Lynsore Bottom

Bossingham is a large hamlet in the parish of Upper Hardres and the district of the City of Canterbury, Kent, England. It is located about five miles (8 km) south of Canterbury, and 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Stelling Minnis on a parallel road to the Roman road of Stone Street (the B2068 road). There is one public house – the Hop Pocket, named after the large sacks in which hops were transported. The nearest general store and post office are in Stelling Minnis.

Davison's Mill, also known as Stelling Minnis Windmill, is a Grade I listed smock mill in Stelling Minnis, Kent, England that was built in 1866. It was the last windmill working commercially in Kent when it closed in the autumn of 1970. The mill is managed by the Stelling Minnis Windmill and Museum Trust, which came into being on 26 January 2010. It is open to visitors each year from Easter Sunday to the end of September on Sundays and Bank Holidays, from 2pm to 5pm. Its grounds host the annual Stelling Minnis fete.

Reed Mill is a tower mill in Kingston, Kent, England that was built in the early nineteenth century and worked until 1915, after which the mill was derelict. In 2010–11 the mill was converted and extended to form residential accommodation.

Upper Hardres is a village and civil parish in the City of Canterbury, in the district of Kent, England. The name of the Hardres family is perpetuated in the twin villages of Upper Hardres and Lower Hardres (pronounced 'hards'), on the Roman road, Stone Street, south-west of the city of Canterbury. The family owned the area for 700 years after the Norman Conquest. It is said that Thomas Hardres, who was knighted for his valor at the Siege of Boulogne in 1544, brought back the town gates and erected them at Upper Hardres, though there is little evidence of their existence today.

Stelling Minnis is a village and civil parish in the Folkestone and Hythe district in Kent, England. The village lies 13 kilometres (8 mi) to the south of Canterbury, and to the east of the B2068, Stone Street, the Roman road, which takes traffic between Lympne and Canterbury.

Bladbean is a scattered hamlet between Canterbury and Folkestone in Kent, England. It lies along a minor road east of Stelling Minnis. It is in the civil parish of Elham.

Pett Bottom is a small settlement about five miles (8 km) south of Canterbury, Kent, England. The nearest village is Lower Hardres. It is in the civil parishes of Bishopsbourne and Lower Hardres and Nackington, both of which are in the City of Canterbury. In the novels by Ian Fleming, James Bond lived here with his aunt after being orphaned.

Wingmore is a small village between Canterbury and Folkestone in Kent, England. It is situated in the Elham Valley approximately halfway between the larger villages of Elham and Barham on the B2065. It consists of a few cottages and farms. The population at the 2011 Census was included in the civil parish of Elham

Elham (pronounced Eel-um) is a village and civil parish in East Kent situated approximately 9 miles (14 km) south of Canterbury and 5 miles (8 km) north west of Folkestone in the Elham Valley. At the 2011 Census the population included the hamlet of Ottinge and village of Wingmore.

The Elham Valley is a chalk valley carved by the River Nailbourne situated in the North Downs in East Kent. The valley is named after the settlement of Elham. Other settlements in the valley include Etchinghill, Lyminge, Barham, Kingston, Bishopsbourne and Bridge. Located in the upper slopes of the valley are a number of examples of unimproved chalk downland such as Baldock Downs and Park Gate Down. At Bishopsbourne and North Lyminge there are examples of traditional sheep-grazed pasture and water meadow.

Marley is a scattered hamlet in the civil parish of Kingston, in the county of Kent, England. The hamlet is on a minor road about 1 mile (1.6 km) southwest from the parish village of Kingston, and 1 mile west from the village of Barham in the adjacent parish. Before and after the Norman Conquest, it was also home to the family seat of the Wootton family.

Elham railway station is a disused railway station on the Elham Valley Railway which served the village of Elham in Kent and the surrounding villages. Situated to the east of Elham the clapboard station was opened in 1887. In 1931 the line was singled and one platform was closed. Regular passenger services were withdrawn on 1 December 1940 when the line was taken over for military use. In 1946 the line was reopened for goods traffic but a year later this service ceased when the station was officially closed. After closure the station building was demolished but one platform still exists forming a retaining wall of a garden for a house now built on the station site.
