St. John's Church, Egham or St. John the Baptist, Egham or St. John's Church is an evangelical Anglican church located in the centre of Egham, Surrey, in the Diocese of Guildford. There are approximately 320 members on the Electoral Roll and a usual Sunday attendance in the region of 300. The church's current vicar is Revd Esther Prior, who was appointed as Vicar in September 2018.

Egham railway station serves the town of Egham in Surrey, England. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by South Western Railway, which also provides the train services. The station is on the Waterloo to Reading line, 21 miles 2 chains (33.8 km) from London Waterloo, between Virginia Water and Staines. The station is also served by trains to Weybridge. The station signs read 'Egham, for Royal Holloway, University of London'. Many students from the University and the nearby Strode's College use the station for travel to and from Egham.

Strode's College is a sixth form college located in Egham, Surrey. It was founded in 1704, when Henry Strode bequeathed £6,000 to set up a free school in his native parish of Egham. In the twentieth century, Strode's became a boys' grammar school, before being designated a sixth form college in 1975. The college also provides a range of day and evening Adult Education courses. Strode's has been part of the Windsor Forest Colleges Group since May 2017. Alumni of the college are sometimes referred to as Old Strodians.

Egham ( EG-əm) is a town in the Borough of Runnymede in Surrey, England, approximately 19 miles (31 km) west of central London. First settled in the Bronze Age, the town was under the control of Chertsey Abbey for much of the Middle Ages. In 1215, Magna Carta was sealed by King John at Runnymede, to the north of Egham, having been chosen for its proximity to the King's residence at Windsor. Under the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the early 16th Century, the major, formerly ecclesiastical, manorial freehold interests in the town and various market revenues passed to the Crown.In the 17th and 18th centuries, Egham became a stop on coaching routes between London and many places to the west. The importance of this shrank from the building of the Western and South Western Railways but was for many decades offset by the stark growth in the population of London and the country at large. Egham station was opened in 1856 on the line from Waterloo to Reading and services are operated today by South Western Railway. The town is west of the M25 motorway, accessible via junction 13. The campus of Royal Holloway, University of London is 1 mile (2 km) to the west of Egham town centre, close to Englefield Green.

The Island is an inhabited island in the River Thames in England on the reach above Bell Weir Lock, a part of the Hythe End part of Wraysbury village and civil parish, Berkshire. It is connected to that side of the river and although part of Berkshire was, like the village, part of Buckinghamshire before 1974. The Island lies alongside the course of Egham Regatta.

Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club (WSPC) is an English skiff and punting club founded in 1931 based on the River Thames at the start of the Surrey section of the right bank – between the rest of Runnymede (the meadow in the borough of the same name) and Bell Weir Lock (founded as Egham Lock).

Bell Weir Lock is a lock on the River Thames in England by the right bank, Runnymede which is a water meadow associated with Egham of importance for the constitutional Magna Carta. It is upstream of the terrace of a hotel and the a bridge designed by Edwin Lutyens who designed an ornamental park gate house along the reach. The bridge has been widened and carries the M25 and A30 road across the river in a single span. The lock was first built by the Thames Navigation Commission in 1817; it has one weir which is upstream. The lock is the eighth lowest of forty-five on the river and is named after the founder of the forerunner of the adjoining hotel who took charge of the lock and weir on its construction.

Runnymede Bridge is a motorway, A-road, pedestrian, and cycle bridge, built in the 1960s and 1980s and expanded in the 2000s, carrying the M25 and A30 across the River Thames near the uppermost end of the Staines upon Thames and Egham reach of the river. It is oriented north–south and is southwest of Heathrow Airport. It consists of Runnymede Bridge and New Runnymede Bridge; commonly referred to as one bridge. It is one of three bridges which carry motorways across the Thames, the others being the M3 Chertsey Bridge and the M4 Thames Bridge, Maidenhead. (The Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at the Dartford Crossing is not classified as part of the M25.)

The Colne Brook is a river in England that is a distributary of the River Colne which runs from Uxbridge Moor, there forming the western border of Greater London, to the River Thames just below Bell Weir Lock in Hythe End, Wraysbury, Berkshire.

Egham Town Football Club is a football club based in Egham, Surrey, England. They are currently members of the Combined Counties League Premier Division North and play at the Runnymede Stadium.

Langham Pond is a 26.7-hectare (66-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Egham in Surrey.The pond and its surrounding alluvial meadows on chalk represent a habitat unique in southern England. The pond is the remains of an oxbow lake, formed when a meander of the River Thames was bypassed. The pond contains all four British duckweeds, three nationally scarce plants and a species of fly which has been found nowhere else in Britain, Cerodontha ornata.

Ankerwycke Priory was a priory of Benedictine nuns in Buckinghamshire, England. It was established around 1160 and dissolved in 1536. Excavations were carried out at the priory in 2022.
