Governor Horner State Memorial

The Ravenswood Manor Historic District is a historic district in the Albany Park community area of North Side, Chicago, Illinois. It is bordered by the Chicago River on the East, and by the alley south of Lawrence Avenue on the North, Sacramento Avenue on the West, and the alley North of Montrose Avenue on the south. Ravenswood Manor is a primarily residential neighborhood that was developed during the early twentieth century. It contains many bungalows, and some of the homes along the river have their own docks.One of the most famous recent residents has been former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 2008.

Rockwell is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is an at-grade station with a single island platform, located in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood. The adjacent stations are Francisco, which is located across the Chicago River about 3⁄8-mile (0.60 km) to the west, and Western, located about 1⁄4-mile (0.40 km) to the east. Rockwell is the last station on the surface section of the Brown Line; between Rockwell and Western the line ascends and runs on elevated tracks for the rest of the route.

Francisco is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is an at-grade station with a single island platform, located in Chicago's Ravenswood Manor neighborhood at 4649 North Francisco Avenue. The adjacent stations are Kedzie, which is about one third of a mile (0.536 km) to the west, and Rockwell, located across the Chicago River about three eighths of a mile (0.6 km) to the east.

The Paul Revere Masonic Temple was a Masonic Temple built in Chicago, Illinois in 1880 as a residential home, at 1521 West Wilson Avenue. In 1899 became the Ravenswood Women’s Club with an addition later., it was made out of wood, it was a two stories building, with a large front porch and a large lawn on the Ashland Avenue side. The building had 7 bedrooms, 2 meeting rooms, reception hall with dance floor and sitting room, also billiards and bowling alley.In 1920 the Grand Templars of Illinois invited Paul Revere Lodge to join them in the ownership of the temple, and then after a few years they offered to sell it to Paul Revere Lodge. One unique feature was that the wooden window shutters all had the Square and Compasses cut in them. In 2004 the Landmark designation was approved by the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, but not by the owners at that time, under the Religious Buildings Ordinance. In 2006 became the Vietnamese Buddhist Chùa Trúc Lâm Temple. In 2017 it was demolished after Preservation Chicago could not find a buyer to preserve the historic structure. In 2021 a new building opened as The Gardner School with a new address number listed as 1525 West Wilson Avenue.

goosefoot (stylized as goosefoot®) is an American restaurant located in Chicago. An adjacent grocery, called goosefoot food & wine, opened in 2014. The food and wine store added an ice cream shop in late 2017.The restaurant is BYOB.

The Berlin Wall Monument in Chicago is an exhibit on display at the Western Brown Line CTA station. The monument contains a large segment of the Berlin Wall and a plaque describing its dedication to the city. The Berlin Wall represented one of the great political, economic, and ideological divides of the twentieth century between two major powers: the United States and the Soviet Union.

Western is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is an elevated station with two side platforms, located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. The adjacent stations are Rockwell, which is located about one-quarter mile (0.40 km) to the west, and Damen, about one-half mile (0.80 km) to the east. Between Western and Rockwell the line descends and runs on ground level tracks for the rest of the route to Kimball.

Welles Park is one of the 5 parks created by the Lincoln Park Commission and is named after Gideon Welles. It is part of the City's park system administered by the Chicago Park District. A volunteer organization, The Welles Park Advisory Council helps support the park.Located between Western, Lincoln, Montrose, & Sunnyside Ave, it serves the Lincoln Square community of Chicago. Called one of the best neighborhood parks in the city. Welles Park has been described as 15 acres of great facilities (tennis, softball, an indoor pool) that never feels remotely crowded.

Lincoln Square, located on the North Side of the city of Chicago, Illinois, is one of 77 well-defined Chicago community areas. It encompasses the smaller neighborhoods of Ravenswood, Ravenswood Gardens, Bowmanville, Budlong Woods as well as the eponymous Lincoln Square neighborhood. Although it is sometimes known by these other names the City of Chicago officially designated it as Lincoln Square. According to the Encyclopedia of Chicago, the conflation of the neighborhoods of Ravenswood and Lincoln Square is a common mistake — the two are not interchangeable. The boundaries of the original Ravenswood subdivision, drawn in 1869, were Montrose, Lawrence, Clark and Damen. In the 1920s, the University of Chicago divided the City into community areas, one of which was Lincoln Square, which included the existing Ravenswood subdivision.

312 RiverRun is a Chicago public hiking area under construction along the Chicago River. The development is a further move toward Chicago's goal of having a continuous pedestrian path along the entire riverfront. It will connect three parks with one bike and pedestrian path, and will extend nearly two miles. The park project receives funding from organizations including the Federal Highway Administration, the Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. The first phase of the project connects Richard Clark Park to California Park via the Riverview Bridge, crossing from the east bank to the west bank of the Chicago River creating an continuous path between Belmont Avenue and Irving Park Road. The Riverview Bridge opened in late November 2019. The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2020 after the Irving Park Road bridge replacement is completed. Upon completion of 312 RiverRun, there will exist a continuous trail to Montrose Avenue via Horner park.

The Chicago Lincoln is a statue of a standing, beardless Abraham Lincoln in Lincoln Square Chicago. The statue was designed by Lloyd Ostendorf for a city contest and modeled by sculptor Avard Fairbanks. The statue was erected on October 16, 1956.

Kedzie is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is an at-grade station located in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood at 4648 North Kedzie, with an auxiliary entrance at 4649 North Spaulding Avenue. The adjacent stations are Kimball, the terminus of the line about one third of a mile (0.536 km) to the north west, and Francisco, which is located about one third of a mile (0.536 km) to the east. This station was the site of a fatal 1977 accident involving an intoxicated Korean immigrant who was electrocuted by the third rail while attempting to urinate on the track. The CTA was found 50% responsible and the $1.5 million judgment against them was eventually affirmed by the Illinois Supreme Court in 1992. The majority opinion, signed by Justice Charles E. Freeman, noted that there was evidence before the trial court that this particular stretch of railroad line is one of the only railroad lines in the United States that uses an unprotected, unguarded, and unfenced third rail.
