Ark All Saints Academy is a mixed, non-selective school for pupils which opened as an Ark school in September 2013 with an intake of 120 year 7 students. The school grew year on year until its maximum capacity of 600 was reached in 2017. A sixth form was planned to open in 2018, with an intake of 120 in each year, however due to lack of funding the project was abandoned. The school opened on the old grounds of St Michael and All Angels Academy in Camberwell, with a brand new building opening in January 2014.The school's aim is for 'every scholar to have the means to go to university or pursue the career of their choice at the end of their compulsory education'.Ark All Saints is graded as a 'Good' school after OFSTED inspections in 2015 and 2018. Ark All Saints Academy had its first SIAMS inspection in November 2016 and achieved an Outstanding grade in every category. Since 2017 it has been oversubscribed and at capacity.

The Royal Flora Gardens (later known as the New Vauxhall Gardens) were short-lived popular pleasure gardens at Wyndham Road in Camberwell (then in Surrey but now in London) from 1849 to 1864.

St John the Divine, Kennington, is an Anglican church in London. The parish of Kennington is within the Anglican Diocese of Southwark. The church was designed by the architect George Edmund Street (who also built the Royal Courts of Justice on Strand, London) in the Decorated Gothic style, and was built between 1871 and 1874. Today it is a grade I listed building. The church stands on Vassall Road, Kennington, in Vassall Ward in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is near Oval tube station and the Oval Cricket Ground. The spire can be seen clearly for miles around.

Sacred Heart Catholic School is a mixed Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form located in the Camberwell area of the London Borough of Southwark, England.

Camberwell is a closed railway station in Camberwell, South London, England. It opened in 1862 but was closed to passengers in 1916 and closed to all traffic in 1964. The possibility of the station's re-opening has been raised in recent years.

Thumbprint Editions is a printmaking studio in London. The studio makes etchings and woodcuts with artists including Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor, Michael Craig-Martin, Antony Gormley, Gillian Ayres, Cornelia Parker, Yinka Shonibare CBE and Gary Hume.The studios are located in an industrial building in South London and are equipped with three Rochat etching presses, one relief press and a purpose built Dutch press, capable of printing etchings and relief prints up to 1.2m by 2.5m. A Spektraproof platemaking frame and a large printdown-frame and lamp can make photo-etchings and polymer Gravures. Thumbprint Editions have produced prints published by Alan Cristea Gallery, Art on the Underground, Bronze Orchid, Capital Prints, Grimm Fine Art, Grosvenor Vadhera Gallery, Harvey Bayer Fine Art, Hollybush Gardens, ICA, Other Criteria, Paragon Press, Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art, Thumbprint publications, White Cube, Whitechapel Art Gallery, and World House Editions.

The Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart is a Roman Catholic church on Knatchbull Road and Camberwell New Road in Camberwell, south east London, SE5. The first church on this site was destroyed by enemy action during The Blitz between 8–9 October 1941.The church was built between 1952 and 1958 in the Moderne style and has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since 2015. The foundation stone of the present church had been laid by Cyril Cowderoy on 19 April 1952.The devotional Stations of the Cross sculptures of Sacred Heart were supplied by Burns & Oates and are placed above the side aisles of the church. The individual Stations of the Cross are made using the opus sectile technique, inlaid on a gold mosaic background.

The Minet Library is a public library in the London Borough of Lambeth in South London. The library opened in 1890 and currently operates as a self-service library, with limited staff, as a result of cuts to funding. The building is home to Lambeth Archives, which remains open to users.

Lambeth Archives is an archive in South London, managed by the London Borough of Lambeth. Containing records of Lambeth businesses, organisations and individuals, it is housed at the Minet Library on Knatchbull Road. The archive holds various documents for tracing family history, including parish records, electoral registers, civil registers, census returns, poll books, cemetery records, trade and commercial directories, and historic newspapers. The archive is open to the public free of charge.

The Blue Elephant Theatre is a 50-seat fringe theatre situated in the borough of Southwark in London. It was established in 1999 by Antonio Ribeiro.Niamh de Valera and Jo Sadler-Lovett are co-Artistic Directors of Blue Elephant Theatre, jointly programming the theatre’s seasons since 2013. The theatre has an eclectic programme, promoting cross-art-form work and all forms of theatre from physical and dance theatre to new writing and classics. Its aim is to nurture new and emerging artists across the performing arts. These have included Mamoru Iriguchi (Evening Standard Best Design Award-Winner 2009), Levantes Dance Theatre (Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award-Winner 2009]), George Mann (The Stage Best Solo Performer Award-Winner 2009), Paul Morris (Adopt A Playwright Award-Winner 2009). and Carlos Pons Guerra (nominated for Emerging Artist Award, National Dance Awards 2015).Jasmine Cullingford preceded de Valera and Sadler-Lovett as Artistic Director of the theatre. In 2009 Cullingford won the Best Venue Manager award from Fringe Report and in October 2013 the Blue Elephant won the inaugural Southwark Arts Forum Performing Arts Award for work that 'exemplifies the genre'.

Vassall ward is an administrative division of the London Borough of Lambeth, United Kingdom. It is also known as 'Myatt's Field' when informally describing the area. It is located in the North of borough bordering Southwark, in the SW9 and SE5 postcode area. The area is named after Henry Vassall-Fox, 3rd Baron Holland who was responsible for the first building development in the area in the 1820s. The ward is made up of mostly Brixton but includes parts of Stockwell, Camberwell, Oval and a very small part of Kennington. The ward is noted for its high numbers of households living in deprived conditions. Housing stock in the ward ranges from large detached houses to towerblocks—ONS figures show that over 61% of housing in the ward is rented from the local authority or from a housing association with many people living on large housing estates such as the Myatts Fields North, Myatts Fields South, Cowley, Holland Town and Caldwell Gardens estate. The ward contains several open spaces and parks including Myatt's Fields Park, Eythorne Park and Slade Gardens. It also contains the churches of St John the Divine, Kennington and Christ Church Brixton Road. At the 2011 Census the population of the ward was 14,143.Vassall ward is located in the Lambeth and Southwark London assembly constituency and is represented by Labour Co-op Member Florence Eshalomi. It is in the Vauxhall parliamentary constituency and is one of four wards in the borough's north Lambeth division.
