The statue of Queen Victoria is a bronze sculpture depicting Queen Victoria by British artist Albert Bruce-Joy, installed outside the British Columbia Parliament Buildings, in Victoria, British Columbia. The 4-metre (13 ft) statue was commissioned by Richard McBride in 1912, and completed in 1914. World War I delayed the sculpture's unveiling until 1921.

Front Fountain is a fountain designed by Hooper & Watkins, installed outside the British Columbia Parliament Buildings, in Victoria, British Columbia. It was manufactured in 1905, by Joseph W. Fiske in New York, and installed in 1906. The fountain has one large ceramic tile basin with a granite rim. It once had four basins.

The British Columbia Legislature Cenotaph, also known as the Victoria Cenotaph and the War Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, is a war memorial, installed outside the British Columbia Parliament Buildings in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Unveiled by Lt.-Gov. W.C. Nichol on July 12, 1925, the granite cenotaph commemorates the sacrifices of Canadian Forces personnel and citizens during both World Wars, the Korean War and peacekeeping missions. The bronze statue was designed by sculptors Vernon and Sidney March.

The Knowledge Totem Pole is a totem pole carved by Coast Salish artist Cicero August and sons Darrel and Doug August, installed outside the British Columbia Parliament Buildings, in Victoria, British Columbia. The pole was originally created for the 1994 Commonwealth Games.The Knowledge Totem Pole was first restored in 2007 by Doug August Sr. (Hul'qumi'num: Sume'lh). It was refurbished again in 2021 under the supervision of Doug August Jr. The totem pole consists of (from top to bottom) a loon, a fisher, the bone player, and a frog.

The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and are home to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. The Speaker and the Serjeant-at-Arms are amongst those responsible for the legislative precinct, which by statute include the Parliament Buildings and grounds. The Neo-baroque buildings face north on Belleville Street facing the Inner Harbour and diagonally across from The Empress Hotel. A statue of Queen Victoria stands on the front lawn as well the British Columbia Legislature Cenotaph commemorating the province's World War I, World War II, Korean War and Afghanistan War dead. Atop the central dome is a gold-covered statue of Captain George Vancouver. Free guided tours of the facility are offered year-round.

Bills passed by the legislature are given royal assent by Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada, represented by the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.The current Parliament is the 42nd Parliament. The most recent general election was held on October 24, 2020. Proceedings of the Legislative Assembly are broadcast to cable viewers in the province by Hansard Broadcasting Services.

The Pacific Undersea Gardens was located at the Inner Harbour in the heart of downtown Victoria. The Gardens were owned and operated by the Oak Bay Marine Group.

The Netherlands Centennial Carillon is a 62-bell carillon located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Its tower is located at the intersection of Government Street and Belleville Street, in front of the Royal British Columbia Museum and across the street from the Parliament Building. It was given by the Dutch community of British Columbia in thanks for Canada's role in the liberation of the Netherlands during World War II. Queen Juliana of the Netherlands unveiled its cornerstone in 1967, Canada's centennial year. The carillon officially opened in May 1968.Its first 49 bells were cast at the Royal Bell Foundry by Petit & Fritsen at Aarle-Rixtel, in the Netherlands. Another thirteen were added in 1971.

The British Columbia Time Capsule is a time capsule in Victoria, British Columbia, containing records from 1966–1967. The capsule was placed in Confederation Garden Court on December 31, 1967, and is scheduled to be opened on January 1, 2067, as part of Canada's bicentennial celebrations.

A statue of Captain James Cook stood in Victoria, British Columbia, from 1976 until 2021, when it was toppled in a protest. It was a fibreglass copy of a bronze statue of 1912 by John Tweed in Whitby, Yorkshire, England. The Victoria Environmental Enhancement Foundation commissioned the work from Derek and Patricia Freeborn to mark the 200th anniversary of Cook's departure on his third voyage in 1776. The statue was unveiled on July 12, 1976, by William Richards Bennett, Premier of British Columbia. It stood on the Causeway, facing the Fairmont Empress hotel, with its back to the Inner Harbour.The statue was smeared with red paint in August 2020. On the night of July 1 (Canada Day), 2021, it was broken at the knee and ankle and thrown in the Inner Harbour; its pedestal was covered in red handprints. A makeshift statue of a red dress, commemorating missing and murdered Indigenous women, was put up in its place. The following morning a totem pole in Malahat (30km away) was set on fire, apparently in retaliation for the toppling of the statue.Following the toppling and vandalism of the statue, Ian Robertson, the CEO of the Greater Victoria Harbor Authority, announced that the statue would not return and the pedestal would be removed. Robertson stated that the statue "was significantly destroyed and beyond repair”.

Confederation Garden Court is a plaza in Victoria, British Columbia, completed in 1967 to commemorate the Canadian Centennial of confederation. The plaza features the British Columbia Time Capsule and Confederation Fountain, and is maintained by the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.

The British Columbia Law Enforcement Memorial is a memorial commemorating law enforcement professionals who died in the line of duty, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.It was unveiled by then-Premier of British Columbia Gordon Campbell on 26 September 2004, and sits in the grounds of the British Columbia Parliament Buildings.
