Floydsburg is a rural unincorporated community in Oldham County, Kentucky, United States. It is located southeast of Crestwood on KY 1408. This community was named its location near pioneer James John Floyd's Ford Station. The Floyds Fork, a tributary of the Salt River, starts nearby.

Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women (KCIW) is a prison located in unincorporated Shelby County, Kentucky, near Pewee Valley, Kentucky, operated by the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Male and female inmates prior to 1937 had been housed at the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Frankfort (1912 name changed Kentucky State Reformatory in Frankfort.)

South Oldham High School is located in Crestwood, Kentucky and serves pupils in 9th-12th grade.The school's mascot is the Dragon, which is green to reflect the school colors of green and gray, as well as navy and white for accent colors. South Oldham opened in 1989 because Oldham County High School had become overcrowded.

Saint James' Episcopal Church is a historic church in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. It was built in 1869 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Native Pewee Valley limestone was used to construct the building in a Gothic Revival style. It was completed in 1869 at a cost of $4,000. William Henry Redin (1822-1904) was the architect. The design was based on sketches made by Kentucky Bishop Benjamin Bosworth Smith of a 12th-century country church during a trip to England. In 1908, the congregation began a project to add a rectory. They sold 14 acres from the original 20-acre site to raise funds for construction of the rectory.

Long Run Baptist Church and Cemetery (also known as the Lincoln Cabin Site) is a historic church and cemetery on Long Run Road in Eastwood neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. In 1786 Captain Abraham Lincoln, grandfather of President Abraham Lincoln was murdered near this site by Native Americans, while President Lincoln's father, Thomas Lincoln, age eight, watched his father's murder. Tradition states that Captain Abraham Lincoln was buried by his cabin, which is now the site of Long Run Baptist Church and Cemetery. A stone memorializing Captain Abraham Lincoln was placed in the cemetery in 1937. The church was built on the site in 1844. The church and cemetery were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Centerfield is an unincorporated community in Oldham County, Kentucky, United States. It is a small suburban community that lies approximately 4 miles northeast of Crestwood on KY Highway 22 and approximately 6.5 miles southwest of La Grange. Nearby schools are Centerfield Elementary, Locust Grove Elementary and East Oldham Middle School. The two closest high schools are Oldham County High School in Buckner and South Oldham High School in Crestwood. Residential services are provided by Louisville Gas & Electric, Oldham County Water Company and Spectrum Cable. Fire and police services are provided by the South Oldham Volunteer Fire Department and the Ballardsville Fire Department as well as the Oldham County Police Department. Businesses include one gas station, one food service facility, and one liquor store. D. W. Griffith is buried at Centerfield's Mount Tabor Methodist Church cemetery.

The Ashwood Avenue Historic District, also known as Ashwood Avenue Historic District, in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, is a 23 acres (9.3 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It included 13 contributing buildings.The district includes nine houses along Ash Ave. from La Grange Rd. to Elm Ave. in Pewee Valley, specifically numbers 100, 106, 110, 111, 112, 115, 116, 117 & 121 Ash Ave. It includes Queen Anne, Bungalow/American Craftsman, and Colonial Revival architecture, built from c. 1890 to 1936.

St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church is a historic church at 202 Mt. Mercy Drive in Peewee Valley, Kentucky. It was built in 1914 and added to the National Register in 1989.It is a small Late Gothic Revival-style church. To its northeast is a historic rectory which has been so altered that it was deemed non-contributing, and a non-contributing 1950s school building associated with the church. It is built of limestone. It has corner towers and a "boldly crenelated front vestibule".

Park Lake is a neighborhood of the city of Crestwood in Oldham County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 537 at the 2000 census, at which time it was a separate city. Crestwood annexed Park Lake on May 1, 2006.
