Neustadt (Sachs) (German: Bahnhof Neustadt (Sachs)) is a railway station in the town of Neustadt in Sachsen, Saxony, Germany. The station lies on the Bautzen–Bad Schandau railway and Neustadt–Dürrröhrsdorf railway. The station is served by DB Regio Südost. This service connects Pirna and Sebnitz via Neustadt.

Observation Tower at Goetzinger's Height is a 25 metres tall observation tower on Goetzinger's Height (Götzingerhöhe), a small mountain near Neustadt in Sachsen, which is named after Wilhelm Leberecht Götzinger. Observation Tower at Goetzinger's Height was built in 1883 together with an inn in its proximity. Therefore, it is older than Eiffel Tower and one of the oldest lattice towers in the world. In 1992 the observation tower, from which you have a nice view on Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Ore Mountains and Lusatian Highlands was renovated. The inn, situated close to the tower was closed for a longer period and reopened on April 1, 2006.

Sebnitz (German: Bahnhof Sebnitz) is a railway station in the town of Sebnitz, Saxony, Germany. The station lies on the Bautzen–Bad Schandau railway and the Rumburk–Sebnitz railway. The station is served by DB Regio Südost.The line into the Czech Republic, to Dolní Poustevna was closed in 1945. In 2012 it was announced that funding had been agreed for the rebuilding and reopening of the line. The new line was opened on 5 July 2014. This work included rebuilding the junction and some hundred metres of track and signalling to the border, from where the track has already been rebuilt.

Popular tourist towns in the region are Schirgiswalde, also known as the capital of carnival in Upper Lusatia, Šluknov with its famous arboretum, and Rumburk with medieval old town centre. Other notable towns include Ebersbach, Velký Šenov, Neukirch/Lausitz, Sohland an der Spree and Kirschau.
