Blair Tobacco Storage Warehouse Complex Historic District

The Philip Morris Blended Leaf Complex Historic District encompasses a complex of tobacco storage and processing facilities at 2301 Maury Street in Richmond, Virginia. Included in the 12-acre (4.9 ha) site are a series of warehouses and cigarette-making factories developed beginning in the 1950s. Philip Morris USA built this complex in part to capitalize on advances in machinery that greatly increased the production speed of cigarettes.The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Weisiger–Carroll House is a historic home located in Richmond, Virginia. It was built about 1765, and is a two-story, vernacular, frame dwelling. It sits on a high brick basement, has a gable roof, and exterior end chimneys. The interior features original woodwork and a Federal style mantel. The house served as a hospital during the American Civil War and more than 100 Confederate soldiers who died there lie buried in a cemetery behind the house. The house was restored in the 1980s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Maury Street Marker, Jefferson Davis Highway is a historic route marker located on U.S. Route 1, or Jefferson Davis Highway, in Richmond, Virginia. It was erected in 1935, by the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC). It is one of 16 erected in Virginia along the Jefferson Davis Highway between 1927 and 1947. The marker is an inscribed granite slab with smooth flat faces and rough-cut edges. It measures 45 inches (110 cm) tall, 25 inches (64 cm) wide and 9 inches (23 cm) thick. The stone is engraved with the text "Jefferson Davis Highway Erected by Elliott Grays Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy 1935".It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The American Tobacco Company, South Richmond Complex Historic District encompasses a complex of tobacco storage, processing, and research facilities at 400-800 Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond, Virginia. Included in the 16-acre (6.5 ha) site are four large warehouses, processing buildings including a stemmery and a re-drying plant, and ancillary buildings and structures, including the American Tobacco Company's 1939 research laboratory. The complex exhibits a historical range of trends in the processing and storage of tobacco.The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Carter Jones Skate Park, also known as Fonticello Skate Park, is a skatepark located within Carter Jones Park in Richmond, Virginia, United States. Opened on July 28, 2013, officially as Fonticello Skate Park, Carter Jones Skate Park is the city’s first public skatepark and is maintained by the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities.

Built from 1938-40, the Art Deco style Model Tobacco Building is the primary six-story building of a six building collection of buildings comprising a former tobacco factory. Located at 1100 Jefferson Davis Highway (U.S. Route 1), in Richmond, Virginia, the building was designed by the Chicago architecture firm of Schmidt, Garden and Erikson and is known for the 9' tall Moderne MODEL TOBACCO letters which dominate the north end of the building. It is one of many Art Deco buildings in Richmond, including assorted buildings on Grace Street including the Central National Bank building, the Virginia Union Belgian Building, Medical College of Virginia's West Hospital, Henrico Theatre, Thomas Jefferson High School (Richmond, Virginia), and Nolde Bakery, 306-308 North 26th Street, and the Patrick Henry Building on 1111 E. Board Street built in 1938-40. Currently the building houses approximately 3.5 acres (14,000 m2) of used cubicle partitions and other miscellaneous office furniture.

The marker is an inscribed granite slab with smooth flat faces and rough-cut edges. It measures 47 inches tall, 25 inches wide and 12 inches thick. The stone is engraved with the text "Jefferson Davis Highway This tree marks the site of Battery 17 of the inner defenses of Richmond, 1862-65, and is planted in soil taken from battlefields A memorial to Confederate Soldiers by the Elliott Grays Chapter U.D.C. 1929."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.The website Roadside America calls this the "Highway Marker to a Dead Confederate Tree", pointing out that the tree mentioned in the inscription died decades ago.

The Church of the Sacred Heart, is a Catholic church in Richmond, Virginia that was built in 1901. The congregation was initially an Irish and German congregation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Springhill Historic District is a national historic district encompassing an early-20th century residential neighborhood in Richmond, Virginia. The neighborhood is located on the south side of the James River, just west of Cowardin Avenue and north of Semmes Avenue. It is roughly bounded on the north by Riverside Drive and on the west by Canoe Run Park. Although there was some residential development in this area earlier in the 19th century (as evidenced by the presence of a few Greek Revival houses), and the area was platted out as early as the 1870s, most construction took place in this area during the 1920s, and is in Colonial Revival and Craftsman styles. The district also includes remnants of a 19th-century water supply system, the remains of the Manchester Waterworks, an underground aqueduct, and the remains of a water-control tower.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
