Perche Creek

Providence is an unincorporated community in Boone County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. Providence was the main port on the Missouri River for supplies to headed to Columbia, Missouri. Providence Road in Columbia is named after the community.

Easley is an unincorporated community in Boone County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The last building remaining in Easley, a general store, was moved to the Boone County Historical Society and reconstructed. Easley is on both the Missouri River and Katy Trail.

Rock Bridge Township is one of ten townships in Boone County, Missouri, USA. As of the 2012 census, its population was 2,729. The township's major city is the village of McBaine.

Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area is a nature preserve and wetland in Boone County, Missouri. Located mainly in the Missouri River floodplain southwest of Columbia, Missouri and managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation, the wetlands are a refugee for migrating birds and home to several breeding pairs of bald eagles. The area is named after these eagles and the tall bluffs along the eastern edge of the Missouri River floodplain. Perche Creek flows through the refuge. McBaine, Missouri is located at the north entrance to the area. The Katy Trail State Park traverses the area. The conservation area was created after the Great Flood of 1993 destroyed farmland. Water for the wetlands is provided by the Missouri River, but also, an innovative system to supply wastewater from the City of Columbia's treatment plant.

Lupus is a city in Moniteau County, Missouri, United States. The population was 33 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jefferson City, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Devil's Icebox is a cave located in Rock Bridge Memorial State Park in Columbia, Missouri. It is said to be one of the longest caves in the state of Missouri and is one of the caves with the highest number of species in the state. It is currently closed to protect the endangered Indiana bat, and is the only known natural home of the species Kenkia glandulosa or pink planarian.

Cave Creek is a subterranean river in Boone County in the U.S. state of Missouri. The area of the stream is just west of Missouri Route 163 and about one half mile northwest of Pierpont.Cave Creek was named for the fact it flows through a cave. It is located in Rock Bridge State Park.

Clear Creek is a stream in Boone County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Little Bonne Femme Creek. The confluence is south of Columbia within the boundary of the Rock Bridge Memorial State Park adjacent to Missouri Route 163.Clear Creek was descriptively named on account of its clear water.

Pierpont is a village in Boone County, Missouri, United States. It is part of the Columbia, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 64 at the 2020 census. The village, located south of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park at Route N and Highway 163, was incorporated in 2004 to avoid annexation by the city of Columbia. It is now an independent village with its own governing board of trustees.

Turkey Creek is a stream in Boone County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Bonne Femme Creek. Turkey Creek was named for the wild turkeys along its course. It is one of three large creeks in Three Creeks Conservation Area.

McBaine is a village in Boone County, Missouri, United States. It is part of the Columbia, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 10 at the 2010 census. McBaine is located just north of Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area and within sight of The Big Tree.

Wilton is an unincorporated community in southwest Boone County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is on the northeast bank of the Missouri River across from the Marion Bottoms Conservation Area. Ashland lies approximately six miles to the northeast on Missouri Route M and Sandy Hook lies across the Missouri three miles to the west in Moniteau County. The lone business in Wilton is the Riverview Store, which serves the local community and users on the Katy Trail.
