Track Record Studios is a recording studio, originally established around 1970 and located in North Hollywood, California. Many gold or platinum records were recorded or mixed at Track Record: The Offspring's Ignition and the follow-up Smash (which has gone platinum six times), Emmylou Harris' Roses in the Snow, Megadeth's Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Mother's Milk, Jane's Addiction's Ritual de lo Habitual, Social Distortion's self-titled third album, Blink-182's Dude Ranch, Wu-Tang Clan's The W, Aerosmith's Nine Lives, Evanescence's Fallen, Aaliyah's One in a Million, Goo Goo Dolls' Dizzy Up the Girl, Maroon 5's Songs About Jane, Tori Amos' Little Earthquakes, Kiss' Revenge and Quincy Jones' Q's Jook Joint.Snoop Dogg recorded his first two albums, Doggystyle and Tha Doggfather, at Track Record as did Tupac Shakur for the sessions of two of his posthumous releases R U Still Down? (Remember Me) and Still I Rise, the collaboration with Outlawz. Other clients that have recorded or mixed at the studio include Slayer, Corrosion of Conformity, Trouble, Bad Religion, Agent Orange, Face to Face, Fates Warning, The Bouncing Souls, Ignite, SNFU, Sacred Reich, School of Fish, Cypress Hill, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Run–D.M.C., System of a Down, Iggy Pop, Mötley Crüe, Limp Bizkit, Chicago, Scorpions, Foreigner, 7 Seconds, Mary J. Blige, Jessica Simpson, Avenged Sevenfold, John Fogerty, Courtney Love, Kid Rock, Pat Benatar, White Zombie, Brandy, Tito Puente, Coolio, Black Label Society, Dwight Yoakam, Pink and Dishwalla. Studio was purchased by Paramount Recording Studios in 2010.

California Laundry was an early 1920s business in Hollywood, California, and in its day, possibly the city's largest business institution outside of the film studios. It was located on Vine Street. At the time it was established, the California Laundry was one of the few laundry businesses in the country in which each machine was driven by an individual motor, eliminating the possibility of a breakdown which would cripple the entire plant. The machinery used in the California Laundry was the largest single shipment of laundry apparatus ever sent to the Pacific coast.

The Elephant Theatre Company was a non-profit theatre company based in Hollywood. The company "built a reputation for championing new American plays" and ceased operation in September 2015.

The Steve Allen Playhouse was a vaudeville and film theater in Hollywood, California. Located at 1228 North Vine Street, on the corner of La Mirada, it was originally named the La Mirada Theatre, and later the Filmarte Theatre.

Tekeyan Cultural Association Arshag Dickranian Armenian School (Armenian: Արշակ Տիգրանյան վարժարան) was a private K-12 Armenian school in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The board of directors announced in 2015 that the school was closing.

Villa Elaine Apartments, also known as Villa Elaine Complex or Villa Elaine, is a historic apartment complex located at 1241-1249 N. Vine Street in Hollywood, California.

Agfa Ansco Corporation Building is a historic commercial building located at 6424 West Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, California. It was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 2019.

The Hollywood Studio Club was a chaperoned dormitory, sometimes referred to as a sorority, for young women involved in the motion picture business from 1916 to 1975. Located in the heart of Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, the Studio Club was run by the YWCA and housed some 10,000 women during its 59-year existence. It was the home at various times to many Hollywood celebrities, including Marilyn Monroe, Ayn Rand, Donna Reed, Kim Novak, Maureen O'Sullivan, Rita Moreno, Barbara Eden, and Sharon Tate. The building was designed in the Italian Renaissance Revival architectural style by noted California architect Julia Morgan, who also designed Hearst Castle. The Studio Club closed in 1975, and the building was used as a YWCA-run Job Corps dormitory until April 30, 2012. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and remains the property of the YWCA Greater Los Angeles.

Gower Street is a street in Los Angeles, California that has played an important role in the ongoing evolution of Hollywood, particularly as the home to several prominent Poverty Row studios during the area's Golden Age. It marks the eastern terminus of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study is one of three Los Angeles-area facilities of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, located at 1313 Vine Street in central Hollywood. The Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study was named in honor of legendary silent film actress Mary Pickford in 2002. Pickford was one of the founding members of the Academy. In addition to the 286-seat Linwood Dunn Theater where numerous public events are presented throughout the year, the building houses several Academy departments, including the Academy Film Archive, the Science and Technology Council, and the Grants and Nicholl Fellowship programs. The building, originally dedicated on August 18, 1948, as studios for the Mutual-Don Lee Broadcasting System, is the oldest surviving structure in Hollywood that was designed specifically with television in mind.

The Complex is a Hollywood, California theatre that closed in 2022. A Spanish Colonial Revival style building, The Complex was built in 1928. The Complex was home to the Hollywood Fringe Festival for many years. The Complex was also where actor George Clooney made his theatrical debut in the 1986 play Vicious about the life of Sex Pistols musician Sid Vicious.

The Pack Theater is a theatre based in Los Angeles, California, specializing in improv and sketch comedy. In addition, the theatre operates a school for developing improv and comedy talent. The Pack Theater grew out of the Miles Stroth Workshop, "focused on advanced training for improv comedians." Miles Stroth, a former student of Del Close, founded the workshop in 2007 after leaving his teaching job at iO West. He spun the workshop into a theatre working from a 50-seat black box in 2016.For each of its first four years, 2016–19, the Pack has hosted its own comedy festival, Pack Con. Pack Con performers have included Bob Odenkirk, Adam McKay, and The Whitest Kids U Know.
