Fonderie Darling is a contemporary art complex located in the Cité du Multimédia district of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located in a former foundry, the complex consists of an art gallery and artists studios. Its mission is to support the creation, production, and dissemination of visual art; it seeks at once to question the role of art and artists in the heart of the city, and to promote that role.

On April 25, 1944, a Royal Air Force Liberator B Mark VI en route to Britain via Gander, Newfoundland crashed into the Griffintown neighborhood in downtown Montreal, Quebec minutes after taking off from Dorval Airport. The five-member crew and ten civilians on the ground were killed, and a large fire destroyed at least 10 homes.

The Poste Adélard-Godbout is a 120 kV electrical substation in Old Montreal. Canada's oldest substation, it has been in continuous operation since 1901. It contains two stories above ground and one below ground. It has a facade in clay brick with grey stone ornaments. Designed by Maurice Perrault, it was built between 1901 and 1904. Initially it received 12 kV current from the now defunct Lachine hydroelectric generating station. Later it received 25 kV from a generating station in Chambly (demolished in 1964).It was built by the Montreal Light, Heat & Power Company (MLHPC) and became the property of Hydro-Québec in 1944 during the nationalization of Quebec's electrical infrastructure.Originally Poste Central-1, in 2007 it was renamed after former Premier of Quebec Adélard Godbout on the 50th anniversary of his death.

McGill Street (officially in French: rue McGill) is a street in Montreal named after James McGill after whom McGill University is named. The former head office building of Canadian National Railway Company, built for its predecessor Grand Trunk Railway, still stands on McGill Street and is now occupied by Quebec government offices. In 1871, an advertisement for the Albion Hotel in an Ottawa newspaper called McGill Street "the great thoroughfare and commercial centre of the city". The McCord Museum of Canadian History refers to the street as "an important artery in Montreal."The Quartier International de Montréal (Montreal's international district) describes McGill Street as "the link between the strategic sectors of the Old Port, Old Montreal, the Cité Multimedia and the Quartier international."The Montreal station of the Montreal and Southern Counties Railway interurban streetcar line was located on McGill Street. The station building is still standing, although no longer used for transportation purposes. McGill Street runs from Victoria Square south to rue de la Commune in the Old Port, at the head of the Lachine Canal. North of Victoria Square, the street transitions to Beaver Hall Hill.

École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) is a public engineering faculty in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1974, the École de technologie supérieure is a constituent of Université du Québec system. Specialized in applied teaching in engineering and technology transfer to companies, where professors, engineers and researchers who are recognized for their practical, industrial and innovative approaches. In any given year, 25% of all engineers receiving a diploma from an engineering school or faculty in the province of Quebec graduate from the ÉTS. Hence, it is ranked first in Quebec and second in Canada for the total number of engineering diplomas awarded annually.

Victoria sur le Parc is a mixed-use skyscraper under construction in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is named for its location just south of Victoria Square in the city's downtown core. When completed in 2023, Victoria sur le Parc will become the tallest residential building in Montreal, and tied with the then completed 800 Saint-Jacques Street West as the third tallest building in Montreal.

The Consulate General of Sweden, Montreal was the diplomatic mission of Sweden in Montreal between 1916 and 1993. The consulate general originated from the consulate opened in 1906, which was converted into a consulate general in 1916. The consulate general tasks was to advance the interests of Sweden, and to serve and protect Swedes in Montreal and in different provinces and territories of Canada. Along with those in Chicago, Houston, Minneapolis, New York City, and San Francisco, the consulate general belonged to the so-called "heritage consulates" due to the large number of inheritance cases it handled. The consulate general's district comprised the whole of Canada until 1983. Between 1983 and 1991, divisions of the district occurred between the Swedish consulate general in Montreal, the consulate general in Toronto, and the consulate in Vancouver. From 1991 until its closure in 1993, the district consisted of Montreal and Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The consulate general in Montreal closed in 1993, and since then, a Swedish honorary consulate has been operating in the city.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA ) is a trade association of the world's airlines founded in 1945. Consisting in 2016 of 290 airlines, primarily major carriers, representing 117 countries, the IATA's member airlines account for carrying approximately 82% of total available seat miles air traffic. IATA supports airline activity and helps formulate industry policy and standards. It is headquartered in Canada in the city of Montréal, with executive offices in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Tour de la Bourse (English: Stock Exchange Tower) is a 48-storey skyscraper in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Victoria Square and Saint Jacques Street in the International Quarter. It is connected by the underground city to the Square-Victoria-OACI Metro Station. When completed in 1964, the tower was the tallest building in Canada, a title it held until surpassed by the Toronto-Dominion Centre in 1967. It is currently the third tallest in Montreal and the twenty-fifth tallest building in the country. The Tour de la Bourse was designed by Luigi Moretti and Pier Luigi Nervi and is considered to be of the International Style. It is one of very few buildings in Canada to have its own postal code prefix, H4Z.

The McGill Street Terminal is a former interurban railway station located in Montreal, Quebec. It is located on the corner of Rue Marguerite-d'Youville and McGill Street. The building today houses a branch of Restaurant Pizzaiolle, a local pizza restaurant chain. Although the words Gare Union have been placed above the building's main entrance, the building has never been known by this name and never served as a union station.

The Quartier international de Montréal (QIM) or Montreal's International District is a district of the Ville-Marie borough in the city's downtown core of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is roughly bordered by René-Levesque Boulevard to the north, Notre-Dame Street to the south, De Bleury/Saint-Pierre Street to the east and Robert-Bourassa Boulevard to the west. The Palais des congrès (Congress Hall) building lying just east of the district is also usually comprised in it. Constructed dispersedly between 1965 and 1985 in place of older colonial housing blocks, the district underwent major urban renewal as a central business district in 2000–2003.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA; French: Agence mondiale antidopage, AMA) is a foundation initiated by the International Olympic Committee based in Canada to promote, coordinate, and monitor the fight against drugs in sports. The agency's key activities include scientific research, education, development of anti-doping capacities, and monitoring of the World Anti-Doping Code, whose provisions are enforced by the UNESCO International Convention Against Doping in Sport. The aims of the Council of Europe Anti-Doping Convention and the United States Anti-Doping Agency are also closely aligned with those of WADA.
