Buttlers Hangings is a 3.9-hectare (9.6-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest north of West Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The site is steeply sloping grassland and scrub which has a wide variety of plant species. There are many rabbit burrows and a badger sett. Invertebrates include colonies of chalkland butterflies and four endangered Red Book spiders. Other insects include yellow meadow ants, thorn-hoppers and a rare weevil, Ceutorhynchus unguicularis. Fourteen snail species have been recorded.There is access by footpaths from West Wycombe Hill and Slough Lane.

Bradenham Woods, Park Wood and The Coppice is a 129.1-hectare (319-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Bradenham in Buckinghamshire. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and it is described in A Nature Conservation Review. The site is part of the Bradenham Estate, which is owned by the National Trust. It is also designated a Special Area of Conservation. Grim's Ditch, a Scheduled Monument, runs through the site.The site is mainly beech woodland, with a rich ground flora including rare species. Twenty-eight species of butterfly have been recorded. There are also areas of chalk grassland.There is permanent access to the site.

Loosley Row is a hamlet in the civil parish of Lacey Green, Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Chiltern Hills to the east of the main town of Princes Risborough. In the 2011 Census, the population was recorded in the Lacey Green Parish, which included Speen, parts of Walter's Ash, and Lacey Green, with a combined population of 2,559.The hamlet sits on a west-facing chalk escarpment, that stretches to north-eastwards to Coombe Hill.

Bledlow Ridge is a village in the civil parish of Bledlow-cum-Saunderton in Buckinghamshire, England. In 2004 the population was 940. It is situated in the Chiltern Hills, about 4 miles SSW of Princes Risborough and on the road between the High Wycombe and Chinnor. Originally the hamlet was within the ecclesiastical parish of Bledlow. It gained separate status in 1868 when the new chapel, dedicated to St Paul, was constructed. In common with other similar villages in the Chiltern Hills properties have become increasingly sought after due to its location and the improvement in rail and road connections to London. It has a recently refurbished village shop, The Country Store Kedai, and a local school, Bledlow Ridge School. Bledlow Ridge has a number of clubs including the youth club "Bridge", Bledlow Ridge Lawn Tennis Club, and Bledlow Ridge Cricket Club. As well as the corner shop, there is also an Equestrian Centre, children's playground, tennis courts and a cricket pitch. Yoesden, south of Chinnor Road, is a nature reserve managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.

Lacey Green is a village and civil parish in the Buckinghamshire district, south-east of Princes Risborough, in the ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire, England. It is in the Chiltern Hills above the town. The settlement was known as Leasy Green in the early 19th century. Hamlets within the parish include Loosley Row, Speen, Wardrobes and Parslow's Hillock.RAF Bomber Command commandeered agricultural land for an airfield during World War II. The land has since reverted to agriculture, the school playing field and the village sports ground.The church of St John the Evangelist was built in 1822–1825, at first as a chapel of ease; the chancel was added in 1871 to designs of J. P. Seddon, with coloured brick to the interior. The parish is within the area of the Risborough team ministry. Primitive Methodists built a chapel on the main road around 1842, which remained in use until 2001.The village has a shop, sports club, village hall and a primary school. There are three pubs: the Black Horse in the village, the Whip Inn at Loosley and the Pink and Lily at Parslow's Hillock. It is twinned with Hambye, France. Lacey Green was home to the chef Heston Blumenthal, whose parents used to own amusement arcades in the area.

Royal Air Force High Wycombe or more simply RAF High Wycombe is a Royal Air Force station, situated in the village of Walters Ash, near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England. It houses Headquarters Air Command, and was originally designed to house RAF Bomber Command in the late 1930s. The station is also the headquarters of the European Air Group and the United Kingdom Space Command. The location of the station was originally suggested by Wing Commander Alan Oakeshott when the Air Ministry was seeking a new, secure, site for Bomber Command away from London. Wing Commander Oakeshott was killed in combat in 1942 and is commemorated on the Naphill War Memorial and in the name of the station's welfare centre, opened in 2011. The motto of RAF High Wycombe in Latin is 'Non Sibi', which translates as 'not for ourselves'.

The A4010 is an important primary north–south road in Buckinghamshire, Southern England. It runs from High Wycombe at Junction 4 of the M40 motorway to Stoke Mandeville, near Aylesbury on the A413.

Lodge Hill is a 31.8-hectare (79-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Bledlow Ridge in Buckinghamshire. The local planning authorities are Wycombe District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council. The site is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and The Ridgeway long-distance footpath crosses it.There is evidence of prehistoric activity on the site. There are two late Neolithic or early Bronze Age round barrows, with fragments of Beaker culture pottery. There is also the remains of an Iron Age settlement.The site is chalk grassland and scrub which is notable for its invertebrates, including butterflies. It has a rare snail, Abide secale, and populations of badgers and slowworms.

Walters Ash (also sometimes called Walter's Ash) is a village in the parish of Bradenham, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Chiltern Hills, to the west of the main village, adjacent to Naphill. Between 1983 and 1985 there was a peace camp outside RAF High Wycombe station. This was to protest about the RAF bunker on National Trust land designated a place of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty. There is also a water reservoir which was constructed at the same time. In February 2014 a sink hole opened under the drive of a bungalow and a car disappeared down it. The village is 32 miles (51 km) west of London and 3.92 miles (6.31 km) north west of High Wycombe.

Bottom Wood is a 14.5-hectare (36-acre) woodland in the English county of Buckinghamshire, located just north of the A40 near the hamlet of Studley Green. Since 1984, the wood has been owned by the Chiltern Society, which manages it as a nature reserve with the help of volunteers. Although an ancient woodland, most of the trees in the wood date from the end of the 1940s or later, as much of the wood was felled during the Second World War to produce Bryant and May matches. The wood is now home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including rare species of butterfly and moth.

Yoesden, often known as Yoesden Bank, is a 13-hectare (32-acre) nature reserve in Bledlow Ridge in Buckinghamshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The site has areas of woodland and grassland. The steeply sloping chalk meadow has many species of butterfly, including three scarce blue species, the Adonis, chalkhill and small blue. There are flowers such as common spotted and fragrant orchids. Beech woodland above the chalk bank supports great spotted woodpeckers and red kites, and lower woodland has beech and yews.There is access by a footpath from Chinnor Road near the Boot public house. The Chiltern Way goes through the site.
