Canton of Trégueux

Trégueux (French pronunciation: [tʁeɡø] ; Breton: Tregaeg) is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France.

Saint-Brieuc Armor Agglomération is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Saint-Brieuc. It is located in the Côtes-d'Armor department, in the Brittany region, western France. It was created in January 2017. Its seat is in Saint-Brieuc. Its area is 600.7 km2 (231.9 sq mi). Its population was 151,733 in 2017, of which 44,372 in Saint-Brieuc proper.

Langueux (French pronunciation: [lɑ̃gø]; Breton: Langaeg) is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France.

The Corrida de Langueux is an annual 10 kilometres road running competition which is held in Langueux, Brittany, France, every June. The competition is organised by the Union Athlétique Langueux. The elite 10K races for men and women have IAAF Bronze Label Road Race status. The race was selected to be the French 10K championship race in 2003, 2008 and 2010. There are elite and popular races over 10 km, as well as a races for younger athletes and wheelchair racers. Furthermore, an annual 20 km hike (la randonnée) is held in conjunction with the running events. The hike takes walkers across the Bay of Saint-Brieuc at low tide and then through the peninsula of Hillion. In 2009 over 500 people took part in the hike, over 450 young runners took part in the youth race, and over 850 runners ran the popular 10K race. In total, the day's events attract almost 2000 participants every year, from elite runners to disabled athletes. On top of this, around 15,000 spectators watch the race in the centre of the village – a number which is twice the population of Langueux. The course is double-looped and encompasses the village centre, passing points of interest including the Langueux church and sports complex. Past winners of the race include 1998 Olympic fourth placer Jean-Louis Prianon, World Championship marathon runner Nadia Ejjafini, and 2006 Lille Half Marathon winner Meriem Wangari. The course records for the race are 27:46 minutes for men, set by Atsedu Tsegay in 2011, and 31:20 minutes for women, set by Clémence Calvin in 2018.

Saint-Brieuc station (French: Gare de Saint-Brieuc) is a railway station serving the town Saint-Brieuc, Côtes-d'Armor department, western France. It is situated on the Paris–Brest railway and the branch line to Pontivy (freight) and Le Légué (sometimes touristic).

The Douvenant Viaduct (viaduc de Douvenant) is a railway viaduct built between 1903 and 1905 for the Chemin de Fer des Côtes-du-Nord, between the French communes of Saint-Brieuc and Langueux. It was used by the Saint-Brieuc - Moncontour line and the Saint-Brieuc - Saint-Briac line. It was designed by Louis Auguste Harel de La Noë and is the grandest in a series of thirteen "grognet" type viaducts.

Saint-Brieuc Cathedral (French: Basilique-Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Saint-Brieuc) is a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Saint-Brieuc, Brittany, France, and dedicated to Saint Stephen. The cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Saint-Brieuc and Tréguier. It was declared a minor basilica on 3 September 1875. It is a listed monument historique since 1906.

The Diocese of Saint-Brieuc and Tréguier (Latin: Dioecesis Briocensis et Trecorensis; French: Diocèse de Saint-Brieuc et Tréguier; Breton: Eskopti Sant-Brieg ha Landreger) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France. The diocese comprises the department of Côtes d'Armor in the Region of Brittany. The diocese is currently suffragan to the Archdiocese of Rennes, Dol, and Saint-Malo. The current bishop is Denis Moutel, appointed in 2010. Originally erected, according to legend, in the 5th century, the diocese was suppressed by the French Revolution. Re-established by the Concordat of 1802, the diocese became a suffragan to the Archdiocese of Tours. Later, in 1850, it became suffragan of the Archdiocese of Rennes. The Diocese of Saint-Brieuc was formed to include: (1) the ancient diocese of the same name; (2) the greater portion of the Diocese of Tréguier; (3) a part of the old Dioceses of St. Malo, Dol, and Quimper and Léon, and (4) the parishes of the Diocese of Vannes. In 1852 the Bishops of Saint-Brieuc were authorized to add to their title that of the ancient See of Tréguier. In 2022, in the Diocese of Saint-Brieuc and Tréguier there was one priest for every 5,129 Catholics.

The arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc is an arrondissement of France in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the Brittany region. It has 113 communes. Its population is 270,785 (2016), and its area is 2,696.0 km2 (1,040.9 sq mi).
