Pacific Repertory Theatre

The Theatre of the Golden Bough was located on Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. This "Golden Bough" was one of two theaters in Carmel's history. It was destroyed by fire on May 19, 1935. Kuster moved his film operation to the older facility on Monte Verde Street, renamed it the Filmarte and it became the first "art house" between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It later became the Golden Bough Playhouse that still exists today.

The Golden Bough Playhouse is a historic three-story theatre in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California on Monte Verde St., between 8th and 9th Avenues. The playhouse occupies the site of the former Carmel Arts and Crafts Club, Carmel's first cultural center and theatre, built in 1906–1907 on Casanova Street, and the Arts and Crafts Hall, built in 1923–1924 on an adjacent lot on Monte Verde Street. Since 1994, the facility has been owned and operated by Pacific Repertory Theatre, Monterey County's only year-round professional theatre company. A two-phase renovation of the aging facility began with an interior building project in 2011. A second phase project, including both interior and exterior renovations, is scheduled for 2023-2024. The theatre was recorded with the National Register of Historic Places on July 3, 2002. It is significant as a California historic building because it is located on the original site of the Carmel Arts and Crafts Club and Hall, the oldest indoor performing arts venues in Carmel.

The La Playa Hotel, also known as the "Grande Dame of Carmel," is a historic two-story hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, once owned by artist Chris Jorgensen. The building is an example of Mediterranean Revival architecture. The building qualified as an important commercial building and was registered with the California Register of Historical Resources on September 21, 2002.

Carmel City Hall, is the seat of the municipal government of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It is a historic commercial building in the Carmel downtown district, located on Monte Verde Street and 7th Avenue. It is a good example of Shingle and American Craftsman architectural that was built in the 1910s. The building qualified as an important building in the city's downtown historic district property survey and was recorded with the California Register of Historical Resources on November 22, 2002.

The Spinning Wheel Restaurant, is a historic commercial building in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It was built in 1952, by Monterey Peninsula Builders and designed by architect Edwin Lewis Snyder as a restaurant. It is an example of a Monterey Colonial architecture style building. The structure qualifies as an important building in the city's downtown historic district property survey and was recorded with the California Register of Historical Resources on June 5, 2006.

The Sundial Lodge is a historic Medieval Revival hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It was designed by architect Albert L. Farr of San Francisco Bay Area and was built in 1929–1930, by Master builder Michael J. Murphy. It was designated as an important commercial building in the city's Downtown Historic District Property Survey, and was recorded with the Department of Parks and Recreation on December 5, 2002.

The La Ribera Hotel, also known as the Cypress Inn, is a historic Spanish Eclectic hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It was designed by architects Blaine & Olsen of Oakland, California and built in 1929, by Meese & Briggs. The building was designated as a significant commercial building in the city's Downtown Historic District Property Survey, and was recorded with the Department of Parks and Recreation on February 13, 2003.

The La Rambla Building is a historic commercial building, built in 1929, in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The structure is recognized as an important Spanish Eclectic-style building in the city's Downtown Conservation District Historic Property Survey, and was nominated and submitted to the California Register of Historical Resources on January 30, 2003.

The Normandy Inn is a historic French provincial-style complex of buildings in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, designed by Robert Stanton and built in 1936 by Fred Ruhl. The Normandy Inn has been recognized by the city as a historical resource and submitted to the California Register of Historical Resources on November 10, 2002. The Inn is an early example of the French provincial-style of architecture from the period between 1903 to 1930 in Carmel, and the most well-preserved remaining example of Robert Stanton's early architectural design work.

The Amelia Gates Building is a historic two-story wood-framed Tudor Revival style commercial building in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The building is significant as one of the two known designs by Amelia L. Gates. The building qualified as an important commercial building in the city's downtown historic district property survey and was registered with the California Register of Historical Resources on February 13, 2002. The building is occupied by the Kashmir Treasures and the MEUSE art gallery.

The Enchanted Oaks Building, is a historic commercial building, built in 1927, in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, United States. The structure is recognized as an important commercial building in the city's Downtown Conservation District Historic Property Survey, and was nominated and submitted to the California Register of Historical Resources on January 29, 2003. The building is occupied by the Silvestri Vineyards.

The Carmel Bach Festival (CBF) began in 1935 as a four-day series of concerts at the Sunset School Auditorium and the Carmel Mission Basilica in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, United States. Over the years, it grew to a three-week series of concerts, recitals, master classes, lectures, and open rehearsals, and in 2009 the Festival was shortened to two weeks under the leadership of Music Director and Conductor Paul Goodwin.
