Ratchaprarop Station (Thai: สถานีราชปรารภ) is an Airport Rail Link station on the Ratchaprarop Road. In the future, it will become an interchange station for the MRT Orange Line at Ratchaprarop MRT Station. The station serves the Pratunam area. Ratchaprarop was a railway halt on the Eastern Line of the State Railway of Thailand but this has been closed.

Ratchaprarop Road (Thai: ถนนราชปรารภ) is a major road in the Ratchathewi District of Bangkok, Thailand. It begins at the Phetchaburi intersection, where it connects with Phetchaburi Road, and extends northward to join Phaya Thai Road near the Victory Monument. The road serves as links Bangkok’s central commercial areas and transportation hubs, passing through the Pratunam district, known for its shopping and wholesale garment trade. Prominent landmarks along Ratchaprarop Road include Baiyoke Tower II, one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok and Southeast Asia, as well as Pratunam Market and numerous hotels and retail centers. The road is also served by the Ratchaprarop Airport Rail Link Station, provides access to Suvarnabhumi Airport and other parts of the city. In addition, the MRT Orange Line is currently under construction and will include a Ratchaprarop station, further enhancing connectivity and easing traffic congestion in the area once completed.

Baiyoke Tower II (Thai: อาคารใบหยก 2, RTGS: Akhan Baiyok Song, pronounced [ʔāː.kʰāːn bāj.jòk sɔ̌ːŋ]) is an 88-story, 309 m (1,014 ft) skyscraper hotel at 222 Ratchaprarop Road in the Ratchathewi District of Bangkok, Thailand. It is the fourth tallest building in the city, after MahaNakhon and Magnolias Waterfront Residences at ICONSIAM. The building comprises the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest hotel in Southeast Asia and the seventh-tallest all-hotel structure in the world.With the antenna included, the building's height is 328.4 m (1,077 ft), and features a public observatory on the 77th floor, a bar called "Roof Top Bar & Music Lounge" on the 83rd floor, a 360-degree revolving roof deck on the 84th floor and the hotel offers 673 guest rooms. Construction on the building ended in 1997, with the antenna being added two years later. The Baiyoke Sky Hotel website notes the height without the antenna as 309 m (1,014 ft), while other sources note it as 304 m (997 ft).

Soi Mo Leng (Thai: ซอยหมอเหล็ง, pronounced [sɔːj mɔ̌ː léŋ]), officially known as Soi Ratchaphan (ซอยรัชฏภัณฑ์, [sɔːj rát.t͡ɕʰa.tà.pʰan]), is more widely recognized by its informal name, Soi Mo Leng. It is a side street off Ratchaprarop Road, located in Makkasan Subdistrict, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, near the Victory Monument. At present, the Si Rat Expressway runs overhead along this area.

Suan Pakkad Palace or Suan Pakkard Palace (Thai: สวนผักกาด, RTGS: Suan Phak Kat, pronounced [sǔan pʰàk kàːt]) is a museum in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located on Sri Ayutthaya Road, south of the Victory Monument. The museum has Thai antiques on display, including Ban Chiang pottery over 4,000 years old. Originally the home of Prince Chumbhotbongs Paribatra and his wife, they converted it into a museum which opened in 1952. The museum features a group of four traditional Thai houses with covered hallways between them. There is also artwork on display in its Marsi Gallery. The name Suan Pakkad translates as "Cabbage Patch", but the museum's collection of five traditional pavilions is one of the best examples of traditional domestic architecture in the city. The Lacquer Pavilion is the most striking building, and is over 450 years old.

Pratunam Market (Thai: ประตูน้ำ) is one of Bangkok's major markets, and is Thailand's largest clothing market. The name Pratunam means 'water gate'.

Makkasan railway station is a railway station in Makkasan Subdistrict, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok. It is a class 1 railway station 5.171 km (3.2 mi) from Bangkok railway station. The station opened in January 1908 as part of the Eastern Line Bangkok–Chachoengsao Junction section. It is the location of the Makkasan Depot, which opened in 1897 when the railway started operations. Makkasan Depot was destroyed during the Second World War, and was rebuilt using loans from the World Bank. Despite not having official status as a junction, a freight-only branch line to Mae Nam station, Bangkok Port, and the Bang Chak Oil Refinery branches off from here. A few container and oil trains use the line daily. Although Makkasan station (Airport Rail Link), shares the same name as Makkasan railway station, it is at a different location; the Airport Rail Link station is east of this station, and is instead located on top of Asok Halt. Furthermore, the Airport Rail Link does not stop at this station, although it does pass through its own elevated viaduct running parallel to the SRT Eastern Line. The closest stations to the Airport Rail Link are at Phaya Thai and Asok Halt.

Bangkok Doll Museum is a museum in Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, Thailand. The Bangkok Dolls Museum was established in 1957 by Khunying Thongkorn Chanthawimol, who was a renowned doll maker who trained in the Ozawa Doll School, in Tokyo, Japan. The museum has a collection of more than 400 Thai handmade dolls and the museum is recognised internationally, being the recipient of the first prize at the International Folklore Dolls Competition in Kraków, Poland in 1978.Although the museum displays thematic aspects of rural life in Thailand, the hill tribes of northern Thailand, and traditional costumes from Thailand, there is a section covering traditional costumes from all over the world include Central European countries such as Poland, Russia, Hungary and Greece.One of the main highlights of the museum is the doll collection of characters in the Khon dance drama based on the Ramakien which depict the forces of good and the forces of evil. Miniature Khon masks are also on display.

Palladium Square (Thai: พัลลาเดียม สแควร์) is a shopping mall currently under redevelopment in Ratchathewi district, Bangkok, Thailand. It was formerly known as "Pratunam Center".

Pratunam, written as Pratu Nam (Thai: ประตูน้ำ, pronounced [prātūːnáːm]), is an intersection and neighborhood in Bangkok. It is located in Thanon Phaya Thai sub-district, Ratchathewi district. It is the intersection of Phetchaburi, Ratchadamri and Ratchaprarop roads. The next intersection on Ratchaprarop side is Makkasan. The term "Pratunam" means "water gate", as at one time there was a water gate within nearby Sa Pathum Palace, which commonly was known as Pratunam Wang Sa Pathum or Pratunam Sa Pathum (ประตูน้ำวังสระปทุม, ประตูน้ำสระปทุม). This water gate was built by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) in the year 1905 to drain water from the Khlong Saen Saep (Saen Saep canal) to distribute to the people, both for agriculture, and water levelling for boating and rafting. There are two other water gates in Chachoengsao province which were built in the same period.Currently, Pratunam is widely known as a prominent shopping district. There are many shopping centers and department stores in the area such as Platinum Fashion Mall, Pratunam Market, CentralWorld, Big C Supercenter (Big C Rajdamri), etc. In addition, it is also one of the most important transportation routes in Bangkok. It is close to two other important intersections viz Ratchaprasong and Pathum Wan, and is also a pier for Khlong Saen Saep boat service.

The Platinum Fashion Mall is a five billion baht (100 million euro) shopping mall in Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand, which specializes in fashion clothes and accessories retail and wholesale. It is a six-storey complex with an 11-storey condominium building above the complex. The mall is located on Phetchaburi Road, next to Pantip Plaza and opposite Pratunam Complex, a 14-storey mall. It is also near CentralWorld. Platinum 2, on the grounds next to Platinum 1, was completed in March 2011. Platinum Fashion Mall consists of 7 floors of shopping floors (named from basement floor- Ginza, Soho, Oxford, Nathan, Camden, Orchard and Food Center).

Sam Liam Din Daeng or Din Daeng Junction (Thai: สามเหลี่ยมดินแดง, แยกดินแดง) is a road junction in the area of Thanon Phaya Thai Subdistrict, Ratchathewi District in downtown Bangkok. It is a three-way junction of Ratchawithi Road, Ratchaprarop Road and Din Daeng Road, being considered the beginning of the former two. The name of the junction refers to its triangular shape (sam liam, สามเหลี่ยม is Thai for triangle). On top of the junction is an overpass linking Ratchawithi Road and the nearby Victory Monument zone. It is often confused with the similarly-named next junction, Tai Duan Din Daeng Junction (Thai: แยกใต้ด่วนดินแดง) in Din Daeng District, where Din Daeng Road meets Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. Tai Duan Din Daeng features both an overpass and a tunnel. Sam Liam Din Daeng is usually one of the areas with the highest amount of traffic violations in Bangkok. in May 2018, CCTV was installed here along with other 14 intersections where traffic violations were high. On the second day after the installation, there were 3,524 offenders.
