Memphrémagog (French pronunciation: [mɛmfʁemaɡɔɡ]) is a regional county municipality in the Estrie region of Quebec, Canada.

Magog (locally MAY-gawg; French: [maɡɔɡ]) is a city in southeastern Quebec, Canada, about 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of Montreal at the confluence of Lake Memphremagog—after which the city was named—with the Rivière aux Cerises and the Magog River. It is a major centre and industrial city in the Regional County Municipality of Memphremagog. The city lies in the Eastern Townships tourist region. In 2002, the City of Magog was merged with the Township of Magog and the Village of Omerville as part of the municipal reorganization in Quebec.

Le Vieux Clocher de Magog (lit. 'The Old Bell Tower of Magog') is a performance venue on Merry Street in Magog, Canada. Housed in a former church, it is a recognized cultural venue for the presentation of music, comedy, and storytelling shows.

Orford is a provincial electoral district in the Estrie region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It notably includes the municipalities of Magog, Orford, Stanstead and Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley. It was created for the 1973 election from parts of the Shefford, Sherbrooke and Stanstead electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it lost the part of western Sherbrooke that it formerly had to the Richmond electoral district and the municipalities of Barnston-Ouest and Stanstead-Est to the Saint-François electoral district. However, it gained a number of municipalities from Brome-Missisquoi.

The Cherry River or Rivière aux Cerises is a river in Magog, Quebec that is part of the Lake Memphremagog watershed. This river flows through the cities Orford, then Magog, in the Memphremagog Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Estrie, in Quebec, in Canada. The river was flooded by the creation of dams in the late 19th century, creating a permanent wetland around it.

Lake Lovering (French: Lac Lovering) is a lake located in the Memphrémagog Regional County Municipality of the Estrie region of Quebec, Canada. It is located south of the city of Magog. Lake Lovering is 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) long by 0.75 kilometres (0.47 mi) wide. It has a surface area of 4.6 square kilometres (1.8 sq mi) and an average depth of 25 metres (82 ft). It is situated at an elevation of 243 metres (797 ft). In 1970 concerned landowners created an organization, la Société de conservation du lac Lovering, in response to the consequences of rapid residential urbanization of the lake shore. Its goal is to raise awareness of the hazards to the lake to local residents and authorities.

Boisé-Fabi, officially named Boisé-Fabi Park, is an urban natural space located in the borough of Rock Forest–Saint-Élie–Deauville, in Sherbrooke, Quebec. It covers approximately 13 protected hectares within a developing residential area surrounding it.

Rock Forest–Saint-Élie–Deauville is an arrondissement, or borough, of the city of Sherbrooke, Quebec. The borough comprises the formerly independent cities of Rock Forest, Deauville and Saint-Élie-d'Orford, which were annexed into the city of Sherbrooke on January 1, 2002. The borough had a population of 35,500 in 2009.

Université de Sherbrooke Stadium (Stade de l'Université de Sherbrooke) is a multi-purpose stadium at the Université de Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec. It is home to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or track and field, soccer, and football teams. It was built in 2003, and has a fixed seating capacity of 3,359. The stadium hosted the 2003 World Youth Championships in Athletics.

CKOY-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Owned and operated by Cogeco, it broadcasts on 107.7 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 11,000 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 25,000 watts (class C1). The station's transmitter is located at Mount Bellevue. The station identifies itself as "107,7 FM" and is one of the few full-time FM talk stations in North America to broadcast in stereo.

The Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS; English: University of Sherbrooke) is a French-language public research university in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, with a second campus in Longueuil, a suburb on the South Shore of Montreal. It is one of two universities in the Estrie region of Quebec (the other one being Bishop's University), and the only French-language university for the region. As of 2022, the Université de Sherbrooke is home to 31,000 students, and an additional 3,000 older learners (age 50+) in continuing education in its "University of the Third Age". Of its 7,400 employees, about 4,000 are teaching staff. The university has over 100,000 graduates and offers 46 undergraduate, 48 master's and 27 doctoral programs. It holds a total of 61 research chairs, among which are the pharmacology, microelectronics, statistical learning, and environment research chairs.
