Edward M. and Della C. Wilhoit House is a historic home located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1916, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, rectangular Georgian Revival style brick dwelling. It features a one-story gabled-roof portico with a triangular pediment supported by limestone pilasters and columns with Tuscan order capitals and a sun porch. Also on the property is he contributing one-story, three-bay brick garage. It was built by Edward M. Wilhoit, who also built the E. M. Wilhoit Building.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

It was built in 1928, and is a four-story Commercial Block apartment building with a flat roof, red brick walls and simple Tudor style stone accents. The building houses 33 studio and one bedroom apartments. The Walnut Street Historic District is a national historic district located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. The district encompasses more than 150 one and two story frame, brick, cast-stone, or stone dwellings in a thirteen block area. The district includes parts of East Walnut Street, East Elm Street, East McDaniel Street, Cordova Court, South Hampton Avenue, South Florence Avenue, and South National Avenue. The district developed between about 1870 and 1940, with 21 buildings surviving from before 1900, and 59 buildings dating between 1901 and 1910.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, with a boundary decrease in 2001 and boundary increase in 2002.

The Springfield Three refers to an unsolved missing persons case that began on June 7, 1992, when friends Suzanne "Suzie" Streeter and Stacy McCall, and Streeter's mother, Sherrill Levitt, went missing from Levitt's home in Springfield, Missouri, United States. All of their personal belongings, including cars and purses, were left behind. There were no signs of a struggle except a broken porch light globe; there was also a message on the answering machine that police believe might have provided a clue about the disappearances, but it was inadvertently erased. In 1997, Robert Craig Cox, a convicted kidnapper and robber, claimed that he knew the women had been murdered and that their bodies would never be recovered. Neither their whereabouts nor their remains have ever been discovered. No investigators in the case believe Cox has any credibility.

Rail Haven Motel, also known as Rail Haven Motor Court, is a historic traveler's accommodation located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1938 and enlarged in 1957. It is an L-shaped motel complex that includes two Nine Unit Motel Buildings, Laundry, a 16 Unit Motel Building (1950), Original Laundry (1950), Office (1953), three Multiple Unit Motel Buildings (1938, c. 1957), the Thirty Unit Motel Building (1957), Swimming Pool and Pool House (1958), and Three Unit Motel Building (c. 1957).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. Today it operates as a Best Western franchise.
