The Ravenswood Manor Historic District is a historic district in the Albany Park community area of North Side, Chicago, Illinois. It is bordered by the Chicago River on the East, and by the alley south of Lawrence Avenue on the North, Sacramento Avenue on the West, and the alley North of Montrose Avenue on the south. Ravenswood Manor is a primarily residential neighborhood that was developed during the early twentieth century. It contains many bungalows, and some of the homes along the river have their own docks.One of the most famous recent residents has been former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 2008.

The Paul Revere Masonic Temple was a Masonic Temple built in Chicago, Illinois in 1880 as a residential home, at 1521 West Wilson Avenue. In 1899 became the Ravenswood Women’s Club with an addition later., it was made out of wood, it was a two stories building, with a large front porch and a large lawn on the Ashland Avenue side. The building had 7 bedrooms, 2 meeting rooms, reception hall with dance floor and sitting room, also billiards and bowling alley.In 1920 the Grand Templars of Illinois invited Paul Revere Lodge to join them in the ownership of the temple, and then after a few years they offered to sell it to Paul Revere Lodge. One unique feature was that the wooden window shutters all had the Square and Compasses cut in them. In 2004 the Landmark designation was approved by the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, but not by the owners at that time, under the Religious Buildings Ordinance. In 2006 became the Vietnamese Buddhist Chùa Trúc Lâm Temple. In 2017 it was demolished after Preservation Chicago could not find a buyer to preserve the historic structure. In 2021 a new building opened as The Gardner School with a new address number listed as 1525 West Wilson Avenue.

Governor Horner State Memorial is a granite monument dedicated to Henry Horner, the thirtieth governor of Illinois who served from 1933 to 1940. The memorial stands in Horner Park in Chicago, Illinois at the corner of Montrose Avenue and California Avenue. It is maintained by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency as a state historic site. The monument was designed by John Brcin in 1948. It features reliefs representing Horner during his years as probate judge and as governor. The monument was originally located in Grant Park but was moved in 1956 to its present site at Horner Park when the fieldhouse was opened.

goosefoot (stylized as goosefoot®) is an American restaurant located in Chicago. An adjacent grocery, called goosefoot food & wine, opened in 2014. The food and wine store added an ice cream shop in late 2017.The restaurant is BYOB.

Kedzie is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is an at-grade station located in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood at 4648 North Kedzie, with an auxiliary entrance at 4649 North Spaulding Avenue. The adjacent stations are Kimball, the terminus of the line about one third of a mile (0.536 km) to the north west, and Francisco, which is located about one third of a mile (0.536 km) to the east. This station was the site of a fatal 1977 accident involving an intoxicated Korean immigrant who was electrocuted by the third rail while attempting to urinate on the track. The CTA was found 50% responsible and the $1.5 million judgment against them was eventually affirmed by the Illinois Supreme Court in 1992. The majority opinion, signed by Justice Charles E. Freeman, noted that there was evidence before the trial court that this particular stretch of railroad line is one of the only railroad lines in the United States that uses an unprotected, unguarded, and unfenced third rail.

Rockwell is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is an at-grade station with a single island platform, located in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood. The adjacent stations are Francisco, which is located across the Chicago River about 3⁄8-mile (0.60 km) to the west, and Western, located about 1⁄4-mile (0.40 km) to the east. Rockwell is the last station on the surface section of the Brown Line; between Rockwell and Western the line ascends and runs on elevated tracks for the rest of the route.

In 2019, it announced it would become part of NorthShore University HealthSystem.

The Kimball Yard is a CTA rail yard in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest side of Chicago, Illinois, United States, which stores cars for the Brown Line of the Chicago Transit Authority. Currently, 2600-series and 3200-series railcars are stored here. It is adjacent to Kimball station.

Kimball is an 'L' station and the terminus of the CTA's Brown Line. It is located in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood. From Kimball, trains run south and then east to Kedzie, which is about 0.33 miles (0.53 km) away. During regular hours trains are scheduled to depart from Kimball every 7–10 minutes, and take about 33 minutes to reach the Loop. The station and nearby Kimball Avenue are both named after Martin Kimbell, a 19th century farmer who owned land in the area that is today known as Logan Square.There is an inside joke in the 1993 film The Fugitive when the main character Dr. Kimble boards a Kimball-Belmont 'L' train.

Old Main is a historic building on the campus of North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. Built in 1893–94, it is the oldest building at the university, which was known as Swedish Evangelical Mission Covenant College at the time. Contractor J.A. Modin built the Georgian Revival building, which features a prominent cupola atop its roof. The building became a symbol of both the university itself and the surrounding Swedish-American neighborhood, as the college was a Swedish-American institution attended by Swedes throughout the country. It also hosted the Evangelical Covenant Church's Annual Meeting in its early years; at the time, the church was closely affiliated with the Swedish-American community.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 11, 1982.

North Park University is a private Christian university in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1891 by the Evangelical Covenant Church. It is located on Chicago's north side and enrolls more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
