Ulbersdorf railway station

Ulbersdorf is a village in Saxon Switzerland in the district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge in southeastern Saxony, Germany. It was mentioned first in 1432 as Olbersdorff and is part of the town of Hohnstein since 1994.

It was one of the villages that composed the municipality of Kirnitzschtal, but, since 1 October 2012, it has been part of the municipality of Sebnitz. The tourist attraction of the Lichtenhain Waterfall lies to the south of the village. It is 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) away on foot, but some 20 kilometres (12 mi) away by road, and is best approached by the S165 road from Bad Schandau, or the Kirnitzschtal tramway that parallels it.

Kirnitzschtal is a former municipality in the Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge district, in Saxony, Germany. Since 1 October 2012, it is part of the town Sebnitz. It had its administrative seat in Lichtenhain. The municipality was divided into the following 5 Ortsteile: Altendorf Mittelndorf Lichtenhain Ottendorf Saupsdorf

The Lichtenhain Waterfall is a waterfall formed by the Lichtenhainer village brook and is situated in the Kirnitzsch Valley in the Saxon Switzerland of Germany. The village of Lichtenhain lies to the north of the waterfall, and is 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) away on foot, but some 20 kilometres (12 mi) away by road. William Lebrecht Götzinger, chronicler of the Saxon Switzerland, mentioned the waterfall in his 1812 work Schandau and its environments. The original waterfall was not impressive enough for tourists, so the brook was dammed up by a pushable weir. Since the Kirnitzschtalbahn, a tramway linking the waterfall with Bad Schandau, was opened in 1898, hundreds of thousands of tourists have visited the waterfall.

Krumhermsdorf (German: Haltepunkt Krumhermsdorf) is a railway station in the village of Krumhermsdorf, a part of Neustadt in Sachsen, Saxony, Germany. The station lies on the Bautzen–Bad Schandau railway. The station is served by DB Regio Südost. This service connects Pirna and Sebnitz via Neustadt in Sachsen.

The Falkenstein is one of the best-known climbing peaks in Saxon Switzerland. It is situated near the rocky Schrammsteine ridge southeast of the town of Bad Schandau. The Falkenstein is nearly 90 m high and consists of sandstone. In the Middle Ages there were fortifications on top of the rock. Even today, the steps carved into the rock are still visible.
