Re Umberto is a Turin Metro station, located near the intersection between Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Corso Re Umberto. It was part of the Line 1 extension from XVIII Dicembre to Porta Nuova opened on 5 October 2007.The platforms feature decals by Ugo Nespolo, depicting Umberto I of Italy's reign's most significant moments.

The International University College of Turin, or IUC Turin, is an independent University founded in 2006 with a grant from the Compagnia di San Paolo and Consiglio Nazionale del Notariato. Torino Porta Nuova railway station (IATA: TPY) is the main railway station of Turin, northern Italy. It is the third busiest station in Italy for passenger flow after Rome Termini and Milan Central, with about 192,000 journeys per day and 70 million travellers a year and a total of about 350 trains per day. Porta Nuova is a terminal station, with trains arriving perpendicularly to the facade. The station is located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, right in front of Piazza Carlo Felice (in the South side of the city centre). Trains between Turin and Milan start or finish at the station, including services using the Turin–Milan high-speed line. A metro station, which is part of Turin Metro (Metropolitana di Torino) line 1, has been recently built under the station building.

The monument to Vittorio Emanuele II is located in Turin, in the Largo of the same name, at the junction between Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Corso Galileo Ferraris.It is dedicated to Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of Italy. It was wanted by his son, King Umberto I, and paid him at his own expense. The monument, in bronze and granite, is the work of architect Pietro Costa. It was erected between 1882 and 1899, through many contrasts with the Turin municipal government. It was inaugurated on September 9, 1899, twenty years after the death of the king. The festivities were great on the day of the inauguration; Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Rome were illuminated at party. The king's statue rises majestically on tall Doric columns. In the sculptural groups at the base of the monument are unity, brotherhood, work and freedom. The monument reaches a considerable height of 39 meters. Its height is popularly called "the King on the Roofs" or "Barba Vigiu".

Torre XX Settembre, in Turin, is one of the earliest examples of Modernist skyscraper in Italy. The building was designed in 1939 by Gino Salvestrini and Gabriello Gabrielli di Quercita. Because of the outbreak of the Second World War, however, works started only in 1947 and were completed in 1951. The high-rise building, also called Torre Santa Teresa or Grattacielo Santa Teresa, is located at the corner between via Santa Teresa and via XX Settembre, in central Turin. It owes its name to the day that marks the capture of Rome (20 September 1870), an event that was much celebrated by the Fascist Regime, during which time the building was originally designed. Its volume is clearly visible from Piazza San Carlo and was conceived as a Modernist counterpoint to the Baroque square. The building is composed of a 14-floor vertical structure and a 5-floor horizontal structure. Both structures are entirely covered by white limestone tesserae, with the exception of the two lowest floors where green marble and metal walls can be seen. Its western façade borders the small square in front of the church of Santa Teresa. The dimensional proportion between the windows and the built mass reflects the architectural theories of Italian rationalism, while decoration of interior common spaces can be considered a late example of Art Deco style.

The Turin Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (Italian - Galleria civica d'arte moderna e contemporanea di Torino or GAM Torino) is an art gallery in Turin, Italy, founded in 1891-1895 and located in 31 via Magenta. With the MAO (Museo d'arte orientale), Palazzo Madama e Casaforte degli Acaja (Museo civico d'arte antica), the Borgo and the Rocca medioevali, it forms part of the Fondazione Torino Musei. The lower rooms house important reviews and a large collection of video art. It houses the city's permanent collections of 19th and 20th century art, which consist of over 47,000 paintings, sculptures, art installations and pieces of video art. Artists represented include Antonio Canova, Giovanni Fattori, Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, Antonio Mancini, Giacomo Balla, Paul Klee, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Giorgio de Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Nino Franchina and Domenico Valinotti.
