WGVV-LP (92.5 FM, "Groove 92.5") is a low-power FM radio station licensed to serve the community of Rock Island, Illinois. The station is owned by Quad Cities Community Broadcasting. It airs an urban contemporary music format. The station was assigned the WGVV-LP call sign by the Federal Communications Commission on May 8, 2003.WGVV-LP is licensed for HD radio (hybrid digital) operation.

Garfield Elementary School is a historic school building located at 1518 25th Avenue in Moline, Illinois. The school was built in 1902 to replace the original Garfield Elementary, which had burned down the previous year. The original school opened in the 1870s and was the first to serve Moline's Stewartville neighborhood; when the new school opened in 1902, it was still the only school in Stewartville. Local architect Olof Z. Cervin designed the brick Classical Revival building. In 1955, an addition designed by William F. Bernbrock provided the school with a new gymnasium and more classrooms.The school closed in 2015 and was sold to private developers. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 10, 2017. It is one of the three oldest public school buildings in Moline and the only surviving public school building in Stewartville.

Browning Park is a park in Moline, Illinois, United States, located at 16th Street and 23rd Avenue. Browning Field has been the home of high school and professional athletic events since 1910. It has hosted athletes such as Babe Ruth and Red Grange.

Wharton Field House is a historic arena located at 1800 20th Avenue in Moline, Illinois. It opened in 1928. It was home to the NBA's Tri-Cities Blackhawks, today's Atlanta Hawks, from 1946 to 1951. It has hosted professional teams, high school teams, concerts, and other events in its history. The approximately 7,000 seat Field House is adjacent to Browning Field, which has served as a baseball, football and track venue. Today, both Wharton Field House and Browing Field continue to serve as the home for Moline High School athletic teams. In 2004, USA Today named Wharton Field House one of the top places to watch high school basketball.

The John Deere House is a historic building located in Moline, Illinois, United States. The house, which is associated with industrialist John Deere, sits on the edge of a high bluff overlooking the Mississippi River Valley and the urban landscape below. It was declared a Moline Historic Landmark in 2002, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Skelly Service Station is an historic building located in the Floreciente neighborhood of Moline, Illinois, United States. The eastern third of the building was completed in 1932 in the Tudor Revival style to serve as a Skelly gas station. The service bay on the west side of the building was completed six years later. Its historical significance is derived from its being a Cottage Gas Station building type. Because Tudor Revival was a popular residential style at the time, it was used for gas stations so that they would blend into the surrounding neighborhood. It is the only remaining gas station building in this type left in Moline. There is one example of this style that also served as a Skelly station that is still in existence in neighboring Rock Island, Illinois. It was built in 1945. Two other former Skelly service stations remain in Moline, but they were built in a modern style in 1938. By 1958, the building no longer served as a gas station. It housed other businesses until it was used for storage. In 2018, Felix and Mary Vallejo bought the property and began a historic preservation project. The building was named a Moline Historic Landmark in 2022, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2024.

Alleman Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Rock Island, Illinois. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria. It is the second largest Catholic high school in the Quad Cities.

Quad Cities Multimodal Station is a station building in Moline, Illinois, intended to serve as the terminus of the proposed Quad Cities Amtrak route. Renovations and expansion of a historic former warehouse were completed in 2018 to serve this purpose, but as of 2025, the new rail line has not been established and no train service currently operates at the station.

Lagomarcino's is a restaurant in Moline, Illinois, United States. The soda fountain and chocolate shop was established by the Lagomarcino family in 1908. The business was named one of America's Classics by the James Beard Foundation Awards in 2006.

The TaxSlayer Center, formerly known as The MARK of the Quad Cities and the iWireless Center, is a 12,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Moline, Illinois. The facility opened in May 1993, under the name The MARK of the Quad Cities with the singer Neil Diamond as the opening act. The facility was renamed as the TaxSlayer Center on October 1, 2017. It is the home to the revived Quad City Steamwheelers of the Indoor Football League and the Quad City Storm in the Southern Professional Hockey League.

United States Housing Corporation (U.S.H.C.) Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Rock Island, Illinois, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2024. The historic district is made up of two discontinuous units and it includes 393 resources, which consists of 206 contributing buildings and 187 non-contributing buildings. The houses that make up this district were part of 638 houses constructed between 1918 and 1919 by the United States Housing Corporation (U.S.H.C.) in the Tri-Cities, now known as the Quad Cities. The local project area was referred to as the Rock Island District. At the time, there was a housing shortage in the area and a significant number of new workers were needed at the Rock Island Arsenal and other area manufacturers to produce supplies and munitions for the United States Army during World War I. St. Louis landscape architect George Kessler was hired to plan the Rock Island development. Rock Island contractor Henry W. Horst built the houses designed by the local architectural firm of Cervin and Horn. The houses were both single-family detached and semi-detached houses. The Tri-Cities housing committee favored permanent housing over temporary, and the houses were designed in styles that were popular at the time. The project came to an early end when the Armistice to end the war was signed in November 1918. The project in the city of Rock Island was far enough along that it was completed in full. It was one of the few U.S.H.C. projects in the country to be completed. Of the 900 houses planned in the Rock Island District, 110 houses were completed in neighboring Moline, 111 were completed in East Moline, 200 were completed in Rock Island, and 217 were completed across the Mississippi River in Davenport, Iowa. The houses in Iowa were designed by the architectural firm of Temple & Burrows and built by Central Engineering Company, both from Davenport. Initially, the houses were rented. The Rock Island District houses were the first U.S.H.C. houses to be sold, and this local sale set a pattern for the sale of the houses built in the rest of the country.
