Livingstone High School is a school in the Western Cape of South Africa. It was founded by Abdullah Abdurahman in 1926. As of August 2017 Theodore Bruinders was the school's principal, currently the Acting Principal is Mr D.R. Niekerk. Ashley van de Horn is currently the deputy principal.The principal who has been serving the school was Mr Najaar before he had retired. In 2021 the current acting principal is Mrs. Ganie

Harfield Village, also known as Lower Claremont, is a suburb in the south of Cape Town. Its neighbouring suburbs are Kenilworth and Claremont, Cape Town. Prior to the apartheid era Group Areas Act the area was home to around 19,000 Coloured residents. All of whom were evicted or forced to sell their property when the area was declared a whites only area in 1969. Victorian and Edwardian cottages decorate the tree-lined, numbered avenues, and English sounding streets with names like Surrey, Norfolk and Suffolk. Many of these are semi-detached and make perfect starter homes, and there is a real village feel to the little area that manages to hide itself obscurely on the other side of the railway line and Main Road from Arderne Gardens. It fits snugly up against Harfield station on the major commuter train into Cape Town. Harfield Village probably got its name from the original Harfield Cottage, built here by Thomas Mathew, one of the initial residents of Claremont.

Greenfield Girls' Primary School is a public English medium high school for girls in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. Claremont railway station is a Metrorail station on the Southern Line, serving the suburb of Claremont in Cape Town. The station has three tracks, served by a side platform and an island platform; the station building is at ground level on the western side of the tracks. Adjacent to the station is major bus station of the Golden Arrow Bus Services and a large minibus taxi rank.

Choo Choo Park is a public playground in Claremont, Cape Town, in South Africa and is named after the steam train installed in the middle of the park. The 0-4-0 saddle-tank locomotive was built by the Brooks Locomotive Works between 1894 and 1896 with the serial number 2725. It was originally run by the Transvaal & Delgoa Bay Collieries Ltd near Witbank after which it was acquired by the City of Cape Town to work the Dock Road and the Table Bay power stations at the foreshore. During this later period of its working life the train acquired the nickname “Dyna-Mo” or “Dinah-Mo”. The train was moved to its present position in Choo Choo Park some time after the closure of the power stations in 1962.

The Peter Clarke Art Centre, formerly known as the Frank Joubert Art Centre, is a co-educational government art school in Cape Town, South Africa. The school specilises in teaching the visual arts and design within the Western Cape Education Department's curriculum. It has the capacity to offer these courses to 200 grade 10 to 12 students from 50 different schools in the surrounding area. It also offers classes for adult learners.It was founded by Frank Joubert, a World War II captain in the South African Army, in 1943 to help rehabilitate traumatised soldiers through art. Originally located at Rustenburg House the school moved to its current location at Vredenhoff, Newlands in 1970. In the 1960s the school started offering art as a matric subject to school children from other schools. In 2016 it was renamed after the artist Peter Clarke.

The Saint James Church massacre was a massacre perpetrated on St James Church of England in South Africa in Kenilworth, Cape Town, South Africa, on 25 July 1993 by four members of the Azanian People's Liberation Army (APLA). Eleven members of the congregation were killed and 58 wounded. In 1998 the attackers were granted amnesty for their acts by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Keurboom Park is a park in Rondebosch, Cape Town, in South Africa. It borders the Western Province Sports Club and Rondebosch Boys' High School. It is named after the original Keurboom estate. The keurboom is an indigenous tree. The park hosted the 2012 African Cross Country Championships with races ranging from 6 to 12 km (3.7 to 7.5 mi).
