Al Warqa

Established in 1968, the GEMS Our Own English High School (OOEHS) – Dubai, is one of the schools in the UAE. The first campus opened in Bastakia and moved to Oud Metha Near St. Mary's Church in 1983. The School moved once again to its current location Al Warqa'a. Initially the girls and boys attended the same campus during different times of day; the girls were in the morning and the boys were in the afternoon. When the male students moved to a new campus in Al Warqa’a in 2007, the girls and boys school split into separate campuses. The girls school moved to Al Warqa in 2012.

Nad Al Hammar (Arabic: ند الحمر) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Nad Al Hammar is a small, residential and industrial community located in Dubai. The routes E 311 (Emirates Road) and E 44 (Ras Al Khor Road) form the eastern and southern peripheries of Nad Al Hammar. Nad Al Hammar is on the outskirts of Dubai city limits and has a small residential community. A Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) substation is located in the southeast of Nad Al Hammar.

It is located on Ras Al Khor 3, bordered by Al Awir , central Dubai near Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Dubai United Arab Emirates.

Warsan or Warisan (Arabic: ورسان) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Warsan is an industrial neighbourhood of Dubai, bordering Al Warqaa to the north and Nad Al Sheba to the west. Warsan is subdivided into four localities — Warsan 1, Warsan 2, Warsan 3 and Warsan 4. The community is sparsely populated and is predominantly industrial, with the Dubai Sewage and Treatment Plant located in it. The new development, Dubai International City, will occupy much of the community. Other landmarks in the locality include Desert Palm Dubai, Al Aweer Power Station and Warsan Lake. Warsan is bounded to the north by route E 44 (Al Awir Road) and to the west by route E 311 (Emirates Road).

Nad Shamma (Arabic: ند شما) or Nad Al Shamma is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located south of Dubai International Airport and was originally part of the locality of Al Rashidiya. Nad Shamma is bordered to the south by Nad Al Hammar, to the east by Umm Ramool, to the north by Mirdif and to the west by Al Rashidiya. Route E 311 ( Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road ) forms the eastern periphery of the locality. Nad Shamma is a developing area and is largely residential. It houses several villas and town houses.

Mirdif (Arabic: مردف) (sometimes referred to as Mirdiff due to differences in transliteration) is a residential area located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Like many areas of Dubai, Mirdif has a cosmopolitan population of approximately 37,000 representing a wide range of nationalities and consists mainly of villa developments, or single privately held villas.

Al Rashidiya (Arabic: الراشدية) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Rashidiya is located south of Dubai International Airport in Deira, the eastern region of Dubai. The locality is bounded to the north by route D 89 (Al Khawaneej Road), the west by route D 62 (Nad Al Hammar Road) and the east by route E 311 (Emirates Road). A local street, "201 Road", separates Al Rashidiya from the locality of Nad Al Shamma. Al Rashidiya borders Dubai International Airport to the north, Umm Ramool to the west, Nad Al Shamma to the south and Mirdif to the east. Local roads in Al Rashidiya follow a grid plan, with even-numbered roads running northeast–southwest, and odd-numbered roads running northwest–southeast. Al Rashidiya shares the local road addressing system with the locality of Nad Al Shamma. Important landmarks in Al Rashidiya include Al Rashidiya Park, Nad shamma Park, Rashidiya Grand Mosque and Bin Sougat Shopping Mall. Al Rashidiya is a relatively wealthy neighbourhood of expatriates and Emiratis. The locality is dotted with independent villas and town homes. Dubai's Airport Tunnel, part of which connects Al Rashidiya to Al Qusais, was the longest tunnel in the Middle East when it was built. The tunnel is 1.6 km (0.99 mi) long and cost Dh. 686 million (US$ 190 million).
