Clinton Township is a township in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,719 at the 2020 census, up from 3,708 in 2010. It is part of the Williamsport, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Turkey Run is a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 2.2 miles (3.5 km) long and flows through Clinton Township. The watershed of the stream has an area of 2.18 square miles (5.6 km2). The stream is not designated as an impaired waterbody. It is a relatively small stream and is located near State Correctional Institution – Muncy. The stream's watershed is designated as a Warmwater Fishery and a Migratory Fishery.

State Correctional Institution – Muncy (SCI Muncy) is a Pennsylvania Department of Corrections prison for women in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, near Muncy. SCI Muncy, a close security prison, has Pennsylvania's "Death Row" for women.In 1920, Muncy Industrial Home, a training school for imprisoned women between 16 and 30, opened. In 1953 the industrial home became a part of the Bureau of Correction. The industrial home is now SCI Muncy.SCI-Muncy is the diagnostic center for female offenders in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. It also houses the Young Adult Offenders program. SCI-Muncy has received some press coverage for its service dog training program which is coordinated with Canine Partners for Life. As of 2023 the prison had 1,000 prisoners, including 138 with life sentences and it houses the female offenders with execution sentences, when applicable.

Montgomery Area High School is a diminutive public high school in Montgomery, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. It is the sole high school operated by the Montgomery Area School District. Montgomery Area High School serves: the borough of Montgomery as well as Clinton Township, Brady Township, and Washington Township in Lycoming County. The Montgomery Area School Board converted the high school to a joint junior and senior high school for 2014–15, due to low enrollment. In 2015, enrollment was reported as 364 pupils in 7th through 12th grades. The school employed 23 teachers.

Glade Run is a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River in Northumberland County and Lycoming County, in Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 6.5 miles (10.5 km) long and flows through Lewis Township in Northumberland County and Muncy Creek Township and Muncy in Lycoming County. The watershed of the stream has an area of 7.63 square miles (19.8 km2). The stream is not designated as an impaired waterbody. An Indian path known as the Wyoming Path was historically in the stream's vicinity. More recently, a number of bridges have been constructed over Glade Run. The stream's watershed is designated as a Warmwater Fishery and a Migratory Fishery.

Muncy Creek (also known as Big Muncy Creek) is a tributary of the West Branch Susquehanna River in Sullivan County and Lycoming County, at Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 34.5 miles (55.5 km) long. The watershed of the creek has an area of 216 square miles (560 km2). The creek's discharge averages 49 cubic feet per second (1.4 m3/s) at Sonestown, but can be up to a thousand times higher at Muncy. The headwaters of the creek are on the Allegheny Plateau. Rock formations in the watershed include the Chemung Formation and the Catskill Formation. There are a number of lakes in the watershed of Muncy Creek, including Eagles Mere Lake, Highland Lake, and Beaver Lake. The creek was known as Occohpocheny to Native Americans. The area in its vicinity was settled in 1783. Various other industries and mills were constructed in the creek's vicinity from the late 18th century to the early 20th century. Wild trout naturally reproduce in part of Muncy Creek. Part of the creek is navigable by canoe.

Wolf Run is a tributary of Muncy Creek in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is 7.6 miles (12.2 km) in length. The stream flows through Wolf Township, Muncy Township, and Muncy Creek Township. The stream's watershed has an area of 10.8 square miles. Slightly over two million pounds of sediment flow through the stream every year. A fort existed near Wolf Run for several hundred years until the late 1800s or early 1900s. At least three bridges cross the stream.

Muncy Junior Senior High School is located at 200 W Penn Street, Muncy, Pennsylvania. In 2016, Muncy Junior Senior High School reported an enrollment of 435 pupils in grades 7th through 12th. It is part of the Muncy School District. High school students can attend the Lycoming Career and Technical Center for training in the building trades, drafting & design careers, criminal justice careers, allied health careers, culinary arts and other careers. The Muncy School District contracts with the BLaST Intermediate Unit #17 for services such as psychological testing, occupational and physical therapy services.

The Reading-Halls Station Bridge is an historic, American, Howe pony truss railroad bridge that is located in Muncy Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The 1938 Muncy Raft crash, also referred to as The Last Raft tragedy, was a rafting accident that occurred on March 20, 1938, in Muncy Township, Pennsylvania. It killed seven of the 45 people on board; the remaining 38 were rescued.

It is part of the Williamsport, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. Muncy is located on the West Branch Susquehanna River, just south of the confluence of Muncy Creek with the river. Currently the borough president is Bill Scott and the mayor is Jon Ort.
