke-sub-Hamdon, Somerset, England. The only building remaining from the college is a great hall and attached dwelling, dating from the late 15th century. The hall is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building, while the outbuildings and gateway are Grade II listed. The whole site has been scheduled as an ancient monument. A number of the farm buildings are in poor condition, and have been added to the Heritage at Risk Register. The college was formed in 1304 as a chantry college, funded by John de Beauchamp, 1st Baron Beauchamp to serve the free chapel in his nearby manor house. Over the following 150 years, the college fell into disrepair and was rebuilt around 1460. During the dissolution, the land passed into the laity, and was a tenanted farm until the middle of the 20th century. The National Trust bought the property in 1946, and with the exception of the part of the house which is inhabited, the site is now open to the public. Despite being known as "The Priory", or "Stoke sub Hamdon Priory", the building has never been used as a priory, and there is no record of a monastic house in Stoke sub Hamdon.
