Chaitanya Engineering College is a private engineering college in Visakhapatnam, India. It is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

The Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary is a forest located near Visakhapatnam. It has been under the control of Andhra Pradesh Forest Department since 10 March 1970. Earlier the land was under the control of Maharajah of Vizianagaram. It was named after the local hillock Kambalakonda. It is a dry evergreen forest mixed with scrub and meadows and covers an area of 70.70 square kilometers. The indicator species is the Indian leopard.

Shilparamam Jathara is an arts and crafts village and all so Sculpture park located in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam, India. Pothinamallayya Palem or PM Palem, is a residential neighbourhood situated in Visakhapatnam city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation area. It is located to the north of Visakhapatnam city on National Highway 16 (NH16) to Srikakulam. This place is well connected to other parts of the city such as Asilmetta and Maddilapalem. The only international cricket stadium in Andhra Pradesh (Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium) is located here.

Dr. Y. S. Rajashekar Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium (also known as Dr. Y. S. Rajashekar Reddy Andhra Cricket Association–Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association Cricket Stadium; formerly known as ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is primarily used for international cricket matches. The stadium has two-tiers and was designed to avoid any restricted view seats, eliminating pillars or columns which come in the field of view of spectators in some of the Indian stadiums. The pitch is known to be batsman-friendly.

Kapuluppada is a neighborhood situated on the northern part of Visakhapatnam City, India. The area, which falls under the local administrative limits of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, is about 25 km from the Visakhapatnam Railway Station.

Bavikonda Buddhist Complex lies about 16 km from Visakhapatnam, in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, on a hill about 130 metres above mean sea level. The term Bavikonda in Telugu means a hill of wells. As per its name, Bavikonda is a hill which has wells for the collection of rainwater. Bavikonda Monastic ruins dates back to the 3rd century BCE. A large Buddhist complex was excavated at this site. The excavated remnants are as follows: A piece of bone stored in an urn, supposed to be one of the remains of the Buddha, Inscriptions, Pottery, Relic caskets, Tiles, Bricks, Coins etc.were recovered here by the State archaeological Department.The Buddhist sites of Thotlakonda and Pavurallakonda are situated close by. The Indian National Trust for Arts and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has already appealed to the authorities to ensure better protection of Buddhist sites by taking up the declaration of Bavikonda, Thotlakonda, Pavurallakonda and Bojjannakonda as heritage sites by UNESCO. This will not only pave the way for steady flow of funds but also generate employment opportunities for the locals.

Millennium IT Towers is an information technology (IT) park situated in the city of Visakhapatnam, India. It was set up for the growth of information technology and as an initiative in making Visakhapatnam city as a Financial-tech (Fintech) Capital in the state of Andhra Pradesh by the APIIC and Government of Andhra Pradesh. Millennium IT Tower 1 was inaugurated by then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu on 15 February 2019

Fintech Valley Vizag is an initiative of the Government of Andhra Pradesh to promote business infrastructure in the state, and attract investors and multinational corporations to set up offices. Fintech Valley was founded by N. Chandrababu Naidu then Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state in December 2016 with the goal of enhancing Visakhapatnam City as a financial technology capital in Andhra Pradesh.
