The Jain Temple, Dubai (referred to locally as Derasar) is a house temple (ghar derasar) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Established in 1968, the GEMS Our Own English High School (OOEHS) – Dubai, is one of the schools in the UAE. The first campus opened in Bastakia and moved to Oud Metha Near St. Mary's Church in 1983. The School moved once again to its current location Al Warqa'a. Initially the girls and boys attended the same campus during different times of day; the girls were in the morning and the boys were in the afternoon. When the male students moved to a new campus in Al Warqa’a in 2007, the girls and boys school split into separate campuses. The girls school moved to Al Warqa in 2012.

Warsan or Warisan (Arabic: ورسان) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Warsan is an industrial neighbourhood of Dubai, bordering Al Warqaa to the north and Nad Al Sheba to the west. Warsan is subdivided into four localities — Warsan 1, Warsan 2, Warsan 3 and Warsan 4. The community is sparsely populated and is predominantly industrial, with the Dubai Sewage and Treatment Plant located in it. The new development, Dubai International City, will occupy much of the community. Other landmarks in the locality include Desert Palm Dubai, Al Aweer Power Station and Warsan Lake. Warsan is bounded to the north by route E 44 (Al Awir Road) and to the west by route E 311 (Emirates Road).

Dragon Mart (Arabic: سوق التنين) is a set of two adjacent shopping malls in Dubai International City, a suburb in Warsan 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dragon Mart is 1.2 kilometre long and is the "largest Chinese retail trading hub outside mainland China". It is includes the largest concentration of Chinese businesses in the UAE.

Uptown School Dubai is a Pre-K to Grade 12 school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a private institution managed by Taaleem, a UAE-based company and one of the largest education providers in the Middle East.

Mushrif Park (in Arabic: حديقة مشرف) is 5.25 square kilometre (1300 acre) family-oriented park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located in the eastern part of the city (near the suburb of Khawaneej), about 16 km (10 mi) from the traditional center of Dubai. The park was created in early 1980s by Dubai Municipality and was widely expanded and refurbished in 1989. Besides presenting 13 models of houses from around the world. The park presents other facilities including bicycle track, electronic entertaining games, football fields, theater screenings, excursion and barbeque services. The entry fee to Mushrif Park is 10 dirhams per car. To use the swimming pool the cost is 10 dirhams and kids below 100 Cm enter for free. The park is open daily from 0800 to 2300 (8:00 AM to 11:00 PM).The park is located near Dubai International Airport which has promoted the hobby of Aircraft spotting in the region.

Al Warqa (Arabic: الورقاء, al-warqāʾ), sometimes spelled Al Warqa`a or Al Warqaa is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located southeast of Dubai Creek, Al Warqaa is bordered to the north by Mirdif, the west by Nad Al Hammar- Awir and the south by Warsan or International City. The routes E 311 (Emirates Road) and E 44 (Al Awir Road) form the western and southern peripheries of Al Warqaa. Once a sparsely populated industrial locality close to Dubai city limits, Al Warqaa is now experiencing considerable growth due to the development of International City and other real estate projects near the area. Al Warqaa is divided into subcommunities, from Al Warqaa 1 — Al Warqa´a 5. Some landmarks in Al Warqaa include Dubai Municipality garbage disposal centre Aswaaq mall and Al Warqa Grand Mosque.

Wadi Alamardi (Arabic:وادي العمردي), or also Al Amardhi, is a community of the Emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Sector 2 in Northern Dubai.

Mirdif (Arabic: مردف) (sometimes referred to as Mirdiff due to differences in transliteration) is a residential area located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Like many areas of Dubai, Mirdif has a cosmopolitan population of approximately 37,000 representing a wide range of nationalities and consists mainly of villa developments, or single privately held villas.

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - Dubai (BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus or BPDC) is a private technical research university and a constituent college of Dubai International Academic City. It became the international campus of BITS Pilani in 2000, making it the second campus established (other campuses: Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). It is the first Indian university to have an overseas campus. Orbi Dubai is an interactive visitor attraction in Mirdif City Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the third Orbi attraction in the world and the first to open outside of Japan.

Dubai International City is a country-themed collection of residences, businesses, and tourist attractions. Spreading over an area of 800 hectares (8 million square meters), the arrangement of the city is inspired by the traditional carpets of the Middle East. Once completed, the project will contain studio and one-bedroom apartments, and accommodate over 60,000 residents. Dubai International City is located in the Al Warsan region of Dubai, close to the Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market.
