Dallas Brooks Hall

Established in 1937, Epworth Freemasons (formerly the Freemasons Hospital), located at 166 Clarendon St in East Melbourne, was a practical expression of the work of Freemasonry in the Victorian community. It is now run by Epworth Healthcare. It is a non-government, not-for-profit, charitable institution providing a range of inpatient and ambulatory care services including: Women's and related health services including maternity, women's health and breast clinics, breast and gynaecological surgery and IVF. Surgical services including general surgery, urology, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology and ENT. Comprehensive cancer care covering diagnosis, surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In October 2006 the hospital was purchased by ING Real Estate, which immediately leased the hospital to Epworth Healthcare. One immediate effect was the merging of two emergency departments, the previous Freemason's Emergency was closed while Epworth Richmond's still operates. The now Epworth Freemasons Hospital still operates as a hospital. The site is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.

Cathedral College, East Melbourne was an all-boy, Catholic high school, run by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, and located on Victoria Parade, at the intersection of Eades Street, in East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was on the former site of the Christian Brother's school, Parade College, which had been relocated to Bundoora in 1968. and St Kevin's College, which moved to Toorak in 1932. Cathedral College operated at the Victoria Parade location from 1968 and 1995, teaching classes from year 5 to year 10 & accommodated approximately 300 boys. It was home to the renowned St Patrick's Cathedral Choir from 1968 until the schools closure, when the choristers moved to St Kevin's College. The Catholic Theological College currently operates on a part of the former college site, with the remainder, the original St Kevin's College building on Albert St, having been converted to apartments.

Mannix Library is an academic theological library located in East Melbourne, Australia. The library specialises in the areas of theology, philosophy, biblical studies and associated disciplines, and supports teaching and research at Catholic Theological College and the wider University of Divinity. The student body includes candidates for ordination, lay men and women, undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree by research students, and members of the general public. The library uses OCLC's World Share Management System.

The Fitzroy Gardens are 26 hectares (64 acres) located on the southeastern edge of the Melbourne Central Business District in East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The gardens are bounded by Clarendon Street, Albert Street, Lansdowne Street, and Wellington Parade with the Treasury Gardens across Lansdowne street to the west. The gardens are one of the major Victorian era landscaped gardens in Australia and add to Melbourne's claim to being the garden city of Australia. Set within the gardens are an ornamental lake, a scarred tree, a visitor information centre and cafe, a conservatory, Cooks' Cottage (a house where the parents of James Cook lived, brought from England in the 1930s), tree-lined avenues, a model Tudor village, a band pavilion, a rotunda, the "Fairies' Tree", fountains and sculptures.

Gertrude Contemporary is a contemporary art complex located in Melbourne, Australia. The organisation was founded in 1985 and is located at 21-31 High St, Preston South. It also has a satellite exhibition space, Gertrude Glasshouse, at 44 Glasshouse Rd, Collingwood. The gallery was previously located in the suburb of Fitzroy.Gertrude Contemporary's programs include exhibitions across the two gallery sites, studio residencies for local and international artists and education and public programs. The Gertrude Contemporary Studio Program hosts 16 artists for a period of two years.The current Co-Directors of Gertrude Contemporary are Mark Feary, Artistic Director, and Christine Tipton, Director, Business and Operations. The Bionics Institute of Australia is a biomedical research institute focusing on medical bionics that creates, designs, evaluates and improves bionic devices that interface with the human body to restore impaired sensory or other nervous system and bodily functions. The Bionics Institute is located in Melbourne, Australia. The Bionics Institute is made up of researchers, engineers, technicians and students working closely with clinicians to pioneer new technologies that address the unmet needs of patients living with hearing loss, tinnitus, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, balance and movement disorders, stroke, inflammatory bowel disease, and urinary incontinence. The institute is dedicated to translational research leading to clinical outcomes. Examples of clinical trials in which the institute has been involved include; completion of the Bionic Vision Australia trial of the prototype bionic eye; an evaluation of a novel stimulation method to improve speech perception in cochlear implant patients; in early 2020, the first patients in a first-in-human clinical trial were implanted with a device called Minder™, designed to provide clinicians with an accurate and long-term record of epileptic seizures; in late 2020, a clinical trial is due to commence with a novel device to detect gut inflammation.

Bishopscourt is a large colonial mansion located on Clarendon Street in East Melbourne, Australia. Designed by Newson & Blackburn using blue stone in a style of gothic architecture, it was completed in 1853. The red brick wing was added in 1903. Since completion, it has been used as the residence for all of Melbourne's Anglican diocesan bishops and archbishops. From 1874 to 1876 it was used as Victoria's Government House. The house is on the Victorian Heritage Register.

The Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre, commonly abbreviated to Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, from 2013 to 2021 drew together all of Australia and New Zealand's fire and emergency service authorities, land management agencies, as well as non-government organisations and leading experts across a range of scientific fields to explore the causes, consequences and mitigation of natural disasters. The CRC had special focus on the human, infrastructure, and governance aspects of natural hazards including: earthquake, tsunami, flood, cyclone, and bushfire.

St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church (Macedonian: Македонска Православна Црква „Св. Ѓорѓи“, Makedonska Pravoslavna Crkva „Sv. Ǵorǵi“) was a Macedonian Orthodox church located in Fitzroy, a suburb of inner Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. St. George was the first independent Macedonian Orthodox church built (1959) within Australia and outside of the Republic of Macedonia.

The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, also known as the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute and commonly abbreviated as Peter Mac, is an Australian oncology research institute, cancer treatment and professional oncologist training centre located in Melbourne, Victoria. The centre is named in honour of Sir Peter MacCallum. Since June 2016, the centre has been located within the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) in Parkville.The centre is Australia's first public hospital dedicated to cancer treatment, research and education.Research programs at the centre include the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) Cancer Cell Biology Program and the ACRF Victorian Centre for Functional Genomics in Cancer.
