Farnham is a village and civil parish about 3 miles (4.8 km) south-west of Saxmundham in the English county of Suffolk on the A12 road. Farnham is located west of Friday Street, south of Benhall Low Street and north-east of Stratford St Andrew.

The area is one of the few remaining areas of lowland dry heathland in the Suffolk Sandlings and is managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust as a nature reserve.The Blaxhall Stone is a large stone located at Stone Farm which, according to local legend, has been constantly increasing in size since it was dug up in the 19th century.Blaxhall is the subject of the book Ask the Fellows who Cut the Hay by the historian George Ewart Evans. It describes rural life in the village.

Glemham Hall is an Elizabethan stately home, set in around 300 acres (120 ha) of park land on the outskirts of the village of Little Glemham in Suffolk, England. It is a Grade I listed building, properly called Little Glemham Hall.

Benhall Green is a village in Suffolk, England. Benhall Green has a ford over the Fromus - which can be treacherous during heavy rains - and several protected wildlife sites, including the Wadd. The village also has a St Mary's Benhall Primary school, rated excellent by Ofsted [1], a new wooden play area, swings and slides, a phone box, and a noticeboard. There is a small farm shop on the A12 just outside the village, the Railway Farm Shop. In the village is a cottage built in 1698 with distinctive pargeting.

Gromford Meadow is a 1.7-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gromford, south of Saxmundham in Suffolk.This unimproved base-rich meadow is fed by springs. It has diverse flora with meadowsweet dominant, and other plants include yellow rattle, meadow foxtail, ragged robin, marsh thistle and lesser spearwort.The site is private land with no public access.

SET Saxmundham School (formerly Saxmundham Free School) is a free school in Saxmundham, Suffolk, East Anglia, with approximately 309 pupils. It was rated "good" by Ofsted in May 2014. In March 2018 Ofsted carried out a short inspection of the school where it maintained its "good" rating. It opened in 2012 with 105 pupils out of a total of 312 places available. The school now has 600 places available. In June 2023 the Seckford Education Trust announced it would be closing the school in August 2024.

Blaxhall Common is a nature reserve in the parish of Blaxhall in the East Suffolk District of Suffolk. The reserve is owned by Blaxhall Parish Council and managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. It is designated a 45.9-hectare (113-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest as Blaxhall Heath. It is part of the Sandlings Special Protection Area under the European Union Directive on the Conservation of Wild Birds, and of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A Bronze Age bowl barrow is a Scheduled Monument.

Snape Priory was a priory in Suffolk, England. It was founded as a cell of the Benedictine St John's Abbey, Colchester in Essex.Cardinal Wolsey obtained a Papal Bull for the suppression of this house in 1527–28, towards his foundation of The King's School, Ipswich. After Wolsey's attainder and fall, the priory site and its possessions were granted to Thomas, Duke of Norfolk in 1532.
