Lee is a town in Strafford County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 4,520 at the 2020 census. The town is a rural farm and bedroom community, being close to the University of New Hampshire.

Lee USA Speedway is a short-track oval race track located in Lee, New Hampshire.

The North River is a 15.1-mile-long (24.3 km) river located in southeastern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Lamprey River, part of the Great Bay and Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean. The river begins at the outlet of North River Pond in the northern corner of Nottingham, New Hampshire. It flows southeast through hilly, wooded terrain, crossing the entire town of Nottingham, the southwest corner of Lee, and a northern part of Epping, where it joins the Lamprey. A major tributary of the North River is the Bean River, which joins from the west in the center part of Nottingham.

Flag Hill Distillery & Winery is located in Lee, New Hampshire, United States. It is the largest vineyard in the state. Flag Hill was the first legal distillery in New Hampshire after Prohibition.

The Spruce Hole Bog, locally known as Spruce Hole, is a complete ecological community occupying a true kettle hole in the town of Durham, New Hampshire. According to the National Register of Natural Landmarks: "It illustrates characteristics of a typical sphagnum-heath bog, localized in a specialized geologic setting." It was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1972. Spruce Hole is located 2 miles (3 km) west of the town center of Durham and is owned by the town, which has conserved 35 acres (14 ha) around it. It is reached by a woods road off Packer's Falls Road, and despite the name, the surrounding forest is mostly white pine, hemlock, and birch. The bog is also adjacent to the Oyster River Forest, a permanently conserved 172-acre (70 ha)+ parcel owned by the town of Durham.

The Wiswall Falls Mill Site (site 27-ST-38) is a historic archaeological industrial site in Durham, New Hampshire. It is located in John Hatch Park, a small public park just south of Wiswall Road on the eastern bank of the Lamprey River. The 3-acre (1.2 ha) site encompasses the remains of a small 19th-century mill complex that was one of Durham's major industrial sites of the 19th century until it burned in 1883. The site, which includes remains of the waterworks and foundations, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Piscassic River is a 15.3-mile-long (24.6 km) river located in southeastern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Lamprey River, part of the Great Bay and Piscataqua River watershed leading to the Atlantic Ocean.The river rises in the northeast corner of Fremont and flows east across flat, swampy terrain through the town of Epping. Upon reaching the town of Newfields, where it is joined by the Fresh River, the river turns northeast and winds through rolling terrain to Newmarket, where it reaches the Lamprey River. The Fresh River joins the Piscassic just upstream from the Piscassic Ice Pond in a marshy area of beaver ponds.

Newmarket Junior-Senior High School is the public high school and middle school for the town of Newmarket, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. The teacher to student ratio is 1:13 due to the small number of students. In the 2005–2006 school year the students did as well as expected on the NHEIAP exams ranking 26th out of 75 districts in math and 23rd of 75 in reading. The Newmarket High school athletics teams compete in NHIAA Division IV. They have not won any recent championships but reached the finals in baseball in 2009 and in basketball from 2008–2009. The school mascot is the mule. The school colors are red and black. Rivals include Conant High School and Epping High School. In 2015, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Newmarket High School as number nine in the state. The school is also ranked as number one in the seacoast.The current principal is Andrew Korman.

The Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping (CCOM) / NOAA-UNH Joint Hydrographic Center (JHC) was founded in 2000 by Dr. Larry Mayer to find ways to process the massive amounts of data coming from sonar systems at rates commensurate with data collection; that is, to make the data ready for chart production as rapidly as the data could be collected.The main objective of the CCOM/JHC is to enhance methods for ocean mapping and hydrology, with the target to also advance the knowledge of the discipline's future generation. This objective underlies the aim of the JHC and its cooperative partnerships with the University of New Hampshire and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to create a national center for expertise in ocean mapping and hydrographic sciences.The center is located in the Chase Ocean Engineering building on the campus of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire, United States. University of New Hampshire Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the University of New Hampshire. It is located in Durham, New Hampshire (USA) near the old Durham Reservoir. The main telescope is a 0.35 m (14 in) Schmidt–Cassegrain reflecting telescope donated to the observatory in 1984. It is used only for educational purposes.

Wildcat Stadium is an 11,015-seat open-air multi-purpose stadium in Durham, New Hampshire, on the campus of the University of New Hampshire (UNH). It is home to the New Hampshire Wildcats football, lacrosse and track and field varsity teams. The stadium, which runs west-northwest, consists of a FieldTurf playing surface surrounded by a 400-metre track. On either side of the track are aluminum stands (the larger home stands being on northeast side). The stadium lies just southwest of the Field House, which houses Lundholm Gym as well as Swazey Pool and the Jerry Azumah Performance Center. The stadium is a part of the main athletics area of campus, south of Main Street and west of the railroad tracks. It replaced Memorial Field, which has since been remodeled for use by women's field hockey, and lies diagonally across Main Street beside the Whittemore Center. The track and field facility surrounding the field is named after Reggie F. Atkins, UNH class of 1928, a star student athlete who in later life donated the funds to start building the facility.

Lundholm Gym is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Durham, New Hampshire. It is home to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats athletics program, including men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and women's gymnastics. Lundholm Gym is the major component of the UNH Field House, which was completed in 1938 just to the northeast of Alumni Field, as part of the new athletics area. The gymnasium was renamed on December 2, 1968, to honor Carl Lundholm, '21, athletic director at the school from 1939 to 1963.
