Peña Adobe

Peña Adobe Park (Peña Adobe Regional Park) is a 8-acre park in Vacaville, California in Solano Count. The Peña Adobe Regional Park is at 4699 Pena Adobe Road, Vacaville. Peña Adobe Regional Park has a Vaca-Peña Adobe Visitor Center and has 40 miles of trails. Peña Adobe Park is in the 306-acre Lagoon Valley Park. The parks were part of Juan Felipe Peña land grant Rancho Los Putos. The park is both a recreational park and place with historical sites.

Temelec Hall is historical building built in 1858, in Sonoma, California in Sonoma County, California. The Temelec Hall is a California Historical Landmark No. 496 listed on June 10, 1936. Temelec Hall is also a National Register of Historic Places April 19, 2006. Temelec Hall was built by Captain Granville P. Swift (1821-1875), a member of the Bear Flag Party and took part in the short Mexican–American War in 1846–1848. Swift was the great-grandnephew to Daniel Boone. Swift found gold in 1949 California Gold Rush. With the gold, Swift built the building with stone quarried here by native labor. General Persifor Frazer Smith, a United States Army commander in lived in a small house near Temelec Hall in 1849. After Swift Temelec Hall was sold a few times. In 1915 it was sold to the Coblentz family, who restored the run down building. Coblentz family sold the Hall and it lands in 1961, to a developer. The developer built the Temelec retirement community with the Hall as historical centerpiece.A historical marker is at Temelec Hall, placed by the by Native Sons of the Golden West in 2008.

Trinity Baptist Church is a Baptist Christian church in Vacaville, California. It is notable for its annual Christmastime Live Nativity event featuring singers, actors, and live animals. In 2016, Trinity Baptist Church expanded its facilities with a new foyer.Everett Nourse, who was inducted into the American Theater Organ Society Hall of Fame in 1998, was the longtime organist at Trinity Baptist Church.Trinity Baptist Church's current Senior Pastor is Greg Davidson, but the church was pastored for 43 years by Milton Steck who retired in 2014.

The Will H. Buck House is a historic building in Vacaville, California, United States. Designed by George Sharpe, it was built in 1892 in the Queen Anne style and was placed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on October 24, 1985.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The listing included one other historically contributing building.It is a two-story 32 by 44 feet (9.8 m × 13.4 m) building.

Will C. Wood High School is a high school in the Vacaville Unified School District located in Vacaville, California, serving the south side of the city and the unincorporated community of Elmira. First opening its doors in September 1969, it was a middle school until the 1988–1989 school year. That was when the conversion to a high school began and had its first graduating class in 1992. The school has seen two major improvement projects, based on funding from Measure V passed in 2003, improving physical education facilities and adding the science wing, and Measure A passed in 2014, which finally gave Will C. Wood their own stadium.

Cement, California is a mining and manufacturing ghost town in Solano County now enveloped within the boundaries of the United States city of Fairfield. Cement was established as a company town at the turn of the 20th century and it quickly became a boomtown. It was founded and owned by the Pacific Portland Cement Company, who produced Portland cement that was bagged and labeled under the company's "Golden Gate" trademarked brand. It was shuttered in 1927, structures and equipment were auctioned off, and its remains are now in ruins or were moved away.

Rancho Tolenas was a 13,316-acre (5,389-hectare) Mexican land grant in present-day Solano County and Napa County, California given in 1840 by Governor Juan Bautista Alvarado to José Francisco Armijo. The grant was north east of present-day Fairfield and was bounded on the south by Rancho Suisun.
