Little Pond (Orange County, New York)

Big Pond is a lake in the U.S. state of New York. The lake has a surface area of 77 acres (31 ha).

Deerpark is a town in the western part of Orange County, New York, United States, and part of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2020 Census, the population was at 7,509. The center of population of New York is located in Cuddebackville, a hamlet in Deerpark. Cuddebackville and Deerpark most prominently serve as the headquarters of both the global Falun Gong religious movement and the Shen Yun performance arts troupe, based at the Dragon Springs compound.

The Hawk's Nest is a scenic location outside Port Jervis, New York high above the Delaware River on New York State Route 97. Its name is derived from the birds of prey that nest in the area. The location is also known for its winding roads and scenic overlooks in the Delaware River Valley. Route 97 was originally a one-lane dirt road built in 1859. It was paved between 1931–1933 and subsequently dedicated in 1939, and rededicated on September 21, 2002, as part of the "Upper Delaware Scenic Byway" (according to a historical marker placed by the Town of Deerpark, where Hawk's Nest is located).

The Nearpass House was an historic, American home that was located at Mill Rift in Westfall Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Neversink Valley Grange Hall No. 1530 is a historic Grange meeting hall located in Huguenot, Orange County, New York. It was built in 1934, and is a one-story with raised basement, rectangular wood-frame building with a medium pitched front gable roof. It has a projecting entry block that includes a vestibule and stairs to the upper and lower levels. In addition to a Grange hall, the building served as an early community center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Sparrow Bush is a hamlet (and census designated place) in the town of Deerpark, in Orange County, New York, United States. The population as of the 2020 census is 981. The community is located along state routes 42 and 97, 2.3 miles (3.7 km) northwest of Port Jervis. Sparrow Bush has a post office with ZIP code 12780. The community is named after Henry L. Sparrow who owned a large piece of woodland near the D&H canal.The locals started to call this piece of land Sparrow's “Bosh” (meaning Sparrow's slope) and Sparrow's “Bosk” (meaning Sparrow's woods). Over time the name of the town gradually evolved into Sparrow bush. It is zoned to Port Jervis School District, which operates Port Jervis High School and 2 Elementary Schools.

The Huguenot Schoolhouse, also known as District Schoolhouse No. 3, the 1863 Schoolhouse and the Town of Deerpark Museum, is located on South Grange Road a short distance from US 209 in Huguenot, a hamlet of the Town of Deerpark in Orange County, New York, United States. It was built in 1863, and is a large, one-story, Greek Revival style masonry building. It closed as a school in 1961, and currently serves as a local historic museum. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, the only property in the town of Deerpark so recognized besides the remnants of the Delaware and Hudson Canal.

Mill Rift Hall is a historic community center located at Millrift in Westfall Township, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1905, and is a one-story, gable roofed wood frame, clapboard sided building on a bluestone foundation. The interior has an open plan and has an elevated stage and collection of local artifacts. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Cejwin Camps was a Jewish summer camp in the Catskill Mountains, established in 1919 by the Central Jewish Institute. At its height it was "the most significant non-Hebrew Jewish cultural camp."
