Khoroshyovskaya (Moscow Metro)

Polezhayevskaya (Russian: Полежаевская) is a station on the Moscow Metro's Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line. It opened on 30 December 1972 as part of the original Krasnopresnenkiy radius and Krasnopresnenskaya line, and is unusual in having three through tracks (although it was not the first such station, see Partizanskaya). The station was initially intended to be at a junction to a branch toward Serebryanny Bor. However, the branch was scrapped after construction had already started, and the station was completed as originally planned. The station is named after Vasily Polezhayev, who was the head of Mosmetrostroy (The Moscow Metro building organisation) in 1958-1972. Its widened column tri-span design has a row of pillars in the centre of each of the two platforms, creating a wide space above the centre track. The octagonal pillars are coated with yellow marble of different tones and the walls covered with white ceramic tiles are accredited to the architects A. Fokina and L. Popov. Before 2015 only one of the platforms (and thus two of the tracks) is used by passengers. The second platform has been opened at 14 November 2015 (due to construction) and the third track (with the tunnel that goes another 340 metres before a siding) is used for the night-time standing of trains. Two vestibules (one with a closed escalator) are interlinked with subways under the Khoroshovo highway. The future prospects of the third track are dim, despite the construction of an adjoining station (Khoroshyovskaya) on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line. Some plans for the interchange passages include switching the traffic from the central track to the unused one to fill it up and construct a staircase in its place. The station has a daily passenger traffic total of 73,700.

The Institute of Biomedical Problems (IMBP, also IBMP; Russian: Институт медико-биологических проблем РАН) is an institution of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The IMBP is the leading organization in Russia for conducting fundamental research in the field of space biology and medicine; medical and biological support of crewed space flights; development of methods and means of ensuring safety and life, preserving health and maintaining human performance in extreme conditions. Founded in 1963, it is based at 76a, Khoroshevskoe Shosse in Moscow. As of 2021, its director was Oleg Igorevich Orlov. It is known in the West particularly for the MARS-500 experiment simulating crewed flight to Mars.

The Headquarters of the Main Intelligence Directorate, commonly known as the Aquarium, is the headquarters of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and is located at Khodynka Field, the site of Moscow's first airport. The building was extensively renovated in the early 2000s.

Khoroshyovo (Russian: Хорошёво) is a station on the Moscow Central Circle of the Moscow Metro. The station offers out-of-station transfers to Polezhayevskaya of Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line and Khoroshyovskaya on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line.

Aviapark (Russian: Авиапарк) is a six-storey shopping centre in the Khoroshyovsky District of Moscow, Russia. With a total area of 390,000 square metres and 230,000 square metres of leasable space, it is the largest shopping mall in Europe. It opened in November 2014 with more than 500 shops and a four-story aquarium that extends to the ceiling of the retail section. The aquarium was recognised by Guinness World Records as the tallest cylindrical aquarium in the world at 22.31 metres (73.2 ft).

VEB Arena (Russian: «ВЭБ-Арена»), known as Arena CSKA due to UEFA sponsorship regulations, is a multi-use stadium in Khodynka Field, Moscow, Russia, that was completed in 2016. It is used mostly for football matches and host the home matches of PFC CSKA Moscow and occasionally the Russian national team. The stadium is located near the Khodynka Field in the Park of Birch Grove.

Grigory Fedotov Stadium was a multi-use stadium in Moscow, Russia. It was initially used as the stadium of PFC CSKA Moscow matches. The capacity of the stadium was 10,000 spectators. It was named after for former CSKA striker, Grigory Fedotov. It was located between Peschanye ulitsy (Sand streets) district and Khodynka Field at the Park of Birch Grove. Due to its location, it also was called as Peschanoe CSKA Stadium. It has been replaced with VEB Arena.

Khoroshyovsky District (Russian: Хорошёвский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion) of Northern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. It is 6 kilometers northwest of the Moscow city center. Central to the district is Khodynka Field, which, as an open space in the northwest of Moscow was long the site of agriculture, battles, celebrations and the first airfield in Russia. In recent years the district has seen large scale developments, including the Megasport Sports Palace, VEB Arena, the Aviapark shopping center, and the Triumph Palace highrise residential building. The area of the district is 8.54 square kilometers (3.30 sq mi). Population: 56,600 (2017 est.)

The Khodynka Tragedy (Russian: Ходынская трагедия) was a crowd crush that occurred on 30 May [O.S. 18 May] 1896, on Khodynka Field in Moscow, Russia. The crush happened during the festivities after the coronation of the last Emperor of Russia, Nicholas II. While 1,282 corpses were collected from the scene, injury estimates range widely from 1,200 to 20,000.

Zorge (Russian: Зорге) is a station on the Moscow Central Circle of the Moscow Metro. It became the 30th station on the line when it opened in November 2016.Zorge is near the Khodynskoye Pole area in northwestern Moscow. The station's name comes from the name of the street, Ulitsa Zorge, on which the station is situated. Ulitsa Zorge is named for Richard Sorge, a decorated Soviet intelligence officer who served in Nazi Germany and Japan.Zorg, as well as Panfilovskaya station to the north, provides an out-of-station transfer to Oktyabrskoye Pole station of Moscow Metro's Line 7.

Khodynka Field (Russian: Ходынское поле, Khodynskoye pole) is a large open space in the north-west of Moscow, at the beginning of the present day Leningradsky Prospect. It takes its name from the small Khodynka River which used to cross the neighbourhood. The field is close to several Moscow Metro stations including Dinamo and Aeroport on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line, and Oktyabrskoe Pole on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line, which is named after Khodynka field.

CSKA (Russian: ЦСКА) is a station on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on 26 February 2018 as one of five initial stations on the new line.Passengers can make out-of-station transfers to Zorge on the Moscow Central Circle Line. The Metro plans to build a walkway between the stations which would make the connection time about 20 minutes.
