Charles Berry Bridge

Eagles Building is a building in Lorain, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The building has a concrete frame, which was the result of a steel shortage due to World War I.

In the town of Lorain, Ohio, located just west of Cleveland, the 1,720-seat Lorain Palace Theatre first opened in 1928. It was the first motion picture theater in Ohio to show a talking motion picture. The opening night film, and first talky played in Ohio was a pre-release of Paramount’s "Something Always Happens" starring Neil Hamilton and Esther Ralston. Today it serves as a community Civic Center, movie theatre, meeting place and entertainment facility. The crystal chandelier, Wurlitzer pipe organ (one of only four remaining in theaters across Ohio), and two spacious loges are just some of the features which made this building worthy of being preserved.

The Lorain Fire Station No. 1, at 605 W. Fourth St. in Lorain, Ohio, was built in 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.It was built after a fire killed four persons, including a woman and two children.

Antlers Hotel is a historic hotel building in Lorain, Ohio, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places November 30, 1982.

Lorain High School is part of Lorain City School District in Lorain, Ohio and was founded in 1876, beginning as a two-year high school course. In 1879, the first graduating class consisted of three members. By 1883, the high school curriculum was expanded to three years and in 1889, it was expanded to four years. In 1995, Lorain High School was closed and became Lorain Middle School, which was later closed in 2005. In the fall of 2010, following the merger of Lorain Admiral King High School and Lorain Southview High School, Lorain High School reopened as the Lorain High School Titans, with navy blue and silver as their colors and operated in the former Lorain Southview High School building as construction began for the new building. The all new Lorain High School complex opened in 2016.

The Lorain West Breakwater Light, also called the Lorain Harbor Light, is a lighthouse in Lorain, Ohio, United States. The light was built in 1917 on Lake Erie by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. It was taken out of service in 1965 when it was replaced by an automated lighttower on a nearby breakwater. The light was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Lofton Henderson Memorial Bridge (formerly, 21st Street Bridge) is a cantilever truss bridge that carries Ohio State Route 611 (Henderson Drive) over the Black River in Lorain County, Ohio.The High-Level Bridge was proposed in 1937 as a bypass to the notoriously congested Erie Avenue swing bridge. Designed by Wilbur J. Watson & Associates of Cleveland and constructed by the American Bridge Company, it opened in conjunction with the new Erie Avenue bascule bridge on September 26, 1940. The High-Level Bridge was named for Lofton Henderson in October 1991.

Lorain () is a city in Lorain County, Ohio, United States. It is located in Northeast Ohio on Lake Erie at the mouth of the Black River, about 25 miles (40 km) miles west of Cleveland. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 65,211, making it Ohio's ninth-largest city, the third-largest in Greater Cleveland, and the largest in Lorain County by population.

The county was physically established in 1822, becoming judicially independent in 1824. Lorain County is part of the Cleveland-Elyria, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county is home to Oberlin College.

Lorain Catholic High School was a private Catholic high school located in Lorain, Ohio, 30 miles west of Cleveland. It was run by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland until 2001. Lorain Catholic then was governed by an independent board of directors until its closure in 2004.

St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church was a historic church at 2908 Wood Avenue in Lorain, Ohio.It was built in 1904 and added to the National Register in 1982. The church was closed in 2010 along with other local churches as part of a "reconfiguration" by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. Statues from the church were restored and later added to the Museum of Divine Statues in Lakewood, Ohio in April 2011.
