Pulo Gadung is an administrative district (kecamatan) of the administrative city East Jakarta, Indonesia and situated on the northern edge of the city. It covers an area of 4.88 km2 (1,206 acres), and is bounded by Kelapa Gading District of North Jakarta to the north, Cakung District to the east, Jatinegara District and Duren Sawit District to the south, and Matraman District and Cempaka Putih District of Central Jakarta to the west. The district is currently divided into seven administrative villages. As of 2024, Pulo Gadung had an area of 15.55 km2 and a population of 309,037 (comprising 153,755 males and 155,282 females); giving a population density of 20,733 people per km2 (53,712 people per sq mi). Known for its industrial areas and bustling inter-city terminal, Pulo Gadung is a significant economic hub within East Jakarta.

The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance (AHA Centre) is an intergovernmental organisation, established by the ten ASEAN Member States to facilitate cooperation and coordination of disaster management amongst ASEAN member states. AHA Centre was established on 17 November 2011, and its headquarters are based in Jakarta, Indonesia. As of 2020, AHA Centre is led by Lee Yam Ming, the Singapore Civil Defence Force Assistant Commissioner. In 2020, AHA Centre had an annual revenue inflow of $4.3 million USD.

COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force (Indonesian: Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan COVID-19) was a task force that coordinates and oversees the Indonesian government's efforts to accelerate the mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was established on 13 March 2020, coordinated by Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management, involves Ministry of Health, Indonesian National Police, and Indonesian Armed Forces. The task force executive board was led by Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management head Doni Monardo, with Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Muhadjir Effendy as the head of advisory board.The task force was dissolved on 20 July 2020 according to Perpres Nomor 82 Tahun 2020 (Presidential Regulation No. 82 of 2020). The duties of this task force is then moved to the COVID-19 handling task unit in the National COVID-19 Handling and Economic Recovery Committee.

Jakarta International Velodrome is a sporting facility located at Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Indonesia. The arena was used as a venue for 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Asian Para Games. The Velodrome covers an area of about 9.5 hectares. The sports arena has a 250 m cycling track, designed by Schuermann Architects, tennis court and swimming pools. The velodrome has a seating capacity of 3,500 for track cycling, and up to 8,500 for shows and concerts. Although made for bicycle races, the complex will also be used for various sports activities such as volleyball, badminton, and futsal. The velodrome is certified as “Class 1” by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).The original venue was built in 1973 and demolished to make way for the modern velodrome. Previously, the velodrome latter was used as the venue for the 2011 Southeast Asian Games. Demolished Rawamangun Velodrome was outdoor and classified as national standard, but after renovation the cycling venue into the indoor Velodrome has transformed to international standard and certification by the UCI.

31 Senior High School Jakarta or Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 31 Jakarta is one of the public schools in the Province of Jakarta, Indonesia. Similar to all high schools in Indonesia, there are three years of lessons, ranging from 10th Grade to 12th Grade. It was founded in 1978, and has 30 classes and 900 students (30 students/class for 10th Grade, 11th and 12th Science, 11th and 12th Social, and 20 students/class for 11th and 12th Language). 10th Grade has 10 classes from A to J, 11th and 12th Science have 4 classes, 11th and 12th Social have 4 classes, and 11th and 12th Language have only one class. 31 Senior High School is also one of 28 schools in Indonesia which is in cooperation with the German government through the Goethe-Institut's project "Schulen: Partner der Zukunft" or Schools: Partners of the Future. With this project 4-5 students of 31 Senior High School Jakarta will be sent annually to Germany to participate in the German Winter-course or Summer-course in cities in Germany for 3 weeks (per semester, in 11th grade).

The Pulomas Racecourse (Indonesian: Pacuan Kuda Pulomas) was a horse racing venue in East Jakarta, Indonesia. It operated from 1971 to 2016. A newer venue built for equestrian sports, Jakarta International Equestrian Park (JIEP) now stood in its place.
