Santa Maria della Concezione a Montecalvario is a church in central Naples, Italy. Founded as a small church in 1579, it was attached to the adjacent monastery and school of the Concezione. It is located on via Concezione a Montecalvario #32. From 1718 to 1725, Domenico Antonio Vaccaro with the collaboration of the engineers Giuseppe Lucchese Prezzolini and Filippo Marinelli, reconstructed the church. Its decoration dates to 1724. In 1889 the complex was closed due to structural instability. By the end of the 19th century it had come to the jurisdiction of the Collegi Riuniti, and in 1916, it was granted in perpetuity to the Archiconfraternity of the Santissimo Corpo di Cristo, while the college and garden were given to the Commune of Naples. In 1928, the college was demolished and a school built. In 1960 a maternity institute was built in the grounds of the garden. In 1978, further restorations were carried out under Loreto Colombo, yet the church was again damaged by the 1980 Irpinia earthquake, and work continued till 1987. The interior has a Greek cross plan. The cupola is decorated by stuccoes by Giuseppe Cristiano. The main altar and the majolica pavement wes designed by Vaccaro. It is flanked by the heraldic symbols of the Mercurio family. The 16th century statue depicts the Immaculate Conception. The chapels have paintings by Vaccaro, Tommaso Martini, and Nicola Maria Rossi. The Vaccaro brothers also completed the majolica pavement.

Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish Neighborhoods) is a part of the city of Naples in Italy. The Neapolitan language is stronger here than anywhere else. The area, encompassing c. 800,000 square metres, consists of a grid of around eighteen streets by twelve, including a population of some 14,000 inhabitants. The Quartieri were created in the 16th century to house Spanish garrisons, hence the name, whose role was to quench revolts from the Neapolitan population. Santa Maria ad Ogni Bene dei Sette Dolori, also known as Santa Maria de Sette Dolori, is a Roman Catholic church in Naples, Italy. It stands on a hill, providing an excellent view of Spaccanapoli, a Decumanus of Naples which ends across via Francesco Girardi. From the door of the church, one has a direct view across Naples through the straight decumanus. The church also faces the former convent of Santissima Trinità delle Monache.

The Palazzo Buono is a palace in Naples, located on via Toledo in the Montecalvario district. It was first commissioned in the 17th century by the De Curtis family and designed by Bartolomeo Picchiatti. It later housed the Monte dei Poveri Vergognosi bank and during the ten years of French occupation it became the tribunal of commerce. After the French departed, it was bought by the Buono family, who in 1826 took on Gaetano Genovese to rebuild it in the neoclassical style. It was later acquired by the Bocconi brothers, who turned it into a department store before selling it in 1921 to the Società Magazzini Milanesi, which became La Rinascente. In 2008 La Rinascente shut down and the palace remained closed until 2011, when it became an H&M store.

The church of the Santissima Trinità degli Spagnoli is a religious building in Naples, Italy, found in the piazza of the same name. The structure was first built in 1573 and was ceded to the Spanish residents of the Quartieri Spagnoli, later it passed to the Order of the Santissima Trinità della Redenzione dei Cattivi, an order dedicated to the redemption of captives held in Muslim lands. This order had been instituted by Pope Innocent III. The church was rebuilt and the interior redecorated by the Trinitarians in 1788. The portico dates from the mid-17th century. The church and convent were suppressed during the Napoleonic occupation. At the time a seventeenth-century altarpiece of the Santissima Trinità con la Madonna del Rimedio was looted.

Santissima Trinità delle Monache is a large former monastery and church in central Naples, Italy; it now serves as a military hospital. It is located in the Spanish Quarter of the city.

Santa Maria del Rosario a Portamedina (also known as the church of Santa Giovanna d'Arco or Rosariello a Portamedina) is a church located on Via Rosario in Portamedina in the Quartieri Spagnoli of the historic center of Naples, Italy. The church was founded in 1568 by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, and church and cloister were completed in the 17th century. From 1724 to 1742, the complex underwent reconstruction, which gives the site its present shape, external rococo decoration, and internal stucco details. This was likely carried out by either Domenico Antonio Vaccaro or his followers. In 1929, the conservatory of the Dominican order was transferred to nuns of the Compagnia di Maria and in 1937 it was recognized legally as a school. During the twentieth century, the complex was enlarged and altered. The facade facing a narrow street, has an ornate stucco portico. The interior is a centralized with two chapels, a rectangular apse, and no dome. At present, the church is closed to the public.
