The Riverside Baptist Church (RBC) is a historic church in Jacksonville, Florida. It is located at 2650 Park Street in the Riverside neighborhood. Designed by architect Addison Mizner and completed in 1926, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 22, 1972. On April 18, 2012, the American Institute of Architects's Florida Chapter placed the building on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places.

The George F. Bensel House is a historic residence built in 1912 in Jacksonville, Florida. It was designed by Wilbur B. Talley. Bensel, president of Southern States Land & Timber, was the original owner. The house is located at 2165 River Boulevard and is considered to be in the prairie architecture style.

The Sun-Ray Cinema at 5 Points, formerly known as Riverside Theater and 5 Points Theatre, is a historic two-screen movie theater in Jacksonville, Florida. The first theater in Florida equipped to show talking pictures, it opened in March 1927 in the Five Points district of the Riverside and Avondale neighborhood.

Riverside High School is a four-year secondary institution in Jacksonville, Florida. It was originally named after Confederate States of America general Robert E. Lee. Located in the Riverside and Avondale neighborhood, it is the second oldest high school in Jacksonville operating at its original location, after its traditional rival, Andrew Jackson High School. The name was changed to Riverside High School in 2021. Riverside is part of the Duval County magnet school program. Eligible students at the school can earn concurrent credit through the Jacksonville Early College High School program. They receive high school credits from the school and college credit from Florida State College at Jacksonville (F.S.C.J) for the same courses. Riverside students can also specialize in courses through the Engineering Academy or the Math and Science Magnet Program. In addition, there is a Liberal Arts curriculum. The Early College, Engineering, Math and Science, plus Liberal Arts courses of study are known as the school's four learning communities.Riverside is one of 20 high schools in the Duval County Public Schools. Riverside, like all other district schools, is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

The Woman's Club of Jacksonville was an historic woman's club in Jacksonville, Florida. It was located at 861 Riverside Avenue, next to the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. On November 3, 1992, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.Ninah Cummer donated the land and the Tudor-style building was constructed in 1927 to serve the Woman's Club of Jacksonville. The original 13,264 square-foot building was designed and built in the same style as Cummer's adjacent estate at her request. The structure was designed by architect Mellen Clark Greeley.The Woman's Club of Jacksonville was instrumental in advocating for women's suffrage and other issues.The building served as home to the Woman's Club of Jacksonville until November 2005. The Cummer Museum acquired the Woman's Club of Jacksonville in February 2005.The Woman's Club donated their records to the Jacksonville Historical Society. The building was purchased in 2008 and the exterior was renovated at a total cost of $7 million. Due to extreme termite damage discovered in 2016 the building was demolished.

Public School Number Four (later renamed Annie Lytle Elementary School) is an abandoned elementary school in Jacksonville, Florida. It was first established in 1918 as Riverside Grammar School and was Duval County's fourth public school house. Public School Number Four was designated a historic landmark by the Jacksonville City Council in 2000. The abandoned school is also said to be haunted.

The Lime Street fire refers to both a deadly 1990 conflagration at a residence in Jacksonville, Florida, and to the resultant investigation that restaged a similar fire in a nearby building. Six people, including two women (one who was pregnant) and four young children, were trapped inside the house and killed. Gerald Lewis, who escaped the fire with his three-year-old son, was initially charged with arson, manslaughter, and six counts of first-degree murder, the last of which could have garnered a death sentence. After a large-scale recreation was staged in an abandoned house near the original site, it was proven that accelerant was not necessary to create long-believed classic signs of arson such as pour patterns. The charges against Lewis were dropped, and the Lime Street fire has since become a seminal case in contemporary fire investigation. The podcast Criminal produced an episode about the fire and subsequent investigation, "527 Lime Street."

Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church was a Roman Catholic parish located in the Lackawanna neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. The church was built in 1915 and closed in 2002. It remained abandoned for a few years, until being renovated to serve as a community center and now an event venue renamed as Riverside North.

The Fuller Warren Bridge is the prestressed-concrete girder bridge that carries Interstate 95 (I-95) across the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. The current structure was finished in October 2002, replacing the original bascule-bridge span, finished in 1954. The current bridge was designed by HNTB Corporation in 1990 and built by Balfour Beatty Construction. It is over 7,500 ft (2,286 m) long, with a main span of 250 feet (76 m), and a vertical clearance of 75 ft (23 m). It carries eight lanes across the span. In the Spring of 2018 a construction project began to add two more lanes and a shared-use path to the bridge, with anticipated completion in Summer 2022. The eastern end of the transcontinental Interstate 10 (I-10) meets I-95 just west of the bridge.

WJNJ (1320 AM) is a commercial radio station in Jacksonville, Florida. It is owned by Norsan Media, and airs a Spanish AC radio format. WJNJ broadcasts with 16,000 watts by day using a non-directional antenna. At night, to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 1320, it drops its power to 80 watts and uses a directional antenna. It uses a non-directional antenna at all times. Listeners can also hear WJNJ’s programming on 103.7 MHz via FM translator station W279AG in Atlantic Beach, Florida.

The Lane-Towers House is a historic home in Jacksonville, Florida. It is located at 3730 Richmond Street. On November 10, 1982, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
