Khodynka Field

CSKA (Russian: ЦСКА) is a station on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on 26 February 2018 as one of five initial stations on the new line.Passengers can make out-of-station transfers to Zorge on the Moscow Central Circle Line. The Metro plans to build a walkway between the stations which would make the connection time about 20 minutes.

Khodynka (Russian: Ходынский, Khodynskiy), officially Frunze Central Aerodrome, formerly known as Central (Tsentralny, Центральный аэродром имени М. В. Фрунзе), was an airport in Moscow, Russia, located northwest of the centre of the city.

The Khodynka Tragedy (Russian: Ходынская трагедия) was a crowd crush that occurred on 30 May [O.S. 18 May] 1896, on Khodynka Field in Moscow, Russia. The crush happened during the festivities after the coronation of the last Emperor of Russia, Nicholas II. While 1,282 corpses were collected from the scene, injury estimates range widely from 1,200 to 20,000.

Khoroshyovsky District (Russian: Хорошёвский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion) of Northern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. It is 6 kilometers northwest of the Moscow city center. Central to the district is Khodynka Field, which, as an open space in the northwest of Moscow was long the site of agriculture, battles, celebrations and the first airfield in Russia. In recent years the district has seen large scale developments, including the Megasport Sports Palace, VEB Arena, the Aviapark shopping center, and the Triumph Palace highrise residential building. The area of the district is 8.54 square kilometers (3.30 sq mi). Population: 56,600 (2017 est.)

The CSKA Sports Complex is an Olympic Village that is part of CSKA Moscow and was prepared to the 1980 Summer Olympics. It is located right next to a military air field. Its athletics fieldhouse hosted the wrestling competitions while its football fieldhouse hosted the fencing and the fencing part of the modern pentathlon competitions.

Megasport Sport Palace (Russian: Дворец спорта "Мегаспорт" Dvorets sporta Megasport), formerly Khodynka Arena or Ice Sport Palace, is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Moscow, Russia. The arena is situated in the Khodynka Field and has a maximum seating capacity of 13,926 people. Opened in 2006, the arena is primarily used to host basketball and ice hockey games.

State Air Traffic Management Corporation in the Russian Federation (Russian: Федеральное государственное унитарное предприятие «Государственная корпорация по организации воздушного движения в Российской Федерации») is an organization providing air navigation services in Russia. It was established in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 14, 1996 No. 583. It is a subordinate organization of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) and provides state air navigation services on its behalf in accordance with the administrative regulations. From 2005 to 2009, the enterprise's activities were supervised by the Federal Air Navigation Service.

CSKA Ice Palace (Russian: Ледовый Дворец Спорта ЦСКА) was an indoor arena located in Moscow, Russia. The arena's seating capacity was 5,600. The arena was located next to Khodynka Field, and was a part of the CSKA Sports Complex. It was primarily used to host ice hockey games and figure skating competitions.

The Headquarters of the Main Intelligence Directorate, commonly known as the Aquarium, is the headquarters of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and is located at Khodynka Field, the site of Moscow's first airport. The building was extensively renovated in the early 2000s.

Alexander Gomelsky Universal Sports Hall CSKA, also known as USH CSKA, and formerly known as CSKA Palace of Sports, was a multi-purpose indoor sporting arena located in Moscow, Russia. It formed part of the CSKA Sports Complex and was primarily used to host basketball and futsal games, but it can also be used to host boxing matches, volleyball games, handball games, tennis, gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, wrestling, fencing, martial arts, and other sports. The arena can also be used for dancing and other entertainment events. The seating capacity of the arena for basketball games was 5,000.The arena is named in honor of the late Alexander Gomelsky, the former head basketball coach and honorary president of CSKA Moscow Basketball Club. The arena was demolished in early 2022.

The Institute of Biomedical Problems (IMBP, also IBMP; Russian: Институт медико-биологических проблем РАН) is an institution of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The IMBP is the leading organization in Russia for conducting fundamental research in the field of space biology and medicine; medical and biological support of crewed space flights; development of methods and means of ensuring safety and life, preserving health and maintaining human performance in extreme conditions. Founded in 1963, it is based at 76a, Khoroshevskoe Shosse in Moscow. As of 2021, its director was Oleg Igorevich Orlov. It is known in the West particularly for the MARS-500 experiment simulating crewed flight to Mars.

Aeroport (Russian: Аэропо́рт, IPA: [aɪrɐˈport]) is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. Its name, literally meaning airport, owes to the nearby Khodynka Aerodrome, Moscow's first airport, no longer in operation. Now, there is a bus terminal (Goraerovokzal, Гораэровокзал) which has regular service to Moscow's principal airports. Opened as part of the second stage on 11 September 1938, the station features a single-vault design. It was built using a cut-and cover method. Concrete segments of the vault were pre-cast and then lowered into the station. Architects B. Vilensky and V. Yershov applied the aviation theme to this big open station, in what is seen as some of the best examples of Soviet Art Deco architecture. The most noticeable design feature is the network of intersecting ribs that fan out across the vaulted ceiling. These ribs originate from fan-shaped limestone panels spaced at regular intervals along the walls, which are red marble with shell-shaped brown marble insets. The floor is revetted with grey granite. Lighting comes from pyramidal objects which house luminescent lamps, although originally the station had chandeliers with normal tungsten bulbs. The vestibule to the station is located on the north side of Leningradsky Avenue near the Viktorenko Street, and receives a daily passenger traffic of 59,800.
