Connections or 'Connies' is a nightclub in the Northbridge suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is believed to be the longest-running gay club in the southern hemisphere. It opened in 1975.The club is on the City of Perth heritage register for its significance to the LGBTQIA+ community in Western Australia.

The Cathedral of Saints Constantine and Helene (Greek: Καθεδρικός Ναός Αγίων Κωνσταντίνου και Ελένης) is a Greek Orthodox church in Perth, Western Australia. It was the first Greek Orthodox church built in Western Australia and took twelve years to erect. Before its foundation, Greek migrants in Perth conducted ecclesiastical services in their homes and workplaces, as well as in Anglican venues. The Castellorizian Association of WA, made up of Greek migrants from the island of Castellorizo, bought land on Parker Street, Northbridge, to house a church and hall, and the Hellenic Community of Western Australia put effort into raising funds for the buildings. In 1925, the hall was built, where church services and fundraising events took place. In 1936, the church was built and a consecration ceremony was conducted the following year. The cathedral is based on Byzantine architecture and the Church of Saints Costandinou and Eleni in Castellorizo, and the build cost was £4500. Currently, Father Terry Gerovasilis is the church's parish priest.

Perth City Link is an urban renewal and redevelopment project in Perth, Western Australia. The project – bounded by the Mitchell Freeway, Wellington Street, the Horseshoe Bridge and Roe Street – is on land that was once the Perth/City railway yard and dedicated railway property west of Perth railway station. The land was used by the railways and reserved for their use, from the 1880s until the late 1990s. At the time of early proposals, much of the space was no longer required by the railway.The foundation project, involved sinking a small section of the Fremantle railway line, between the City and Northbridge and demolishing the old Wellington Street Bus Station. Underground rail, refurbishment and extension of Perth station and a new bus station, is allowing for redevelopment of the 13.5 hectares (33 acres) of surface land that has been reclaimed. The rail works were completed in December 2013 and the Perth Busport opened in 2016.

Melbourne Street is a street in Northbridge, Western Australia that runs between Roe and James Streets. The current street is a part of an older and longer street that at one time extended from Murray Street to what is now Aberdeen Street. It is named after Lord Melbourne, the British prime minister in the 1830s, when the street was originally built.

It was named after Lord John Russell.The eastern boundary is on Parker Street, which is the location of the Saints Constantine and Helene Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Hellenic Community Centre. Shenton Street is the western boundary of the square. Russell Square was created some time between 1838 and 1845; it appears on 1845 maps of Perth, but not on 1838 maps.It has also been known as the park of sighs (Italian: Parco dei Sospiri) as it was the favoured meeting place of the Italian community of Little Italy.In the early 1990s it was reviewed in planning studies. In October 1994 Russell Square was upgraded, and thirty sculptures were designed and created by local artists Greg James and Drago Dadich. It has been a venue for the Festival of Perth.

Wellington Street bus station was a Transperth bus station located next to Perth railway station in the Perth central business district, Western Australia from 1973 until 2014. It was demolished to make way for Perth Busport.
